to make sure that the DJ came with awesome lighting and knew how to blend the music together so it wasn’t just playing to the end every time or cutting out at the best parts. He delivered 5 stars on all fronts! Everyone at my wedding raved about how good the DJ was and how well mixed the genres were (for reference we did a lot of Latin pop, norteños, reggaeton, duranguense, and had to mix it with American pop, 80’s music, some rock, and american dance music.) ur planning process. Our guests could not stop dancing the whole night. He knew how to read everyone's energy levels perfectly, and played songs to match. Now, a week later, our guests are STILL telling us how great they thought our DJ was.
The DJ can really make or break your event, so I highly suggest you work with Ian at IGB entertainment! You will not be disappointed, I promise! You also hear many horror stories about how DJs don't play a single song the couple asks them to play or can't get people to stay on the dance floor and we happily had neither issue! Ian played all of the songs we asked him to play, mixed them all in so they had a danceable beat, and really knew how to keep the party going until the last minute!
Ian is very professional, on time, detail oriented, and he always has such a fun, upbeat attitude. More importantly, you can tell how committed Ian is to his music. He is so creative, and even though we made some rather unique requests of him throughout, he rose to the occasion, and exceeded our expectations every single time. Thank you for everything, Ian! He was easy to communicate with leading up to the big day, and very respectful and professional on the day of. He was even kind enough to wait for us to have our private last dance when our guests were taking a very long time to leave the ballroom. matched our very demanding wedding crowd. He came to our meetings prepared and really impressed me personally. As an engineer that spent some time in the broadcast engineering space, I understood what makes a competent sound guy. He actually stated that his #1 job was to play the music and themes selected by the bride & groom as well as keeping the dance floor full at all times. We selected the music for the wedding from two separate playlists – the primary list from the bride and groom and the secondary one from me (the FOB). He used the primary list and complemented it with songs from the secondary playlist that we shared with him using Spotify. Ian is constantly paying attention to the dance floor to make sure that the music is compatible with the crowd. He demonstrated his professionalism throughout the night. We are very pleased with Ian's work and dedication. Everyone loved his work. I would hire him again without any hesitation!
