Idena Beach Photography

at team players with the rest of the wedding vendors and made for a fun and easy day for everyone! Absolutely recommend!

so far (our sneak peak) and I’m already in awe of the work and so excited to see the rest. Could not recommend her more highly!!

ble and were so easy to work with. She somehow managed to get our sneak peak pictures to us the morning after our wedding and we were in awe. She nailed every shot! We can’t stop staring at all of our sneak peak pictures and we can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures. Idena and Mike were incredibly sweet to work with, I want to book another shoot just to see them again! We couldn’t recommend Idena Beach photography more- don’t hesitate, book asap!!!!

was looking for in a photographer. Idena captured every single moment without you even realizing she was standing right there. She had the experience to find the most perfect backdrops, tell you how to pose without making anything seemed forced, and TRULY let us have our day and be ourselves. To top it off, we also hired Mike as our videographer. Talk about an absolute dream team. Mike & Idena are creative, extremely talented, friendly, and above all true partners to their bride and grooms. We are so happy with our pictures and video and we could not thank Idena and Mike more. Do yourself a favor and book them for your wedding!!

aphy they’ve seen. They felt like family. I will forever be a fan of their work. Anyone in the VT area NEEDS TO HIRE THEM! You won’t be disappointed.

uly 16th wedding because I loved her photography. It's in the moment, vibrant and you can truly feel the emotion behind her work. What I didn't know when I booked Idena was that she'd stick out as the most incredible vendor I'd work with throughout my wedding planning process. I explained to Idena "my vibe" in a very round about, half making sense way and yet she just got it. After a couple of Instagram interactions and emails I felt like she really took the time to figure out what I couldn't articulate about what I wanted for my photos and how to accomplish them. When I needed a new florist 7 months out from the wedding- Idena sent me options and ultimately, one of those options turned into the florist of my dreams! Idena goes ABOVE AND BEYOND for her clients. Despite not meeting until the Friday of our wedding weekend, I felt like she was a friend. She fully met us exactly where we were at and embraced our slight chaotic, at times a bit inappropriate and wild group and just got right in there to capture the magic of the weekend. Oh, did I mention her incredible partner, husband and videographer Mike was as fun, down for anything and professional as she was? They truly are a dynamic duo. My husband and I's friends were a WILD bunch and these two really kept up. From the first look pictures on the wedding day throughout the dance party- Idena and Mike were right there, in the action, not missing a MOMENT. And when it came time to select a song for our wedding video- of course, Idena hit the nail on the head the first try with her song idea. She truly takes the time to get to know the couples she works with and that is priceless. Oh also- we ran almost an hour a head of schedule the entire wedding day because Idena and Mike were so on it, making sure we got the shots but not taking more time than needed. No one felt exhausted or frustrated by the pictures- everyone was just enjoying themselves! Do not hesitate- HIRE THEM! She is worth every (very fairly priced) penny and I am forever grateful to have had her capture our special day. Thank you endlessly Idena and Mike.

that we would be hard to please. We wanted to find someone who would capture the small moments throughout the day and would display the personality of our family and friends. Not just pose and snap. The second we saw Idena’s work and met her in person we knew our photo prayers were answered. She is one of the most genuine people you will ever meet which is so important to have in a photographer who will be with you all day. We had an amazing experience with her for our engagement photo session in Stowe, VT that we knew our wedding day photos would go off without a hitch. The day of our wedding Idena and Mike showed up early and immediately clicked with our entire wedding party and other vendors. Our bridal party is still talking about how fun they were to be with. Not to mention the photos came out AMAZING. We even had someone ask us if they were going in a magazine because they were so stunning. Idena and Mike captured every moment and small detail. Nothing felt too staged. Hire Idena immediately. Your search is over!

super flexible with our date change no questions asked. Her and her husband make for the ultimate duo, so fun to have around on our wedding day and capture all our special moments. I literally woke up the next day to and email with almost 100 sneak peek photos that were stunning- everyone’s in awe of the photos and it only just scratching the surface!! I really can’t say it enough, Idena is truly amazing and incredibly talented. I can’t wait to see the rest of the photos in the coming weeks. She truly is one of the best!

ed her. And we are all sooooo glad we did! She was amazing! First of all, she helped us with our day-of schedule by making excellent suggestions. Second of all, she remained calm and created a most relaxed 'vibe' for all of us. And last but not least, the photographs are exquisite! She is a gifted and talented photographer!

