uly 16th wedding because I loved her photography. It's in the moment, vibrant and you can truly feel the emotion behind her work. What I didn't know when I booked Idena was that she'd stick out as the most incredible vendor I'd work with throughout my wedding planning process. I explained to Idena "my vibe" in a very round about, half making sense way and yet she just got it. After a couple of Instagram interactions and emails I felt like she really took the time to figure out what I couldn't articulate about what I wanted for my photos and how to accomplish them. When I needed a new florist 7 months out from the wedding- Idena sent me options and ultimately, one of those options turned into the florist of my dreams! Idena goes ABOVE AND BEYOND for her clients. Despite not meeting until the Friday of our wedding weekend, I felt like she was a friend. She fully met us exactly where we were at and embraced our slight chaotic, at times a bit inappropriate and wild group and just got right in there to capture the magic of the weekend. Oh, did I mention her incredible partner, husband and videographer Mike was as fun, down for anything and professional as she was? They truly are a dynamic duo. My husband and I's friends were a WILD bunch and these two really kept up. From the first look pictures on the wedding day throughout the dance party- Idena and Mike were right there, in the action, not missing a MOMENT. And when it came time to select a song for our wedding video- of course, Idena hit the nail on the head the first try with her song idea. She truly takes the time to get to know the couples she works with and that is priceless. Oh also- we ran almost an hour a head of schedule the entire wedding day because Idena and Mike were so on it, making sure we got the shots but not taking more time than needed. No one felt exhausted or frustrated by the pictures- everyone was just enjoying themselves! Do not hesitate- HIRE THEM! She is worth every (very fairly priced) penny and I am forever grateful to have had her capture our special day. Thank you endlessly Idena and Mike.

The second we saw Idena’s work and met her in person we knew our photo prayers were answered. I'm a high stress person typically, but I knew that photos weren't something I had to think twice about because they had it handled completely and helped our day run smoothly even when things much outside of their control (or job description) needed some help. We had an unfortunate situation with our DJ and when Idena saw I was upset she took the time to sit with us and calm our stress and then whisk us away while things were taken care of. Mike jumped into action to make sure speeches were happening on time and get cords set up for us to keep the music going. They went above and beyond what we could have ever expected, and even more they were so kind and supportive in the days following our wedding. Our wedding day ended up being even better than we could have imagined because we had amazing vendors like Idena and Mike and they captured the beautiful moments following with our friends and family that we will never forget. We are absolutely obsessed with our photos and couldn't have asked for a better team to be apart of our day!

When we did need to move dates, the process was seamless. Leading up to the wedding, Idena was very responsive and helpful with timelines and tips on the big day. I was getting married in November so weather was tricky. We ended up having a foot of snow on our wedding day and the pictures came out flawless! Idena, Mike and Heather were our photographers and they made the day fun and relaxing! They kept everything moving so that no one got too cold and they made sure to get all the important photos. It was like they were everywhere because nothing was missed. They kept us laughing and in great moods the whole day. They also made sure to grab us quickly for all the perfect shots (which led to beautiful sunset photos!). We even got a whole mini album right after the wedding to enjoy on our honeymoon. I am still obsessing over my photos and our friends and family are too. I can not wait to work with Idena for future life photo events :)

She especially blew us away with her work for our wedding between her creative ideas and knowledge of different settings and lightings to capture a wide variety of photos. During our ceremony and reception, we never noticed her taking tons of shots, and even though our wedding was on her birthday, she even got us an awesome photo finalized and sent to us at 1am right after our wedding! Within a few days, she sent us a "sneak peek" with a mix of photos throughout our wedding day/night, and 2 weeks later, we had all of her photos (of which there were TONS!), and they were fantastic. Based on reviews and portfolios we choose Idena. She was our head photographer and brought her husband Mike as the 2nd photographer. Idena kept in close contact leading up to the wedding, answering any questions/ concerns we had. They were by far the best vendor we had at our wedding. They are both so down to earth and easy to work with. They completely understood our vision and made us feel calm during an emotional day. Her prices are very reasonable and well worth it for her awesome pictures. Her turnaround time was very impressive, even sending us a preview the next day. We cannot full express our love and gratitude for this awesome lady.

