I had hired a professional seamstress to take the measurements before I ordered my custom-size dress. When I submitted them to ieie, there was a question on the measurement form: ...
"Did you leave finger space in the measurements for movement and comfort?" The seamstress entered this reply: "No, measurements are exact body size. No ease added. Please add no more than 1 inch ease (maximum) for bodice."
When the dress arrived, I could fit into it, but only by exhaling completely first. On closer examination and after communicating with Wendy at ieie, we found that the dress had been made with little to *no* ease added, meaning that the dress was constructed to be the exact same size as me (no room for breathing).
At first, Wendy said that my problem was a normal one; even custom-size dresses need some final alterations for the perfect fit. But after consulting with the local seamstress who had helped with my measurements, I concluded that making a structured garment like a wedding dress *exactly* the same size as the person is not correct dress-making procedure. The tailors at the company should have adjusted the numbers to achieve a *correct* fit, which might have still needed alteration for a *perfect* fit.
When I relayed this to Wendy, she agreed to give me a partial refund which helps to cover the cost of the alterations which the local seamstress is completing for me. After all the communication, receiving the refund was a great help to my wedding budget and enabled me to update this review to a more favorable one! Thank you, Wendy!
Going forward, it would help provide clarity if ieie would change their form to say: "Be sure to add ___ to [all?] [some?] your measurements to allow for movement and comfort." Or, if they leave it as a Yes or No question, then they should adjust for the correct amount on the numbers when a client has sent exact body measurements. As a lay person (not a seamstress), I would find it easier to submit the exact numbers rather than trying to decide how much to add to what numbers...so maybe the second option should be how it goes...?
Also, ieie only communicates via email, though you can also leave a voicemail. Considering the communication is regarding a very expensive, very important (and sometimes custom-sized or customized) dress, I was surprised that there wasn't an option to talk with anyone about questions or options for customizing, etc. I understand that it's better for record-keeping, but it would be reassuring to brides to be able to discuss possibilities or at least follow up on the phone to be sure the company understands what you want, or has received your email, etc. Just an observation :)
My dress is absolutely lovely, though! I can't wait to wear it in 5 weeks.

ere good and the dress came in months before I needed it. It is the most beautiful dress I have ever seen. It is elegant and gorgeous and the sizing is very accurate and comfortable. I was worried finding a wedding dress would be difficult because I prefer very modest but feminine dresses, but ieie Bridal was a stellar, straightforward experience and I'm very excited to wear the dress on my wedding day!!!

ed for my wedding dress for under $800. They even added pockets! Non-traditional, red, simple, and it fits beautifully (I did get custom sizing). Seriously, people may raise eyebrows when you say you're ordering such an important dress online but you can absolutely trust ieie!!

o you must like it too or we upgraded your lace without telling you because it's a better quality. How can a company take it upon themselves to alter a dress from what the customer orders and think that it's okay. The latest mistake they made the entire top part is see through and their big solution was to offer a $50 credit to their company instead of offering to fix the problem. I would never recommend anyone order from this company due to the stress and frustration it has caused my fiance

nd my dress arrived to my home January 2023. As a petite woman, I struggled to find a wedding dress I felt beautiful in and Wendy created my dream dress to my specific measurements. I highly recommend Wendy about designing your dream dress. Thank you Wendy for your kindness and for helping me feel beautiful my wedding day. Everyone was stunned by my dress and all I could say it was costume made with love IEIE Bridal.

the pictures of a dress I couldn't afford, and turned it into a reality. I cannot say enough good things about the entire experience! She made sure everything was correct regarding the measurements and even clarified some things I wasn't sure on. She made the entire process incredibly easy and as stress-free as possible. She understood that I was working on a budget amd still gave me my dream dress.
I purchased a custom wedding dress from Ieie bridal at the end of January 2021 for my wedding on 30 April 2021. I decided to select a custom dress because I was looking for a dress...
that was fashionable and modest and it was difficult to find both in an off-the-rack dress.
Below are my impressions of working with Ieie Bridal:
Pros
• Custom designed dress that had all the features I was looking for
• Price was comparable or better than other equivalent options
Cons
• Ieie employees did not respond promptly to emails and do not have a phone number
• Responses to inquires were often incomplete
• Fabric samples were delivered late
• Dress was delivered after promised date, with insufficient time for alterations
Overall, while I was satisfied with the quality of my dress, but my experience with the customer service was not a positive one. This was driven by two major problems, a lack of transparency and late deliveries.
One major challenge I had was that Ieie bridal did not provide accurate timelines or give prompt information when I had questions about my order. They have no customer service phone number and emails are the only way to ask questions or get up to date order information. I had to email Ieie bridal more than 8 times about both fabric samples and the status of my dress. On 3 separate occasions they took more than 4 business days to respond. Additionally, the emails didn’t always answer all the questions I had and I found myself having to send a follow up email to answer questions asked in the original.
The second major issue was that every time I needed something to be shipped to me, the shipment was slow. I began the process of customizing the dress in November 2020, but they delayed the shipping of the fabric samples until January and we weren’t able finalize the materials and measurements until the last week of January. This lack of prompt delivery carried over into the receiving the dress as well. We agreed twice by email that the dress should arrive in early April, but the dress actually arrived on 20 April 2021, which is not early April by any definition. Receiving the dress only 10 days before my wedding left me scrambling to do final alterations to the dress before the wedding day. Ieie bridal did not provide any financial compensation for this and furthermore did not even offer an apology for delivering late.
While other customers will potentially have different experiences than me, I hope my story provides some perspective on selecting this company to provide a custom bridal dress.

