Overall, the wedding went above and beyond what we could've managed and we have Il Villaggio to thank for that. Chris proved to be an exceptional professional, showcasing genuine and standout qualities. He provided prompt and thorough answers to all my inquiries, making the planning process seamless. We secured our date for June 2025, and throughout the year, Chris maintained open communication, offering invaluable recommendations for photography, videography, music, floral arrangements, decoration, limousine services, hotels, and bakeries. His expertise and guidance were instrumental in creating our dream wedding. Chris presented himself with the warmth and familiarity of a long-time friend, always readily available to assist. His exceptional service and gracious demeanor made him an instant friend to us. The wedding package included a cocktail hour that exceeded our expectations. The private room offered an extensive selection of dishes, including cooked seafood, filet mignon tips, and various hors d'oeuvres. We also had the option to choose two stations, opting for a potato bar and an Italian station. The sheer variety and quality of the food were astounding, with many guests expressing that they had never experienced a cocktail hour of this caliber. The dinner entrées were equally impressive, with three options available, including chicken breast, salmon, and filet mignon. Our maître d', Leo, ensured that the food was exceptional, and the chef was prepared to accommodate any special requests. We also included the Venetian hour in our package, which took place during the final hour of the wedding. This extravagant spread featured an array of pastries, including a breathtaking chocolate fondue fountain and a cannoli station. The attention to detail and organization were impeccable, leaving a lasting impression on our guests. My bridal attendant, Angie, provided outstanding service, ensuring that I had everything I needed throughout the evening. The open bar was also a huge success, with friendly bartenders catering to our guests' every request. I highly recommend Il Villaggio as a wedding venue, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Chris. His dedication, expertise, and genuine nature made our wedding planning experience truly unforgettable. Chris graciously allowed us to access the bridal suite from 8 AM to midnight, providing ample time for preparation. Chris is very responsive to emails and phone calls and makes sure to work with the bride and groom to ensure their requests are met. On the day of our wedding, the whole staff was professional and respectful. From our bridal attendant, to the maitre d, to the wait staff and bartenders— they made our night so easy with nothing to worry about on our end! Chris made sure to have all our personal affects displayed in a beautiful way, including personalized bride and groom drinks. Our guests have been telling us that the food for cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert was all phenomenal. I can’t recommend Il Villaggio’s food enough, it is really of the highest quality. They also work with incredible vendors and we were able to find and work with Jenifer Studios, Broderick’s Florist, Danaro Limos, and Mondo Entertainment because they were recommended to us by Il Villaggio. We had such an amazing wedding reception and we owe it all to Il Villaggio! We can’t thank them enough!

ways very welcoming to everyone. Friday August 11, 2023 we had our wedding reception here. We eloped in April and decided to have a family celebration so we met with Chris who handles all of the weddings. Chris and his staff made themselves available whenever we needed anything. To answer questions, aid and assisting hiring vendors, panning menus, decor etc. This is a very well oiled machine that the Owner Ralph has put together. Our guests commented over and over again how elegant the setting is here. Ours was a more intimate crowd of 57 guests, however, they absolutely accommodate large full scale weddings in their grand ballroom which is also very warm and well appointed. Very inviting and elegant. The staff was on target all evening long from the servers, to my bridal attendant Angie, the bartender Steven, the Maitre D Leoand of coarse Chris and Dennis all doing their special part to make us feel like family. Our entire family raved about the food too. We had a five hour continuous cocktail party with vast food choices from around the globe. Aside from what we would love which is a lot of Italian delicacies, we had a Southern Comfort Station and a Havana Station that the guests went crazy for. They added a unique twist with different food choices. Every table we visited the plates were full of different foods everyone was trying. Guests said this was the most unqique selection and they could not decide so they ate as mush as they could have everything. First hour featured a raw bar of oysters, clams and shrimp that were fantastic. Lots of chafing dishes eggplant rollotini, sausage and broccoli rabe, meats, chicken IlVillaggio, pastas, salads, antipasto's, mozzarella, lamb chops, spanakopita, egg rolls, shrimp tempura, coconut shrimp etc. etc. The list seemed endless. The nest four hours were caring stations, homemade pastas, sides, the specialty stations, veal, chicken beef, prime rib you name it. All along keeping the bar flowing. The entire evening of music by Phil and Mary from NY Sound Machine was awesome, the photographer David Miller made sure to capture the festivities, the cake from Callandra's in Fairfield was fresh strawberries and whip cream just delicious! This was a night we and our family and friends will never forget, thank. you for making our dream wedding so perfect from the beginning of the planning process to the end! And we did this in a very short window thanks to Il Villaggio. Photos to follow...

