hing feel so much less overwhelming. Her monthly Zoom calls, prompt emails, and attention to detail showed just how organized, thoughtful, and experienced she is. Our wedding day was truly perfect—everything we dreamed of and more. t out the mess and get everything planned in time was a God-send. From the get-go she was super clear, extrmely efficient, and always made us feel certain she had it every last thing under control. I must say, she single-handedly helped pull our dream wedding together in less than 2 months, while also being an absolutely necessary and seamless support system behind the scenes on our wedding day. Not only did I love working with her, but my bridesmaids and family raved about her all wedding weekend coming up to me to specifically point out how “on-top of everything Ilana is” and how “she’s such good energy.” I will be recommending Ilana to every single last person I remotely know it getting married in the future because she’s just that good. I cannot thank her enough for her dedication to our wedding but also respecting and supporting us in our vision every step of the way.

Ilana and her team did such an amazing job with making sure that we didn’t feel the stress at all and were able to enjoy our big day, during the planning and especially day of. Her depth of knowledge from years of industry experience really shone throughout the planning process and really did most of the heavylifting so we didn’t have to. She always followed up with us and was readily available for any questions or doubts I had, no matter how small. Her guidance along the way was incredibly helpful, as it's clear that her expertise is abundant and trustworthy. She knows the industry in and out, and her relationships with many vendors was a tremendous value-add. She really helped us navigate the entire wedding planning process, answering our millions upon millions of questions, all the while coming to each meeting with a bright and bubbly demeanor. If you are debating hiring a planner, let me tell you...it is worth every penny. And Ilana and her team are the absolute best. My family was blown away seeing them in action the day of our wedding -- coordinating with all of our vendors, making sure guests were going to the right place at the right time, etc. They truly made our vision come to life, and the day was everything we could have imagined and more. Thank you Ilana and the Ilana Rubin Events Team! We appreciate you more than you know. xoxo, Lauren & Matt

e is an accomplished business woman who has perfected her skills in wedding planning. She has excellent vendor contacts and resources which are crucial when planning a destination wedding. Ilana’s organizational skills made the process easily manageable as she prioritized what needed to be done and when without it being overwhelming. The team that she assembled on the wedding day to assist her with all aspects of the wedding were fantastic as well. They jumped right in to help wherever it was needed. As the mother of the bride, what I truly appreciated about Ilana is how well she connected with my daughter and how well she could read her mood and anticipate her needs. When the frenetic energy in the bridal suite became a little much, Ilana could see the impact this was having on my daughter and cleared that room. Ilana is sweet and thoughtful and you immediately want to embrace her and make her a part of the family. Ilana, thank you for all you did to make my daughter’s wedding flawless and magnificent. The weekend went by too fast but the memories will last a lifetime!

absolutely incredible and far exceeded our expectations. She is hands down the best decision we made when planning our wedding. My now husband and I knew we wanted a big wedding but were quickly overwhelmed by the daunting task of wedding planning. As soon as we hired Ilana, she took all of our stress and anxiety away. She gave us a few tasks at a time to complete making things very manageable while also keeping us on track and ahead of schedule. We were never once turned down from a vendor because they were already booked for the weekend thanks to Ilana's planning. Ilana gave us multiple vendor suggestions, all of which were amazing. Throughout the planning process Ilana was so quick to answer all texts and emails whether we were 10 months out from the wedding or two days. On our wedding day, Ilana and her staff were incredibly professional and kept our day moving on schedule without any hiccups. Our wedding was easily the best day of our lives and we have Ilana to thank for it!

She was with us every step of the way for the two years of planning we did and it all became worth it last night. Our wedding was beyond our wildest dreams and that was all due to ilana and her teams meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, kindness, and determination. Ilana checked in on me all throughout the day and night and was with us till the very end! Ilana you did an amazing job pulling everything together, making sure we were fed, and making adjustments on the fly as needed. We love you so much, BEST WEDDING EVER!