ecific. I had to send my dress back because the material didn’t match my skin tone, the zipper was messed up, and I wanted to add more detail. I ended up paying more for the dress than I wanted and had to also pay to ship it back to the salon. Shipping was outside the original window given. We were super close to my wedding date upon return and i was nervous as all the other reviews on communication were stellar but for some reason I had a different experience. I didn’t receive pictures until requested on my end and only after the dress was returned the first time. The dress return would have been avoided had the vendor communicated with me the changes that needed to be made.
Overall, I was satisfied with how my dress turned out. Upon return everything I asked for was applied and I loved every detail. I just wish my experience was more personalized and communication was better.
I got a custom dress from them via Etsy and I couldn't have imagined a more perfect dress

sy and found ieie Bridal and their amazing selection of dresses. I spotted my perfect dress pretty quickly and knew that it was the one. While ordering from an online wedding dress seller was nerve-wracking, it all melted away once my dress arrived. It was exactly what I wanted and fit me well. I received numerous compliments throughout my wedding day and felt gorgeous in my ieie Bridal dress. I highly recommend their dresses!

g, beautiful product, and accessible price point. I highly recommend for those looking for a classic, simple, long veil.
Don’t use these people. Their communication starts out well and the dresses look so pretty and retro and glamorous. Their dresses are cheaply made with awful fabric and unnecessary...
linings and terrible seam-work. Their “customized” dresses are nothing like the sketch you have to pay for and god help you if you complain. It takes weeks and weeks to get a refund, and you barely get your money back while they ignore your emails and deny what you are unhappy about. You will end up paying hundreds for a dress you would buy your niece in the dress-up section of Target, and that is AFTER the “refund”.... if you get one.
I looked at different veils at the bridal salon where I had purchased my gown from; however, they were super expensive! I also wanted cathedral length so that you could see the de...
tails of my dress through the veil, so that meant they’d be starting at $500. I was on a budget so couldn’t justify spending that much on an accessory. I visited ieie bridal’s website and saw the extensive selection of veils they offered. It also made me feel better knowing that they were right in Jersey City, NJ! (which is my neighboring town) I am generally worried about ordering online, nevermind it being for the most important day of my life, so their return policies seemed good enough to take the chance. I was so happy I did! The veil had a lace trim that matched EXACTLY to the lace on my dress (talk about luck!) and it was beautifully made. Best part – I paid 80% less than I would’ve paid at any bridal salon!
I fell in love with a dress I could not but had to have. I sent Wendy photos of that dress along with another dress and asked her to combine them and make my dream dress. She came ...
through yall and made me a one of a kind custom gown. I have not stopped receiving compliments on my dress. It was definitely a show stopper.
I was looking everywhere for a pale blue wedding dress and stumbled across Ieie Bridal on Etsy. I found one that caught my eye as stunning and originally was going to customize it....
Their customer service was super helpful with very good feedback about the practical aspects of my maybe changes (in this case how adding sleeved might limit my ability to move, which I tested later trying on other wedding dresses) and I actually ended up just buying the original design. It was absolutely gorgeous and shockingly comfortable. Very well made dress and so reasonably priced. I got compliments all night on my dress. I very much plan to wear it again, maybe as Cinderella for Halloween or by getting some fairy wings or something and going to the Renaissance Faire
I can 't rave enough about how fantastic this dress is! I used this petticoat underneath for the ceremony and pictures: http://a.co/d/1oocWRn (It looks big but is very light and ad...
ds a little ventilation in the summer! :P) I then removed the petticoat and bustled the dress for the rest of the day. I also can't recommend getting it custom fit enough. It will be a huge savings in alterations, as well as less stress. You'll feel so good putting on your dress that already fits you perfectly. The bustier I wore underneath gave me a little extra boost, but I could've gone without it, since the bodice is very well-made. This dress is quality and elegance the whole way through.
Good customer service
I ordered my veil from Ieie's on Etsy and it was both beautiful and a great price.

cked. I can't thank Wendy enough for the excellent quality and fitting for my dress. I will always recommend all brides to IEIE Bridal. I was willing to pay over $3000 for the perfect dress, which I had trouble finding it for quite some time luckily I found the perfect dress and it was so affordable without sacrificing quality.

e to my custom measurements and they even made some other customizations to the waist by adding in snow camo for me at no additional charge. So affordable and so perfect to get a vintage style dress for our rustic/country themed wedding.
Ieie Bridal was the perfect online shop to purchase my vintage inspired wedding dress.
Wendy was a pleasure to work with. She was able to accommodate my request for extra applique ...
and tulle. The dress was stunning and truly something unique that you could not find elsewhere. The construction and fabrication of the dress were phenomenal and still can’t believe that the costs were so reasonable. I highly recommend working with ieie bridal for your wedding needs.

