Wedding planning can be tough and over whelming. When we hired Victor and his team we knew based on their experience and questions being asked during the planning meetings we were in good hands and this was one less, but huge part of the night we did not have to worry about. Victor was a great MC that ensured the night went as planned and was able to execute everything how we imagined.

If you're searching for a DJ and you have stumbled across this review, look no further! Going with another DJ would be an absolute mistake. Victor made our wedding absolutely phenomenal. He is super professional, punctual, amazing energy, great communication from the time you have a consultation all the way up to after the event. I told my now husband I want to redo this whole thing just for the amazing experience we had! We've already started recommending IKSounds to people who may ever need a DJ. Victor read the room and was able to always get the crowd going, play the perfect songs to set the moods and just did an amazing job.

Victor was amazing to work with. He was very informative and made the whole process very easy. He was in constant communication with us. IK Sounds’ website was easy to use and helped take a ton of stress off our shoulders throughout the whole planning process. 10/10 would recommend and would definitely hire IK Sounds Entertainment again for any special event.

When planning our wedding, a DJ who was friendly, easygoing, and would understand the vibe we wanted, was incredibly important to us. We knew we had songs that we wanted played during certain parts of the wedding but we weren't sure if we would be able to tailor our experience to fit our style and find someone who could engage the many guests of all ages at our wedding.
We had been in contact with a couple of DJs and met with another before meeting Victor. Our other options seemed fine, but when we met with Victor, he instantly helped ease all of our concerns and got us excited for the planning process. There was a noticeable difference in energy and excitement we were drawn to. We immediately loved his easygoing confidence that assured us that everything would be awesome and he would have it all taken care of. He was so great at explaining the different packages/add-ons as well different activities like bouquet toss, shoe game, garter toss (and enthusiastically re-explaining things to us when we forgot throughout the planning process lol) that you can choose to add to your evening festivities.
On the day of the wedding, Victor (along with Vladimir who was also so friendly and professional!) executed everything without a hitch. The music/entertainment, lighting, dancing on the clouds, cold and hand sparklers, photo wall (and more!) went so perfectly I didn’t have to think about it. Victor has a great eye for reading and engaging the crowd, as all of our guests were up and dancing throughout the night.
We had a mix of older songs and newer songs that we wanted played to appeal to our guests of all ages. Victor was great at deciding when songs should be played and all of our guests were so pleased with the music. He blended our requested songs with some other songs/transition songs perfectly to fit our vibe. Our older guests were dancing, our younger guests were dancing, everyone was happy. I even got a comment about how people were barely on their phones throughout the night as everyone was really present throughout the night.
Victor offers so many customizations to your experience that can be edited through his website forms which are super easy to use. On the forms, you can really tailor your experience by editing the timeline, adding activities and songs you want played, and so on. But if you are unsure about what you want, Victor can help guide you through the process and talk about the different options that you may want for your wedding. I liked being able to keep track of our music selections, timeline, and activities for the night. Victor is super meticulous so anything you write on there he will follow!
We changed our minds a lot throughout the process and Victor was so accommodating of that. We decided rather last minute that we didn’t want to do the dancing on the clouds for the first dance, but still wanted to use them. Victor suggested we use them during the mother-son dance as everyone else joined in and we thought it was a great idea and everyone was able to enjoy them. There was even some left for our cake cutting and I think it ended up looking so lovely. Another example is when, about ten minutes before I was supposed to throw my bouquet, I decided to give it to my mom. I was second-guessing my decision last minute, but Victor gave me a little pep talk in that moment and helped assure me in my decision to give it to my mom, which I am really glad I did because it was something I had been thinking about doing for a while and in the moment it just felt like the right thing to do. I was very grateful for Victor’s assuredness and confidence in that moment, as it was just what I needed.
Unrelated, but I also really enjoyed Victor’s suit jacket that he wore, as it was black and sparkly, which I thought looked super cool.

Victor was one of the best finds during our wedding planning process. From the moment we met him over zoom to start planning we knew that he was special and that both our wedding and reception were in incredibly capable hands. Victor has such an incredible personality and it’s very evident that he absolutely loves what he does. His communication and planning resources made music selection easy. His flexibility upon discovering that our ceremony was going to be moved due to rain was so deeply appreciated as we communicated the change of plans just the day before our wedding. We also got the uplighting package for our reception tent and it was so worth the money and became part of our ceremony lighting too. On the day, Victor (and Wilson) were ready to go, kept things sounding gorgeous and running smoothly. I will never stop recommending him to anyone looking for a DJ. Thank you so, so much!