s "real life but better", and that's what she and Mike captured for us on our wedding day. I'm a high stress person typically, but I knew that photos weren't something I had to think twice about because they had it handled completely and helped our day run smoothly even when things much outside of their control (or job description) needed some help. We had an unfortunate situation with our DJ and when Idena saw I was upset she took the time to sit with us and calm our stress and then whisk us away while things were taken care of. Mike jumped into action to make sure speeches were happening on time and get cords set up for us to keep the music going. They went above and beyond what we could have ever expected, and even more they were so kind and supportive in the days following our wedding. Our wedding day ended up being even better than we could have imagined because we had amazing vendors like Idena and Mike and they captured the beautiful moments following with our friends and family that we will never forget. We are absolutely obsessed with our photos and couldn't have asked for a better team to be apart of our day!

ountain Top Inn). When I reached out in 2020 to book with her, she was so flexible that I didn't know if my wedding was going to be in 2020 or 2021. When we did need to move dates, the process was seamless. Leading up to the wedding, Idena was very responsive and helpful with timelines and tips on the big day. I was getting married in November so weather was tricky. We ended up having a foot of snow on our wedding day and the pictures came out flawless! Idena, Mike and Heather were our photographers and they made the day fun and relaxing! They kept everything moving so that no one got too cold and they made sure to get all the important photos. It was like they were everywhere because nothing was missed. They kept us laughing and in great moods the whole day. They also made sure to grab us quickly for all the perfect shots (which led to beautiful sunset photos!). We even got a whole mini album right after the wedding to enjoy on our honeymoon. I am still obsessing over my photos and our friends and family are too. I can not wait to work with Idena for future life photo events :)

fun to talk to, and so accommodating. Her “a la carte” menu for the photography packages allowed us to pick and choose what we really needed/wanted for our wedding photography, and stay within our budget. During the pandemic she graciously honored our deposits and changed our date without hesitation and with total understanding which we greatly appreciated. Idena and Mike captured our wedding so wonderfully (especially all the candids!) and we are so, so thankful. Their calm presence (and sense of humor) allowed us to be relaxed on our wedding weekend and enjoy the moments! We truly can’t stop looking at the photos and all of our friends/family keep saying how great the photos are. Book Idena - I promise you will not be disappointed!!

lery. We met for the first time in person at this photoshoot and immediately felt so sure in our decision to work with her the day of our wedding. Not only did she make us feel so comfortable, but she's the type of person that makes you feel like she's an old friend even after just meeting. As someone who is not comfortable in front of a camera, Idena did an incredible job of putting us at ease - making us laugh, being specific about what poses to do and taking us to her favorite spots at the venue all while genuinely trying to get to know us. I also tend to be very critical when looking at photos of myself, but I am absolutely in love with all of Idena's photos. Our wedding will be September 2022 at the Mountain Top Inn and Resort in VT and I cannot wait for her to capture the entire day. I spent a lot of time researching Vermont photographers and truly believe there is no one better than Idena, do not hesitate to book her for your date it would be impossible to regret the decision!!

and I were by her photos. Every single picture was better than the last, I don't know that there are enough frames in the world to frame the number of pictures I want from our gallery. Idena and her husband were also the most incredible wedding vendors to work with. Planning a wedding (especially when you were a 2020 bride) is so stressful and it is so difficult to find vendors you care and support you, and that is exactly what Idena and Mike did for us. They were so positive and fun and efficient, which is crucial when you want to get to cocktail hour! I could not recommend Idena and her husband (videographer) enough. I am still in awe of the gallery from our wedding. We love you Idena!!

didn't even know she saw. Seriously, she must have been everywhere at once to capture all that she did. I love all of the candid shots she got and she made family portraits a breeze! I literally cannot stop looking at our photos. Thank you so much, Idena!

ing, and flexible. She ended up shooting some engagement pictures, then photographing our tiny summer 2020 wedding and our bigger 2021 celebration, and working with her was just an absolute joy at every stage of the process. The pictures we received last week went beyond our wildest dreams in capturing the joy of being together with our family and friends after such a rough year. Idena (and Mike!) are just extraordinarily talented and warm people who we cannot recommend highly enough. Bonnie & Sam

ndid shots of our families and friends truly captured the day, even the tiniest of sweet moments we may have forgotten. We will treasure our wedding pictures forever and we can't recommend working with Idena and Mike enough!

y moment but blended in so well! We loved working with them and cannot wait to see the amazing footage they captured!