Ilana took the time to get to know us, understand our personalities, and what was important to us. The result was a wedding that was perfectly us in every way. The entire day was magical, and we have Ilana and her team to thank for that. Ilana was amazing at keeping us on track with our busy lives. Wedding planning can be overwhelming, but Ilana made the process so smooth and enjoyable. She was incredibly organized and detail-oriented, which gave us so much peace of mind. We knew we were in good hands with her throughout the entire process. Without Ilana, we would not have been able to pull off the wedding of our dreams. From start to finish, Ilana was there to guide us through every step of the way. She was always available to answer our questions, offer advice, and make sure everything was running smoothly. Without her, I’m positive that our wedding wouldn’t have been nearly as perfect as it was. Our friends and family who met Ilana at our wedding loved her too! Overall, we cannot recommend Ilana Rubin Events highly enough. Ilana’s passion for what she does, her incredible attention to detail, and her ability to create a wedding that is perfectly tailored to each couple are truly amazing. Thank you, Ilana, for making our wedding day the best day of our lives!

!!

he most magical & beautiful celebration. Her relationships with the best vendors in the area was just incredible. My husband and I are SO thankful we found Ilana! Look to further for the best wedding coordinator!

most enjoyable processes of my career. It is not often that both the Catering and Operations side of a venue can agree, but in this case it was unanimous: working with Ilana Rubin Events was a fantastic, seamless process. From the moment Ilana came into the picture as an Event Planner for one of our recent weddings, things fell into place with an ease that speaks of immense professionalism, experience, and just natural instinct that cannot be taught. Ilana is very clearly doing what she was made for: executing a couples' vision to a tee while working within the logistical framework necessary for a venue to be successful. (A line that not many vendors are able to walk and balance.) I cannot describe enough how rare it is to find a Planner and Coordination team that makes everything EASIER for all involved parties. This is a unicorn sighting and if you had any reservations about moving forward with utilizing her services, please hesitate no longer. You've found the one! And isn't that the whole point of a wedding, anyhow?

ithout a hitch. And, I knew I didn't have to worry about anything because in working with her the months before, I knew she had it covered. Most importantly, every meeting, every discussion was fun. There is always so much to think about and worry about - but you are going to feel good about everything and just feel the joy in working with Perfect The Event. I cannot thank her enough. :)

uined weddings for them, that there's no way any other event can ever live up to this, that it was the wedding of the century, etc. I'm crying as I write this — I can't even begin to explain how grateful I am for the entire Perfect The Event team in making our wildest dreams come true 😭 15/10.

ime together we were extremely impressed with her attention to detail, responsiveness, knowledge of what is important and what is not that important, and overall easiness to work with. There was never an email or text that was not answered within a few hours, never a concern that she did not have a solution for, and during the wedding weekend, never a moment when we felt like the logistics were not being taken care of. Our wedding weekend went by without a hitch, truly not a single time when we felt like things were not going according to plan, and that had so much to do with Ilana and her team. It is clear to us that Ilana loves what she does and genuinely cares about delivering the best day and memories for her couples, and we are truly thankful that we chose to work with her!

s enjoy our special day. We knew that from the start that having someone so knowledgeable and thorough would help us achieve the vision we wanted, but never could we have imagined how everything would turn out. Ilana and her team absolutely knocked every little detail out of the park and left us completely breathless! (And as a bonus all within budget). We absolutely cannot wait to work with her again for our next event just because of how truly magical she made our wedding day feel. Her and her team truly put and embody the "Perfect" in Perfect the Event!

na again just to show up day of the ceremony and take care of everything like she did the first time. All of that is a long-winded way to say, she was great the whole way through but a true champion day of. Absolutely recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Pinterest board, and Ilana was able to set expectations and help bring our vision to life! It was the BEST day ever, and went SO smoothly thanks to her! Would recommend Perfect The Event 100x over!!!!

ID cancellation and truly went above and beyond the contracted “partial planner” services. She calmed us when we were anxious, provided clarity when we were confused and you kept us on track when we got busy. The PTE team is group of professional superheroes and I am truly just lucky to have met them, and that they agreed to work with us. Ilana is an INCREDIBLE force and a beautiful woman. Again, just WOW. You will NEVER regret working with this amazing company.