Victor was the DJ at my bridal shower and was absolutely amazing. He kept the party going and made sure everyone was having a great time. He followed our requests that we had established during a meeting prior to the event but also put his own twist on the event based on crowd's response. He was also very responsive to music requests on the day of the event. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ for my bridal shower! Go book him now!

KSounds went above our expectations for my daughter's bridal shower. The DJ, Victor, answered all our emails prior to the event and even set up a video conference meeting so that we can could go over all details. On the day of the event, he played our requested songs and got all our guests on their feet and dancing. Multiple guests commented on how good the DJ was and how he really made it fun. He was also very flexible regarding our timeline and some of the other planned activities we had that day. I would definitely contract him again for future events and recommend his services.

Victor was our DJ for our wedding on
June 8, 2024. Prior to the wedding he touched base with us multiple times to go over songs, timelines, any questions, etc. He was so helpful in even what questions we needed to double check with the venue with a memorial video we were showing. Day of wedding ....well do to unforseen circumstances we were delayed an hour even with all of that, Victor made sure to still keep us on schedule, kept touching base with my husband and I and still keep the party live.
He had EVERYONE on the dance floor, older, younger, friends, family. We had such a good time; we wish we had more time. There was nothing more we could have asked for, he went over and beyond. We coundn't recommend him enough. If you need a DJ , Victor is who you are looking for.

My husband and I recently had our wedding on April 4th, 2024, and unfortunately, our experience with IK Sounds Entertainment, particularly our DJ/MC Victor, was far from satisfactory. Here are the significant issues we encountered:
1. Poor Song Timing: Victor consistently misjudged the timing of songs, often leading to awkward moments such as playing music long after the appropriate cues had passed, disrupting the flow of our ceremony and first dance.
2. Lack of Music Knowledge: It was evident that Victor lacked familiarity with the music he played, resulting in cringe-worthy moments like saying “where are all the emos at?” And played Stacy’s mom by the fountain of youth.
3. Inadequate Song Transitions: The lack of smooth transitions between songs was noticeable, with tracks ending abruptly or dragging on for too long, detracting from the overall ambiance of our event.
4. Disregard for Coordination: Despite clear instructions to liaise with our day-of coordinator, Victor repeatedly bypassed her, causing unnecessary distractions for us as the bride and groom and leading to disorganization throughout the event.
5. Failure to Facilitate Activities: Victor's inability to effectively communicate instructions during key moments, such as the picture dash, forced our coordinator to step in, further highlighting his incompetence.
6. Misuse of Equipment: Despite our explicit request and payment for the use of TVs to display guest pictures and our ring tattoo video, Victor failed to utilize this equipment as agreed upon, leaving us feeling shortchanged.
Additionally, the discomfort experienced by our guests. We had a tattoo artists at our wedding and the MC wanted to take pictures. There was a guest who had a tattoo done on her leg that he could have easily taken a picture of but instead waiting for another guest who had a tattoo on her side boob and took a picture of that. The guest felt very uncomfortable.
My father in law asked for a request of a song. It was a love song to his wife. The MC did not announce the message that it was for his wife and just played the song. My father in law couldn’t find his wife in time and they missed the song.
In conclusion, we did not want to write this review because I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but I was left with guilt if I didn’t. Regardless, our wedding day was spectacular but the experience I had with IK Studios Entertainment and Victor's inability to fulfill his role as a competent DJ/MC was not ideal. We hope that by sharing our experience, future couples can make more informed decisions when selecting their wedding entertainment.