y daughter immediately felt a connection to Idena. On the big day they arrived and got right to work. Mike photographed the guys getting ready and Idena stayed with the girls- then they worked the rest of the day/evening together. They were so easy to work with, and we couldn't be happier with the photos. They were never intrusive and worked with us to make sure we got all of the group photos we wanted without taking the happy couple away from the festivities. The hardest part is going to be choosing what photos to use for the wedding album. Extra kudos for the patience and support they gave to us when the wedding had to be delayed and rebooked. Thank heavens they were available for the new date!!!! We couldn't recommend them more- everyone who sees the pictures are thrilled!! Thank Idena and Mike!!!

ets married! Before and during both events, Idena was super friendly, professional, and very easy to communicate with. She especially blew us away with her work for our wedding between her creative ideas and knowledge of different settings and lightings to capture a wide variety of photos. During our ceremony and reception, we never noticed her taking tons of shots, and even though our wedding was on her birthday, she even got us an awesome photo finalized and sent to us at 1am right after our wedding! Within a few days, she sent us a "sneak peek" with a mix of photos throughout our wedding day/night, and 2 weeks later, we had all of her photos (of which there were TONS!), and they were fantastic. We highly recommend Idena to anyone needing the best photographer in New England to capture their special events!

tural. So many people have told us that our engagement pictures were the best they have ever seen. Her and her husband shot our wedding day and they fit in seamlessly with our family and friends. Idena got us highlight pictures within 48 hours and the pictures are stunning! Very artistic, unique shots and a ton of incredible candids as well. Best decision we ever made and we are so happy to have these pictures forever.

e clean, bright, and timeless and we cherish them every day. Idena captured the landscape and season so beautifully. She has an incredible eye and heart for the details that make a wedding special—from the small, personal touches that made the day ours to the displays of love and friendship that surrounded us all day long, we have those moments forever captured in her photos. She took the most beautiful family and group photos as well - my husband and I have large families and we wanted a photo of our combined immediate families. With 13 adults and 9 children under 10, it seemed an impossible feat but she captured frame after frame showcasing our beautiful families. We love the photo so much, we enlarged it to 24x36 inches and it’s the center piece in our family room. If you’re on the search for a wedding photographer, look no further and hire Idena immediately. You’ll be so glad you did!

ble in front of the camera, she put us at ease and made the experience fun for both of us. We loved having the engagement shoot to get to know her and her style, and the pictures turned out amazing. While we planned to have Idena and her husband shoot photos and video at our wedding of 125 guests, due to COVID, we ended up moving forward with a small ceremony with our immediate families. She captured the intimacy, love, and happiness perfectly. Idena's talent, professionalism, and demeanor is unmatched. We cannot recommend her enough!

to have these pictures and videos to look back on years from now.

Based on reviews and portfolios we choose Idena. She was our head photographer and brought her husband Mike as the 2nd photographer. Idena kept in close contact leading up to the wedding, answering any questions/ concerns we had. They were by far the best vendor we had at our wedding. They are both so down to earth and easy to work with. They completely understood our vision and made us feel calm during an emotional day. Her prices are very reasonable and well worth it for her awesome pictures. Her turnaround time was very impressive, even sending us a preview the next day. We cannot full express our love and gratitude for this awesome lady.

made us look like rockstars! Idena was a joy to work with and made us feel so supported when we realized we would have to make a change to our original plan. The photos are amazing. She really honed in on our color scheme and the end result is an incredibly vibrant and beautiful set of photographs! Can't wait to work with her again for our bigger reception next year!

so much fun to work with. We booked Idena last year, and I spoke with her several times on the phone- she was so down to earth and relatable, we knew that we wanted to book her immediately. We met her in person at our engagement photos- she can truly turn any setting into the most amazing backdrop/location for pictures. We even brought our dog and she did an amazing job capturing some nice photos of all of us along with candid shots! We were so impressed, especially because we typically don’t like being in pictures, and she made us look so good haha. Fast forward to covid- Idena was in constant touch and provided some relief in times of such uncertainty, especially when other vendors were cancelling. She reached out to me just to see how I was doing, which was so kind and thoughtful. Then came our wedding day- OH.MY.GOD. Idena and her husband Mike were so easy going and we honestly forgot they were there for part of it. We did a first look, which was captured perfectly. We also brought our dog, who was a little bit overwhelmed, so Mike took him aside and got some amazing photographs of him to the side (with his little dog tux and everything!). Idena captured all of the detail shots and formal shots we asked for, which were on a form she had us fill out about two weeks prior to the wedding. This kept us on track with such a tight timeline. Our reception ended around 10 and we received a bunch of “sneak peak” photos the next day!! We can’t wait to see the rest of them. My husband loved working with Mike earlier in the day- he said that Mike just “fit right in” with his groomsmen as they were all hanging out. Several guests also commented on how polite and friendly Idena and Mike were as well. Because of covid, we downsized our wedding this year to just family and bridal party. We can’t wait to work with them again next year for our big wedding!!

