ILA Penthouse is a stylish wedding venue located in New York, NY. This space features a sleek, modern aesthetic for couples to create their dream day from the ground up. The onsite team promotes economic, social, and environmental sustainability and will work diligently to help you enjoy a memorable, eco-friendly celebration. ILA Penthouse began as a floral design studio with an environment-focused approach. It has since evolved into a versatile venue for soon-to-be-weds to host romantic events. Their main event room offers 4,000 square feet of open floor space to seat up to 100 guests. The simple concrete floor and minimalist decor will act as a blank canvas to bring your nuptial vision to fruition. Large windows will surround you and your guests and provide a bright, airy atmosphere. Next to the Penthouse is the ILA Bar, a more intimate space accommodating up to 30 guests for a seated dinner. A bar area is present in the room for you and your loved ones to enjoy cocktails and other beverages throughout the evening. Couples who prefer a more scenic backdrop will have access to the ILA Gardens rooftop venue. Up to 100 attendees can dine and mingle throughout the night while enjoying a breathtaking view of Midtown Manhattan. They offer an array of in-house services for an inclusive experience including floral decor, bartenders, and in house catering from OnTheMarc Events. Tables, chairs, linens, and dishware will be provided and arranged into any formation you prefer. In addition, the venue also hosts floral workshops, where you and your wedding party can learn how to create stunning, sustainable arrangements. Calvert Crary is the Executive Director of both FlowerSchool New York and FlowerSchool Los Angeles, and author of Flower School: A Practical Guide to the Art of Flower Arranging and the Encyclopedia of Cut Flowers. An internationally recognized instructor and mentor, Calvert has taught programs across the United States, Holland, Mexico and Australia, and was this year’s judge for the prestigious PHS Philadelphia Flower Show. Calvert has trained and coached thousands of students on how to work in the floral industry with top designers, start new businesses, or reorganize existing floral businesses into thriving careers.