ate nights of staying up to make your day perfect, I don't think I could have done anything more to make you happy. Even when you asked me to put 6 songs together for your father and daughter dance, which was an unreasonable mix (slow song mixed into rock mixed into bachata mixed into merengue mixed into reggaeton, lol) and got it off and had the whole dance floor packed. I went above and beyond for everything you wanted me to do. Even though in April, in a snowstorm, you had me and all your guests out freezing by the river, I flawlessly executed every ceremony song you wanted. You are a true example of how it is impossible to make everybody happy and like you. People danced at your wedding from start to end and even screamed to play one more song at the end of the night. If any client is reading this review, if you would like a video copy of this wedding, I will gladly send it to you. I would love for them to see what IKSounds 1 start wedding looks like. Under the contract signed, we are eligible to record and share any footage that took place that night.
Here are the answers to your unsatisfactory feelings. 1) My timing was perfect, and the dance floor was packed. 2) The music knowledge that you said I don't have was all the songs you requested for me to play, lol. 3)I don't agree that my transitions are horrible. Maybe the open weed station that you had at your wedding got to your senses. 4) I executed flawlessly everything your wedding planner requested, what the venue requested, and what we planned. So I have no clue what you are talking about. 5. Disagree again; I did the photo dash and played the song your wedding coordinator requested. It was a simple task and was done. All I had to do was play a song, and you took pictures from table to table. I'm Not sure what else you wanted from a simple photo dash .6)In the venue Rock Island - Sparta, NJ, during the snow storm, they lost power and internet. The loss of power blew my speaker, and I could not display the photo you requested because of the lack of internet in the venue, which was totally out of my control.
I kindly asked the guest that I took a picture of, and they agreed. If they didn't want a picture taken, that guest could have simply said no. And it was not an inappropriate picture.
7) How is it my fault that your father-in-law requested a song to play for his wife and couldn't find his wife to dance with? lool. Wtf. And he did not tell me the intention of the song he requested. Lady, I am not a psychic.
I am actually happy for this 1-star review out of 76 5 stars. It shows my clients that my reviews are legitimate, that IKSounds Entertainment is not flawless with a perfect five stars, and that we are human, and it's impossible to make everyone happy, especially a client like you. It also displays a huge red flag that you are the only person who is unsatisfied with us. I will gladly tell all the entertainment companies to be careful if they get a call from you. And what's weird about all this is that you follow me on Instagram and like all my posts, including your wedding posts, lol. You are that client to watch out for.
Victor is the man!! He was very responsive and was there to help every step of the way. He had all the guests out on the dance floor. My guests absolutely loved him and could not compliment him enough!

Our friends are still talking about how great our DJ was. I’m not kidding - we are all in agreement that Victor is the best DJ any of us have ever seen at a wedding. He is truly amazing. Great energy. Great understanding of the vibe/music we wanted at our wedding. Super interactive with the other vendors and guests at our event (the first thing I overheard our photographer say as we walked into the venue was “what a great DJ!!”). He even led some of the Line-dancing portion of our evening. Top-tier entertainer for sure. I should add that we planned our wedding extremely fast (within 2 months), and he was also super-positive and accommodating with our timeline. You will not regret hiring this man.

DJ Victor far exceeded our expectations from the initial zooms to the actual event day. My husband and I were blown away by his skill, energy and professionalism. He masterfully set the tone/timeline for our wedding. He helped plan our timeline (announcement, dances, etc) and presently it clearly on our own personal portal where you can add your musical selections. His personality and energy is infectious and everyone at the event loved him! He knows how to read the room/work the crowd and pivot to make your event run smooth. With all the planning, he was our best decision!
He also has add on packages like a photo booth. There’s a reason why we chose him after interviewing 10 other DJs prior. The energy, knowledge and communication was clear from the initial call. Thank you so much DJ Victor!

Victor had us on our feet from 1am - 4 am after 2 Country bands played at our wedding reception in Sinop, Mato Grosso Brazil. My wife is from the region and the first half of the party was Sertanejo and Forro music. But the after party crown wanted something different and that's when Victor did his magic. He started with the famous Michel Telo "Ai Se Eu Te Pego" and the rest was history. Mixing songs from recent hip hop to Dancing Queen from Abba to Michael Jackson to line dancing and then conga line dancing. He is a master of his craft. He not only gets the crowd going, HE IS THE CROWD!!!
He brought his equipment to Brazil and was able to make it work. You know it was memorable when people started break dancing in Mato Grosso Brazil. I try not to be bias but it had to the Best Wedding Ever; when you have Brazilian country and American Pop music in one wedding, not only it brings cultures together, it creates unforgettable memories.