d our Engagement pics outside by Kent Pond and Killington Mountain and despite the cold blustery breezes, they came out gorgeous. > We had to reschedule our Wedding plans of over 100 people and reduce to 19 guests plus the priest due to Covid restrictions. During this extremely difficult time, Idena was very supportive of whatever we both needed to do. We ended up having a very intimate beautiful wedding at Our Lady of the Snows, followed by a great intimate reception at Simon Pearce. I have to mention, Idena was easygoing and very supportive of our “Plan B” wedding. Idena was phenomenal and so calm to work with us every step of our wedding day July 5, 2020, she made us feel like we were the only people in the world. Our family also commented on her professionalism and patience with everyone. Idena gets 5 stars in our book. > Weddings are stressful to plan, however during Covid it brought stress to another level. We feel truly blessed as it was a true miracle to have had a beautiful wedding during this time in history. We were all so fortunate and happy to work with Idena as her work is impeccable. The covered bridge; the mass, the waterfalls and Woodstock Inn photos were so beautiful. Not to mention the proofs and our final wedding album were sent in a very timely and extremely professional manner. We would highly Recomended Idena if you are looking for a true artist and photographer who will enhance your wedding Day. Idena’s wonderful, calm attitude along with her true professionalism is who you want to hire for your “special day”. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Idena. Xo > > Sincerely always, Janet and Kenny.

the photos from our engagement shoot to the wedding day! Idena and her husband are amazing and I highly recommend them!!!!

fortable, offered a great amount of direction but also plenty of flexibility. She even stayed an extra half hour because our timeline ran long and she knew we wanted some special bonfire pictures at the end of the night. Her skill with light was impressive. Blinding shadeless farm? No problem. The photos look great. She even set up this cool spot light to illuminate our jam session around the bonfire. which is something really special to us. We were smitten with the sampling of photos she sent to us THE NEXT DAY (!) to tide us over until the rest were edited, etc. Do other photographers do that? Beats us, we have never been married before, but we were delighted and impressed. More than anything, she's just so damn good at what she does, giving us an indelible and beautiful record of our wedding day.

arm. They made our camera-shy family feel comfortable and, without our knowing it, they managed to get every shot we never knew we wanted. It's been nearly a year since we got married and every day I see the photographs that Idena and Mike took and I am back: with my family, in the light and warmth of our special day, feeling and looking our best. I cannot recommend Idena enough. Thank you x 1,000!

ough her work and her package/a la carte options, we were not only very impressed but we immediately felt comfortable and excited to work with her. She reached out to us well in advance with a very thorough questionnaire to make sure we had everything we wanted. On the day of the wedding, she was joined by her husband, Mike, who was also just as great - the two of them work very well together. Though it was first thing in the morning, it was clear that we were already behind schedule and the both of them were beyond flexible, saying they could take other shots while we were getting ready. They did a great job of going with the flow which really calmed us all down. They had very creative ideas for picture shots and were willing to take anything we had requested - we have quite a large family so the list of shots we wanted were endless, and they covered them no problem - even on a very tight timeline. Throughout the night, they made sure we were having a great time and at the same time were invisible, never really sticking out or feeling like cameras were all over us. By our drive home the next day, we already had an email with around 60 “sneak peek” pictures, and they were AMAZING. We were so excited to already have a chance to share some with our family and friends. By the time we got back from our honeymoon three weeks later, the rest of the gallery was completely finished and available. We were truly in awe, along with the rest of our family and friends, at the quality and thorough amount of pictures taken. No special moment went uncultured, and ones we didn’t even realize had happened were on there too. By the end of the night we truly felt like we had made new friends with them. The gallery is available online for 6 months for anyone to download seamlessly, which makes things very easy for us and our guests to pull any pictures we may want. The payment options are also super convenient and easy, you can do one full payment, auto-payments, or recurring payments, all while receiving email updates and reminders. We had just the most wonderful time with these two and truly can’t thank them enough for capturing what has been the most special day of our lives. We 100% recommend Idena for your big day, you will be thrilled with your experience!

ss to say we absolutely LOVED working with Idena, her husband Mike, and their team! They did our photos and wedding video. We felt like we were a part of their family and they were a part of ours! Our day was perfect, our photos are amazing and our video is breath taking! Thank you so much!

