This team handmakes each cake and detail from scratch, from their Belgian chocolate ganache to their realistic sugar flowers, for a visually stunning dessert. Owner Tim has over 30 years of experience in the baking world and has created wedding cakes for hundreds of couples throughout his career. He started his career as a home baker before opening up his own storefront. After moving to San Diego, he returned to his home-baking roots and has been giving clients delicious works of art ever since. Tim is happy to work for couples throughout the state, whether they're planning an intimate gathering or large, lavish reception. Igotyourcake can design their cakes to fit an array of aesthetics, from classically elegant to glamorous and detailed. On your big day, he and his team will take care of delivery and setup to ensure that your dessert display looks as delicious as it tastes.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Tim is THE guy to make your cake if you want delicious and beautiful cake as well as excellent quality and service! I knew from our first convo that we were going to be pleased with his work but we were over the moon at the final product! As an aspiring small wedding/event planner and Type A detail-oriented personality who just planned and executed my own 40-people wedding in Vista, Tim was wonderful to work with! He was bubbly, attentive, responsive, super fun and warm, and INCREDIBLY talented! Perfectly executed our vision for the cake and the lemon and vanilla were to die for! People were asking for pieces to take home but they were all gone! His hand-made sugar flowers looked EXACTLY like our flower arrangements- unbelievably talented this man is! Do not look any further if you’re looking for cake that will make your taste buds super happy AND look beautiful!! Thank you so much Tim for making our special day that much better!

I received THE BEST and most BEAUTIFUL wedding cake I could ever ask for thanks to Tim Black and Igotyourcake!!! Tim was by far the easiest wedding vendor to work with that we encountered throughout the wedding planning process. He is unbelievably responsive and prompt, and always happy to answer questions. Even more importantly though, it is clear that he is PASSIONATE about what he does and puts so much energy, attention, and joy into the cake making process. I am thoroughly impressed by him and his beautiful artistic skills, and I couldn't recommend Igotyourcake more highly! If you want a seamless experience as well as OUTSTANDING results, look no further than Igotyourcake!

My wife and I feel so lucky to have found Tim, not only is he a master baker (one taste of his cake and you’ll have a heavenly, out of body experience) but he also is a master artist who sculpted us a gorgeous cake that was the talk of our wedding! Who knew such beautiful things could be sculpted out of sugar! He was extremely helpful in pinpointing what we needed as we only had a vague idea of what we wanted. He walked us through all the details, presenting many options and recommendations and made the experience of choosing the right cake an absolute breeze. If you were debating on who to call for your baking needs, look no further as Tim’s gotyourcake … and a perfect one, at that.

Tim was absolutely AMAZING to work with. He brought our vision to life. He listened to our needs and planned our cake according to our theme. Not only was our cake beautiful, it tasted soooooo good! Our guests could not stop talking about it. The cake itself was so moist and delicious. And the frosting...Holy cow! Unbelievable! I want to get married again just so I can have another wedding cake by Igotyourcake! Thank you Tim! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Igotyourcake. Truly made our day so special. I've always been fascinated with wedding cakes and how to make them. For the past 30 plus years I've enjoyed creating wedding cakes for hundreds of wonderful clients. I find the creation of cakes both challenging and fulfilling. I can't think of anything I would rather be doing.