t of my price range. After discussing custom options with Ieie Bridal, I went for it.
Like most brides, I was hesitant to order my wedding dress online. I had fears of not being able to try it on, and the price seemed to good to be true. But the owner, Wendy, was wonderful to work with and put me at ease. The process was straightforward and she checked in along the way to make sure things were progressing how I wanted.
When the dress arrived, I was blown away by how beautiful it was and how well it fit me. I got my perfect dress for half the price of the so-so dress in the boutique. Many thanks to Ieie Bridal for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day!
Everyone raised a brow when I told them I ordered my dress off Etsy, but I HATED everything in the stores and they were all so expensive. I took my own measurements, using Wendy's ...
instructions, and sent them in Fortunately, when they didn't look right, Wendy messaged me and I remeasured the arms. The only alterations I had done were to have the hem raised, which was my fault. The dress was PERFECT and a fraction of the cost. I got soooooo many compliments and the pictures looked beautiful.
I just received my dress yesterday, and it's more gorgeous than I could've imagined!! I'm going to be 6 months pregnant when I walk down the isle and it's the PERFECT sillouhette. ...
And the price!?! WOW! Just wow. It's nice to see someone who doesn't take brides and their money for granted and just purely loves making them feel beautiful. Wendy was also great, since I'm pregnant I had to guess what my size would be by that time and she was helpful in telling me how to get measurements and she dealt with a boggled, neurotic minded bride trying to make sure it's perfect so kudos to Wendy lol.
Wendy was great at responding to my emails, and walking me through everything. The dress was precisely made to my size. It was gorgeous! I felt so beautiful. Our wedding guests did...
not stop saying how gorgeous I looked. The compliment of the night was that I looked like a Disney princess.

oes custom work, so I emailed her what I wanted and my price range and very quickly she responded that she could do both. It took a little over 2 months which was fine because I wasn't in a huge rush. I got my measurements done by a seamstress and did a few on my own. I purposely did my measurements a tiny bit bigger, so I can get it altered and even with the measurements a bit bigger it is perfect! My alterations will be minimal. My next formal event I will absolutely work with Wendy and her team again. With every question or concern, she responded quickly and kindly. I am beyond happy.

bridal! I always imagined my wedding dress as non-traditional, and definitely had a vision in mind. After contacting ieie bridal, it was super easy, even with my busy, non-stop life to collaborate and create the perfect custom wedding dress. Wendy was very accommodating, and after a few conversations it was so great to be able to not worry about my wedding dress. When it arrived, I was stunned; the dress was absolutely perfect! I almost can't believe that I can tell people I have an actual custom wedding dress, in my exact vision. The price was very affordable, too. For this type of dress anywhere else, I'd have to pay at least $1,000.00--that definitely wasn't the case at ieie bridal! I'd recommend this bridal shop to anyone. 5/5

sissippi and never found a dress that was quite right. I found many that I liked, and even one or two I thought would be "the one". But I am so glad I found ieiebrial.com before I made a purchase I would regret. The dress arrived last night and it is flawless. Extraordinary quality, beauty, and detail... I can't get enough!! My bridal photos were supposed to be outside, but I moved them to a luxe hotel in the area because the dress was so much more elegant that I could have expected. Wendy was fabulous, and I will never be able to thank her enough for giving me my dream dress for probably 1/4 of what I would have found it for at a local boutique. Ordering online can be scary but there is nothing to fear with this company.
Don't make the mistake of buying from this shop like we did! My daughter ordered her wedding dress from Ieie. When it arrived, the sleeves were way too small. We contacted IEIE ...
and they had us re-measure her arms. The measurements were correct and matched what we had originally sent. So IEIE told us they would send new sleeves but we would have to find someone to put them on the dress. When the new sleeves arrived, the lace on them didn't even match the dress! It was cheaper and whiter lace. Plus, the sleeves were still too small. So we couldn't use the new sleeves. Ieie didn't care about fixing their mistake. I guess they figured they got their money, so it didn't matter to them if she didn't have a wedding dress to wear. This shop really knows how to ruin a big part of a bride's big day!
IEIE Bridal did such a wonderful job with my wedding dress! I requested a replica of a designer dress and they were able to fins lace appliques that were similar to the designer ve...

ess than 1 month to go until my big day, so I asked Ieie's if it was possible for them to custom size the dress since I am 4 feet, 11 inches tall. To my surprise they were able to deliver my request. even earlier than I had expected. All my expectations plus some were met, and Ieie's seem to be very professional.

ss and the bottom of another. I explained what I wanted to Wendy and they were able to make it happen! It looks exactly how I want it to! I was very concerned about buying a dress online because I didn't know how it would fit, but the dress fits perfectly! They made it exactly to the measurements I sent them. I am amazed that I can get a custom made dress at such a low price! I couldn't be happier with the whole process and the result!