passing Il Villaggio on the highway, you wouldn't really think much of stopping in. I decided to check it out and when I went inside and saw the ballroom, I was in awe. The chandeliers were the one thing that amazed me. The aesthetics of this venue is so classic and timeless. My husband and I had the most magical wedding day at Il Villaggio. Thanks to Chris, Ralph, and everyone in between. I would definitely host other events at this venue.

He was there for us when we had to change our date a couple of times due to the pandemic and nothing could be easier than to work with him to have the wedding of our dreams. Our guests absolutely showered us with compliments about this venue and their food. We are talking high ceilings, magnificent chandeliers, state-of-the-art lights, and oh the food! It was also wonderful that the ballroom had LED lights built in, so we didn’t need to worry about those, either. Patrick was so helpful from the beginning, and it’s obvious he’s a seasoned professional when it comes to weddings. He also truly cares about both the wedding couple and the guests enjoying themselves, and it shows. Il Villaggio does only one event at a time, so the staff was focused entirely on making our event the best it could possibly be. The day of our wedding, the staff regularly checked on us if we needed anything. It also seemed like our guests really liked the waitstaff as well. My husband and I were concerned we wouldn’t get to eat much at the reception, but the staff was already ahead of us. Shortly after we arrived, Gloria brought us a spread of most of the cocktail hour food to eat in the bridal suite. For dinner, we got all three of our chosen entrees, and we were given takeout containers for anything we didn’t finish. The food was all delicious (my husband is still raving about the Little Havana station in particular), and we all really enjoyed ourselves. Il Villaggio provided fantastic value for the money, and the staff is top notch. We’re so grateful to Il Villaggio for helping make our wedding day a success, and we highly recommend them for anyone wanting to hold an event.

With all the stresses of planning a wedding, Il Villiaggio made the process totally easy - from providing all information up front including payment plans, menus for cocktail hour & reception, and table sizes, to suggesting their additional room for the ceremony space AND we even hired The Wedding Boss to be our officiant. After the ceremony, we were ushered upstairs where we feasted on every savory tidbit offered at our cocktail hour (which was wildly appreciated since that was really the only thing we ate all night). From our entrance, to the first dance to the speeches, to the cake cutting, it was the perfect event. The ballroom is absolutely breathtaking with the many beautiful crystal chandeliers, spaced out tables so every guest can get up and move around and a stage where we put the DJ so you have an ample dance floor without tripping over wires or having a speaker next to a table. We worked with Patrick for planning our wedding and it was truly a pleasant experience that exceeded all expectations. Patrick was there every step of the way with attentiveness and patience with every question and concern. The day of the wedding, the staff was tremendously unbelievable. Every single staff member was so considerate to our bridal party, our friends and family, and to us even going as far as to clean and bustle my dress. Patrick sent us a day of email with kind words and even fixed my husband’s bow tie and gave a groomsman suspenders when his broke. There is one server per table which is unheard of at certain venues in NY (where we’re from). I have been flooded with calls and texts about how beautiful the venue was, how amazing and abundant the food was and how fun the party was. All the preferred vendors from the venue we went with and truly every single vendor was amazing and made the experience that much better for us. The food from the venue deserves a whole review just on its own. Everyone kept saying leading up to the wedding that the bride and groom are too busy to eat the day of their wedding, however, the staff made sure we had food and enjoyed ourselves. Every detail was thought of and taken care of from the staff so all my husband and I had to do was just enjoy ourselves. There was nothing we wanted for because everything was even better than we could have imagined. We knew we made the right decision booking at Il Villaggio and I’m so grateful they gave us the most memorable night of our lives. My husband and I didn’t have a wedding coordinator and were more than happy to help us navigate through our planning. In addition, Patrick doubled as our officiant and our guests just loved his spin on the ceremony. My maitre d’ Leo and bridal attendant Wendy were very tentative, accommodating and would make changes to the schedule as the wedding was happening without hesitation. Also, the owner of the venue (I am terribly sorry, I cannot remember his name right now) radiates warmth with his smile and kind voice. These people are amazing. As for the place, this was one of the nicest, most elegant, and just simply amazing places I’ve ever been to. Great food, amazingly high ceilings, spacious ballrooms and main gathering space. Even the lighting setup in the main ballroom just blew my guests away. In addition, the food was phenomenal. There was so much of it and everything was incredibly delicious. Also, and I found this out at the end when I went to gather my belongings the next day, this venue donates centerpieces that are not collected to the nearby nursing home. Too many feels hit my heart. I can’t say enough great things about this place. Thank you so much for making my wedding special and giving my guests the time of their lives.