d every detail and all of the special moments so brilliantly. And best of all, these two are such wonderful people who genuinely care about making your wedding the best it can be. I will never be able to thank them enough for the tangible memories they have created for me and my family. ❤️

our candid (less formal pictures) vibe. My husband really dislikes posing for pictures, and Idena made it so easy, and took so many great in the moment pictures of our wedding. We appreciate it so much! A bonus is that we got married at Mountain Top Inn, and Idena was not only familiarized with the best locations to take photographs, but also, with all the vendors. Everything ran so smoothly! Thank you for being part of such a special day with us!!

know this and she made me comfortable in front of the camera. She is thoughtful, relaxed and really listens when you tell her something that is important to you. Idena's husband, Mike, also photographed on our wedding day. He was so great with photographing our flower girl and our dog (two very important parts for us!). Idena not only takes great posed photos, she is great at taking less traditional photos and really capture the wedding in the moment. I would recommend using Idena 100%

nt above and beyond for us and our day. She and Mike are truly talented and professional. They perfectly captured the moments and memories from our day and we are so grateful!

sionalism and talent - they brought fun, comfort, and even more joy to all of our time. The finished product speaks for itself - if you have viewed Idena's gallery, you know she's incredible - but the love and generosity you also get from her is worth more than what she charges! Not only did Idena and Mike celebrate with us, they helped calm us (lets be honest, ME) under some day-of stress, blended seamlessly into the background when they thought best, and stayed up late to give us a sneak peek the very next day!! As if that wasn't enough, they took our videographer under their wing (he's a family member who is very talented but had never shot a wedding before) and helped him navigate the day right alongside them. I honestly could never say enough about Idena and Mike. MVP vendor for sure.

us (from the engagement shoot to the wedding itself) was absolutely breathtaking and exceeded all of our expectations. She has an incredible eye for beautiful shots and knew exactly how to capture the important and special moments of our wedding. When I look back at our enormous gallery of photos from our big day, I am completely unable to choose favorites because all of the photos were incredible. Everybody always tells you how fast your wedding day goes by; but going back through the gallery allows me to relive the amazing day all over again. Beyond the photos themselves, Idena and her husband Mike were hilarious, professional, and sooo hardworking - our reception was quite the party but they were right there to capture every single moment. I could genuinely go on for hours about how amazing Idena and Mike are, but hopefully you get the point - we HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Idena Beach Photography. Our wedding wouldn’t have been half as incredible without them!!

lorado so as you can imagine, it was stressful. From admiring Idena on Instagram I knew this was the photographer for me. I tend to think I am a little quirky and get nervous when the attention is on me. From the very first phone call Idena made me feel completely comfortable. Her nurturing and none stressful vibe is not a talent you can teach and one that every bride wants around her on their special day. Her added perk is that she simple amazing at what she does and has the eye for seeing the best parts of you, your partner and your guests. I also ended up having her husband Mike do the videography for our wedding. Again, this is something that made me incredibly nervous to do. I have gone to other friends weddings and seeing their hired paparazzi following their every move with huge cameras, big mics and these big boom like things…. That was not for me. When I expressed to Idena and Mike my concerns they immediately put all my concerns to rest. They like to capture every moment themselves to make for a better picture and/or story later. None of our guest even knew we were making a video and the mics were tiny. Besides marry my husband, having Idena and Mike capture all the incredible moments, most of which I forgot about (you’re in a fog the day of your wedding)) was truly the best decision I made that day. I am so incredibly grateful to have this powerhouse of talent that captured our day!

Idena made me so comfortable with her. We met the morning of the wedding and were immediately at ease with both of them. Idena is so warm and friendly and even though I do not enjoy being photographed, she made it fun and natural. Idena and Mike worked so hard in dim lighting and went above and beyond on a cold night to get some fantastic pictures for us. They really listened to what we wanted and delivered on it. Communication and turn around time were great as well. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

shful model out of her shell and I could not be happier with the outcome. My husband and I are so pleased that she captured our day so splendidly.

of our wedding, sharing in our joy. I can't imagine choosing anyone else to photograph our wedding, looking through their pictures allows me to relieve the day over and over! I don't know how they did it but they used their special brand of magic to take the most perfect pictures that I will treasure the rest of my life. I cannot recommend them enough!!

cannot recommend her enough. She is extremely personal and professional. On the personal side, she is extremely thoughtful, friendly, and really took the time to understand our story. On the professional side, she is great with communication, great at her art, extremely punctual, and always delivered or arrived ahead of timelines/schedules. Her work is fantastic as well. Everyone I've shown my pictures to have commented on how she was able to capture the emotions and the true feeling of the wedding. I highly recommend working with her. 100%!