My now husband and I began the search for a DJ for our wedding with some trepidation. My husband works in the sound industry and had had some negative experiences in the past with wedding DJs. We got so lucky when we found Victor, he was a dream come true! From our first interactions with him, he was super professional and very open to the visions we had for our big day. He took our plans, wishes, song and genre requests and helped us craft an event that was even more amazing than we were hoping for. My husband and I had some relatively niche music requests along with the more traditional ones and Victor was sure to include those in our reception playlist, timed perfectly to ensure it didn’t lose the crowd. He was well prepared and well organized and his efforts meant there were people on the dance floor all night long. One of my most cherished memories will be our last song where all our guests were on the dance floor dancing around us and we have Victor to thank for that!

I (26) female went on a hunt for a perfect DJ. After reaching out to 74 DJ’s and interviewing 25 of them, Victor stood out the most in price and personality. He was the kindest and most energetic, and he had a very clear and engaging voice. Even though, he was outside our price range, he worked with us to accommodate our budget. Our wedding had a lot of last second changes in plans, but Victor was really accommodating and would change the schedule to whatever we needed. He comes over to the sweetheart table to check in with you once in a while and makes sure that you’re on the same page for the next stage of the reception. Sound system felt very high quality both at the ceremony and the reception. We added cold sparklers and dancing on clouds which both came out great. DJ Victor had a very great and likeable personality. He’s super kind and you can tell he goes above and beyond for his clients. He offers great suggestions with the ordering of events and things that might make your wedding go more smoothly. My husband and I both love Victor as a DJ and as a person. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a perfect DJ.

The most amazing part was he was just as great with all the pre work as he was the day of! We gave him a loose genre of acoustic quartet covers and he found some unreal songs I wouldn’t have even thought of. He played all the songs we said we wanted but also mixed in amazing ones for everyone else.
The best part, a few of the bridesmaids ran to change their shoes and missed most of a song. Victor took note and actually worked the song back into a mashup later in the night, it was so cool.

From start to finish it was a pleasure working with Victor. I think I first reached out via email around 5am and he responded within an hour. Any question we had he answered immediately. When we met with him, we told him the type of music we liked (me 2000s hits and dance and my husband 90s hip hop/ rap) and boy did he deliver. We had the best time dancing with our friends.
We also added in a monogram which came out elegantly and a photo booth. I am biased but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better photo booth. They had so many props, the pictures came out crisp and clear and we had a photo guest book and every page was filled. Even a friend who is a wedding coordinator remarked that she couldn’t believe the book was full (most people don’t leave messages or add their pic) but the attendant who came with Victor delivered and she made sure guests had fun. It was clear in the pictures they did. Thank you Victor!

We hired Victor for our wedding and he was absolutely incredible! From the very beginning, the planning process was a breeze. Victor was very responsive, personable, easy to work with, and he took the time to understand our preferences and made sure the music matched the mood of the evening. He provided us with a planning website to fill out in advance, which helped us specify exactly what we wanted. He was very flexible and accommodating when we needed to make last-minute changes, and he even took the time to make sure name pronunciations were right.
On the day of the wedding, Victor arrived early to set up and made sure everything was in place before the ceremony.
During the reception, Victor truly blew us away. The way he seamlessly mixed in our special request songs was just perfect. Victor was also awesome at reading the crowd and adapting the music to keep everyone having a blast.
In addition to his DJ skills, Victor was also very professional throughout the entire event. He even took care of announcing the wedding party and shoutouts, which really added to the atmosphere and helped everything run smoothly.
We also booked our photo booth with them and it was a huge hit! Gigi did an amazing job of setting up and running the booth, and the props and backdrops they provided were so much fun. Our guests had a great time taking pictures, and the quality of the prints was excellent. They also provided us with a digital copy of all the photos, which is a great keepsake.