our event was 8.28.2021, and Ilana was diligent about planning ahead and communicating with all of the involved people and parties so that our event would be PERFECT (redundancy intended!) She worked tirelessly to communicate with our venue, vendors, amidst all kinds of change, challenges and vendors going out of business due to the pandemic. She has brilliant and creative (yet very practical and doable) ideas and insights that she generously shares throughout the process. She is savvy with vendors and contracts and is well respected and loved by everyone in the industry! Ilana has a knack for both the micro and macro elements of an event of this scale in the way that she can execute all of the MANY details while also remaining mindful of the big picture. And she does it all with joy that radiates from the inside out! She was a saving grace for us throughout the process and my husband and I and our families are so grateful. We would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

entire process of planning your wedding so it’s important that you choose wisely, and as soon as possible. I was referred to Ilana through my wedding venue, but I was naturally drawn to her style through the content and images on her website and social media accounts. I was blown away with my initial video call with Ilana, as she went over my budget, vision, design, and provided tips and suggestions all prior to booking her services. Simply put, Ilana is THE best. Ilana designed my wedding and provided all the photo inspiration to help my vendors complete the look and feel I was hoping to achieve. She is extremely efficient with her time and highly organized. She prioritizes your wedding to-do list in order of importance keeping your wedding on track which sets you up for success. She is an excellent communicator and has a fantastic list of preferred vendors she works with. Ilana helped me book all of my vendors for my wedding – she thoroughly vets their available services ensuring that you have the adequate coverage you need and that they meet your preferred style, all while staying in budget. What I found to be extremely helpful is that Ilana will present 2-4 top vendors that are available and in my budget, then allow me to interview them and get to know them. She did all the research, then set me up to make the final decision which saved me time and eliminated any stress. Ilana has creative ideas and solid suggestions that made her that much more valuable to have on my team, especially when it came to personalizing my wedding with small details that I wanted to incorporate. My biggest takeaway is that I trusted Ilana – I knew she fully understood what was important to me and my husband, and she knew our vision for the wedding. I fully trusted her recommendations and suggestions to make our day perfect, and she still exceeded all of our expectations. She puts 110% of her effort and all of her heart into her work, and it shows. On top of all of this, she’s absolutely wonderful to work with. Final Comments: Book Ilana with Perfect The Event – the value you get for the services provided will greatly exceed your expectations. Ilana and her team will go above and beyond to create and execute your dream wedding/event, perfectly.

illa, but I think I was nice along the way, haha. Let me just say that my wedding EXCEEDED ALL my expectations and would not have been possible without Ilana at Perfect the Event. Long post ahead, but the moral of the story is that hiring Ilana and her team at PTE will be the best decision you can make for your wedding planning. If you are hesitant about getting a wedding planner, I HIGHLY recommend doing so and hiring Perfect the Event. Todd and I got engaged back in October 2019 and were originally planning a 120-person wedding in Orange County for Spring 2021. She took us to many venues, always with a smile on her face, and asked all the right questions. After over 15 venue visits, Covid hit and we changed our plans to a 9-person wedding in November, and then finally landed on a 40-person wedding in La Jolla in April 2021 (abiding by all guidelines). As our plans kept changing, Ilana was there every step of the way and very communicative and positive. She was so considerate of pricing and worked with us to downsize, then upsize, and alter our wedding vision several times. She spent so much time with us, and we always felt like a priority, even when we were planning the 9-person wedding. As if this wasn’t enough, the day of took Ilana’s expertise and services to another level. As the bride, I woke up on my wedding day and everything was taken care of. I mean EVERYTHING!! For example, I was looking for my robe and Ilana’s assistant Gabi, saw me looking, read my mind, and handed me my robe in the next minute. Another time, I told a bridesmaid I wished we had more champagne, and Gabi immediately showed up with champagne and lip gloss for a post-sip reapplication. I didn’t even know she heard me. My last example involves my pup Buttercup (a timid but loud little terrier). Buttercup was on-call for a few photos and before I could remind the photographer, Gabi came down the stairs with a happy Buttercup in tow and poop bags tied to her satchel. A true angel. All while I was being treated like a queen, Ilana was working with the vendors and transforming our venue into our dream wedding space. Since Ilana had been in touch with all the vendors, she knew exactly where everything should go and when. She gave a very detailed timeline, and everybody was always on the same page. As with any event, I’m assuming there were may have been a small hiccup during the set-up, but I was aware of NOTHING and had the most relaxing, pleasant, beautiful wedding morning as Ilana and Gabi took care of everything. Their experience and teamwork are so impressive and obvious as they both think ahead and were ready for ANY situation. Also, I may be biased, but our wedding was absolutely stunning and breathtaking. After our wedding, I came back to my hotel room to find everything I left abandoned in the bridal suite neatly folded, packed away, and labeled. Ilana even left our phones out on the table and let us know not to worry about anything being lost. She is SO ORGANIZED and I honestly feel like my wedding would have been a dramatic nightmare without her. I have so many more reasons why you should go through Ilana and Perfect the Event, but I’ll wrap it up here. She is simply PERFECT.