so much fun to work with. We booked Idena last year, and I spoke with her several times on the phone- she was so down to earth and relatable, we knew that we wanted to book her immediately. We met her in person at our engagement photos- she can truly turn any setting into the most amazing backdrop/location for pictures. We even brought our dog and she did an amazing job capturing some nice photos of all of us along with candid shots! We were so impressed, especially because we typically don’t like being in pictures, and she made us look so good haha. Fast forward to covid- Idena was in constant touch and provided some relief in times of such uncertainty, especially when other vendors were cancelling. She reached out to me just to see how I was doing, which was so kind and thoughtful. Then came our wedding day- OH.MY.GOD. Idena and her husband Mike were so easy going and we honestly forgot they were there for part of it. We did a first look, which was captured perfectly. We also brought our dog, who was a little bit overwhelmed, so Mike took him aside and got some amazing photographs of him to the side (with his little dog tux and everything!). Idena captured all of the detail shots and formal shots we asked for, which were on a form she had us fill out about two weeks prior to the wedding. This kept us on track with such a tight timeline. Our reception ended around 10 and we received a bunch of “sneak peak” photos the next day!! We can’t wait to see the rest of them. My husband loved working with Mike earlier in the day- he said that Mike just “fit right in” with his groomsmen as they were all hanging out. Several guests also commented on how polite and friendly Idena and Mike were as well. Because of covid, we downsized our wedding this year to just family and bridal party. We can’t wait to work with them again next year for our big wedding!!

During this extremely difficult time, Idena was very supportive of whatever we both needed to do. We ended up having a very intimate beautiful wedding at Our Lady of the Snows, followed by a great intimate reception at Simon Pearce. I have to mention, Idena was easygoing and very supportive of our “Plan B” wedding. Idena was phenomenal and so calm to work with us every step of our wedding day July 5, 2020, she made us feel like we were the only people in the world. Our family also commented on her professionalism and patience with everyone. Idena gets 5 stars in our book. > Weddings are stressful to plan, however during Covid it brought stress to another level. We feel truly blessed as it was a true miracle to have had a beautiful wedding during this time in history. We were all so fortunate and happy to work with Idena as her work is impeccable. The covered bridge; the mass, the waterfalls and Woodstock Inn photos were so beautiful. Not to mention the proofs and our final wedding album were sent in a very timely and extremely professional manner. She even stayed an extra half hour because our timeline ran long and she knew we wanted some special bonfire pictures at the end of the night. Her skill with light was impressive. Blinding shadeless farm? No problem. The photos look great. She even set up this cool spot light to illuminate our jam session around the bonfire. which is something really special to us. We were smitten with the sampling of photos she sent to us THE NEXT DAY (!) to tide us over until the rest were edited, etc. Do other photographers do that? Beats us, we have never been married before, but we were delighted and impressed. More than anything, she's just so damn good at what she does, giving us an indelible and beautiful record of our wedding day.

On the day of the wedding, she was joined by her husband, Mike, who was also just as great - the two of them work very well together. Though it was first thing in the morning, it was clear that we were already behind schedule and the both of them were beyond flexible, saying they could take other shots while we were getting ready. They did a great job of going with the flow which really calmed us all down. They had very creative ideas for picture shots and were willing to take anything we had requested - we have quite a large family so the list of shots we wanted were endless, and they covered them no problem - even on a very tight timeline. Throughout the night, they made sure we were having a great time and at the same time were invisible, never really sticking out or feeling like cameras were all over us. By our drive home the next day, we already had an email with around 60 “sneak peek” pictures, and they were AMAZING. We were so excited to already have a chance to share some with our family and friends. By the time we got back from our honeymoon three weeks later, the rest of the gallery was completely finished and available. We were truly in awe, along with the rest of our family and friends, at the quality and thorough amount of pictures taken. No special moment went uncultured, and ones we didn’t even realize had happened were on there too. By the end of the night we truly felt like we had made new friends with them. The gallery is available online for 6 months for anyone to download seamlessly, which makes things very easy for us and our guests to pull any pictures we may want. The payment options are also super convenient and easy, you can do one full payment, auto-payments, or recurring payments, all while receiving email updates and reminders. We had just the most wonderful time with these two and truly can’t thank them enough for capturing what has been the most special day of our lives. We 100% recommend Idena for your big day, you will be thrilled with your experience!

I tend to think I am a little quirky and get nervous when the attention is on me. From the very first phone call Idena made me feel completely comfortable. Her nurturing and none stressful vibe is not a talent you can teach and one that every bride wants around her on their special day. Her added perk is that she simple amazing at what she does and has the eye for seeing the best parts of you, your partner and your guests. I also ended up having her husband Mike do the videography for our wedding. Again, this is something that made me incredibly nervous to do. I have gone to other friends weddings and seeing their hired paparazzi following their every move with huge cameras, big mics and these big boom like things…. That was not for me. When I expressed to Idena and Mike my concerns they immediately put all my concerns to rest. They like to capture every moment themselves to make for a better picture and/or story later. None of our guest even knew we were making a video and the mics were tiny. Besides marry my husband, having Idena and Mike capture all the incredible moments, most of which I forgot about (you’re in a fog the day of your wedding)) was truly the best decision I made that day. I am so incredibly grateful to have this powerhouse of talent that captured our day!
