We are Il Viale and Bar Americano, an Italian-inspired cafe and bar located in downtown Edmonds, WA, perfect for hosting wedding celebrations. Our space is unique in the way that our cafe and bar are connected through an intimate hallway, linking the two spaces that share aesthetics as well as a passageway.
Inside our space you’ll find an attention to detail from floor to ceiling, featuring tile and reclaimed wood floors, cozy nooks, large bright windows, sexy red mood lighting, a vintage phone booth, and classic signage perfect for a chic backdrop.
The cafe and bar share a sizable outdoor patio with cobblestones, claw-foot bistro tables, plenty of black and white checkered European chairs, greenery, and a large white wall, perfect for projected romantic black and white films.
Bar Americano is a statement all in itself, with a wrap-around curved walk-up bar, leather booths and high tops, bits and pieces of old-world charm including a classic collectable cash register, exposed beams and embossed tin tiles.
Stepping into Il Viale feels like you’ve traveled back in time. Here you’ll find marble counters, another hip, old register on display, and views of the beautiful patio from both sides. Head down the hallway to find the vibey bathroom, and even further to what we call our “cozy nook”, a little secret spot with a fireplace and comfy seating, living-room-style.