When I considered DJs for our 10/8/22 wedding reception, I didn't know how to choose the best one... so I decided to choose based on personality! Victor was so laid back and helpful - he spent a solid 45+ minutes on the phone with me answering questions before I had even booked him. Victor of IKSounds made our 30th wedding anniversary party an event to remember! He spent a generous amount of time with us to prepare for the celebration and made sure we enjoyed ourselves throughout the evening. From our blessing ceremony through to the Last Dance (by Donna Summer, of course), our guests were so impressed with the music. We also signed up for the Photo Booth which was a HUGE success! Nilda was great at encouraging our guests as they signed our scrapbook (well worth getting, also!) with mementos of the evening. We considered getting a photographer for the event, but I seriously doubt any photographer could have captured anything nearly as fun as what went down at the Photo Booth. We had only done zoom calls with Victor and on the day of our wedding it was our first time seeing him in person. Arriving at the venue I was still a bit nervous and overwhelmed with everything to come – but honestly seeing Victor in a great mood and meeting him for the first time really helped me relax and get excited. He has a positive energy and aura that just elevates the vibe and mood of everyone around him.
We put a lot of thought into the songs we wanted played at our wedding and Victor killed it. Some of my favorite moments from our wedding are the songs he played and how he tied them in seamlessly. Iksounds Ent was absolutely amazing to work with! We booked Victor as soon as we saw him at a wedding Expo and knew that we had to work with him. He was very hands on and made planning our music super easy! On the day of he made sure to check in on us and made sure our guests were dancing and having a great time. I can not recommend him more. 10 out of 10!!

My husband and I got married in June 2021 with Victor as our DJ & we are so happy that we did! He was amazing from start to finish. We first met him at a bridal showcase and immediately he seemed so passionate and enthusiastic about what he does, and it shows in his work. He was so efficient.. he met with us on multiple occasions to make sure the ceremony and reception went on perfectly. He even helped us with the timeline and coordinating with the venue so everyone was on the same page, which really make things so much easier for us on the big day. And not only that, but he knows how to get a party going. My guests loved the music and danced all night long. He was fantastic and I would definitely recommend Victor to anyone getting married!

Victor absolutely ROCKED THE HOUSE! He called us the day before our wedding and spent a while with us going through every important detail. He even used a recorder to make sure he was getting the pronunciation of all the names correctly. He arrived sadly and was extremely professional and person personable. We trusted him and let him do his thing, and he completely KILLED it!!!!!!!! Our guest didn’t leave the dance floor and ended the night begging for more!! We give Victor our highest recommendation possible and look forward to using him in the future.

We booked our wedding DJ with very little information. We were engaged just before the pandemic hit and our plans were up in the air until just a few months before our small wedding. We originally wanted a band but they’re expensive and limited. We looked for someone with decent reviews with availability for our (extremely popular) date. Other than that, we crossed our fingers and hoped for the best. We had a brief video chat meeting with our DJ, Victor, prior to the event. I like to think we were generally easy and skipped a lot of the typical wedding formalities. He was pleasant and went through all of our requests to make sure he knew the vibe we were going for. To say that he absolutely killed it would be an understatement. Once the dance floor was officially open, we never stopped dancing.. literally. All of our guests said the same thing. Every time someone wanted to take a break they were pulled back to the floor with the next banger. We had asked Victor to only get involved if the crowd really needed it. He totally respected that but was still very much a part of the party without being intrusive. He checked in with us to make sure requests were approved if he felt iffy about whether we’d be okay with them. Truly, we could have kept going all night. We ended up going out with a group after and it just wasn’t the same without Victor! 10/10 recommend.

Victor was the DJ to our wedding this past weekend and he was amazing! From day one, we were impressed with his responsiveness and attentiveness for all of our requests. Each time we spoke to him, he was very kind and treated us with respect. We had a couple of meetings prior to hash things out and using his website to help plan was also a big help!
At the reception, our friends even spoke to us on how much they liked the DJ. He was in the crowd, hyping everybody up and made sure everybody were having a good time. Highly recommended!

He took the time to review everything multiple times and walked us through the night so we had no worries. The second that we started talking to Victor we got good vibes. He was energetic and a good listener as to what we wanted our night to be like. He was excellent with keeping in communication with us, the website he used for planning our night was a great way to visualize how the night would go, and we had such an amazing time! Victor was excellent!!
First and foremost, his amazing energy through out this whole experience made our wedding extra special. He communicated with us all expectations and planned our playlist for most of the evening. He even remixed our wedding song to make it our own! He provided gorgeous up-lights and an awesome photo-booth with digital copies of all pics of the night. I highly recommend using his services!!

Victor was amazing. Flawless. He made sure to check with me whenever plans were being changed. He played the perfect music for a diverse wedding. He even had my mom on the dance floor and she legit never dances at parties. When he got on the floor with us, we loved it even more. The lighting was beautiful during my first dance, he got all the songs right, and was AMAZING during planning. We’re only booking events with him from here on out!