Richard was very courteous, knowledgeable, and accommodating to us throughout the entire process, and really made booking with Il Villaggio a no-brainer. We had several things to bring to the venue before the reception, including favors for over 180 people, and Richard was a big help in allowing us to do this several days beforehand, even keeping the favors in a cool, dry place (chocolates were included, so this was important). Richard helped coordinate the food tasting as well, and if we weren't already impressed by the ambiance of the venue and professionalism of everyone involved, the food spoke for itself. It is absolutely delicious, and the only regret we have is that we weren't able to taste everything on the night of the reception! Maybe Richard will let us crash a future wedding to sample their cocktail hour… When the big day finally came, Il Villaggio delivered and really lived up to its reputation as a premier venue in New Jersey. Richard, the wait staff, the maître d, the bridal attendant, and everyone else were on top of their games. Everyone had a great time and could not stop praising the food, service, and atmosphere. Everything went so smoothly and we are very appreciative of the professionalism that made it possible. Thanks very much!

16, we shopped 20 different venues but the second we walked into this one- it was different. White glove service from the second you walk in just to shop the venue. Patrick was our go to for everything. He worked with us on all of our needs (especially our food allergies). Our entire engagement we were in constant contact. Anytime I had a question, and emailed Patrick- he answered it in just minutes. The customer service was outstanding. The day of our wedding was perfect, and we owe the party all to Il Villaggio. The room is perfect, tall ceilings, an amazing lighting package (highly recommend), and the food! The food was incredible, every guest of ours still raves about the bar service, the cocktail hour, dinner and venetian hour. Every waiter made sure every drink was always full, every guest was attended to. Ralph and Patrick- thank you so much for everything along the way. You could not have done better!

We had a couple budget constraints, but he was very accommodating & understanding. The best part was that we never felt pressured to go with Il Villaggio. He even gave us pointers during our search & told us that “When you find the right venue, you’ll know.” After that meeting, we knew that Il Villaggio was the one for us & we’re so glad we made that decision. It was exclusive because they only host one wedding at a time, so we had the whole place to ourselves. They have 3 separate rooms so no change over required between cocktail hour and reception. The prices were reasonable. The food selection is great and the food is delicious. Most importantly, the service...from Patrick, who helped us organize everything, to the staff the day of, was outstanding. I highly recommend checking out this venue. It was perfect for us and our guests.

Coming from an Italian background food is key, it better be good and plentiful and Il Villaggio offered just that. We had a full 1.5 hour cocktail, reception, and of course full Venetian hour. We can’t stop hearing how delicious the food and how beautiful our reception was. We are so happy we booked Il Villaggio! We look forward to having our future events there! e first day we walked into the venue it just felt right. Richard was so easy to work with and so accommodating! He made sure he executed every last detail we wanted perfectly. He stayed in contact and always payed close attention to detail. Patrick married us and everyone is raving about how fun and professional the ceremony was. The food was unreal. Our guests haven't stopped messaging and calling us about the cocktail hour and dessert! Everyone has told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to from the ceremony to the food and ambiance. We can't thank Richard, Patrick and their team at the Il Villaggio enough for making our wedding night the absolute best night of our lives!!! I would recommend this venue over and over and over again!! I'm hoping we can attend a wedding there some day so we can enjoy it as guests too � Thank you Richard for the wedding of our dreams and being such a pleasure to plan with!!!