p that soon after we moved out of state. We thought planning a wedding long distance would be impossible but with Ilana’s help everything was so easy. Ilana’s positive personality and professionalism got things done efficiently. Ilana made sure to consistently check in with us and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable as decisions were made for the wedding. Having a COVID wedding is not ideal but Ilana worked with us to figure out all our options. We opted to have our wedding ceremony in June 2020 and postpone our reception to June 2021. Ilana made sure to keep us informed as things quickly changed with openings and closures. We are so thankful and happy that we chose Ilana to be with us on our wedding journey. Postponing our reception allows for us to keep working with Ilana and we could not be more ecstatic about it. Ilana is phenomenal and I thank her for helping me keep my sanity throughout all of this.

lanning a very organized and a total success. Her patience and professionalism is also excellent. Our wedding day went perfect and we couldn’t have done it without her! Thanks for all your help Ilana!

ho could think outside the box; execute the Bride's vision; keep the Bride within budget; and communicate across many different time zones since the wedding was in Newport Beach, the Bride lives in London and I(MOB) am often on the east coast. Perfect The Event delivered in a big way. The wedding was in a word EPIC. And it went so smoothly; beyond anything I could have imagined. Ilana made the planning process fun and stress free. Were there issues? Of course, but they were handled quickly and efficiently. You can not ask for anything more. Now I have to come up with another event so that I can work with Ilana again. Love her and her team. Thank you Perfect the Event for making my daughter's wedding everything she dreamed of!

ocess nearly killed me and I hated every minute of it. I didn't want to approach my wedding day with stress, anxiety, and dread. So, 4 months away from the big day, I got in touch with Perfect the Event, and immediately felt better. They took LOADS of stress off my shoulders and were so incredibly patient with me. If you think you don't need a planner... you do. Trust me, it is worth every penny. I only wish I had been with them since day one! They helped us with invitations, vendor contacts, timeline, decorations... you name it, they do it. They think of things that never would have crossed my mind. Their organization is stellar and made it so easy to know what I had to do and when to get it done. They are superstars in the industry and I cannot recommend them enough. Perfect The Event deserves 10,000,000 out of 10 on the scale and that is the honest truth.

while planning a wedding in southern California. We met with Ilana and immediately clicked. She was so organized, understanding, caring, and truly made the planning process such a personal experience. Each piece of our wedding was such a joint effort where Ilana would take one of our visions or suggest something so custom to us and execute it in an amazing and beautiful way. It really was the wedding of our dreams and Ilana and her team were the biggest part of making that happen. We had 1.5 years to plan and Ilana was so amazing at giving us time to breathe when we needed it, and then reaching out when it was time to start things up again and choose another vendor. She guided us every step of the way and was so responsive to every email, which was so amazing since we had a 9 hour time difference to work with. Every vendor she referred us to was fantastic. I received constant compliments from family and friends about how amazing the food, photography, officiant, flowers, music, design and everything else were, which all the credit goes to Ilana and the relationships she has made with some amazing people in the wedding industry. On our wedding day her whole team was so attentive, helpful, professional, and all around amazing. If you are even slightly considering having a planner, get one and make sure it is Perfect the Event. It was the best wedding decision we made and a huge reason why our wedding day was truly the best day ever for both of us.

response time--within in minutes, sometimes seconds! She quickly set up a skype call with me and Billy to discuss our wedding vision before she provided us proposals for her services. Let me tell you----she was worth EVERY PENNY!! From creating the budget, finding ALL my vendors, designing everything with my vision in mind, detailing every minute of the wedding day, and responding to emails and texts in lightning speed, to say that Ilana is an expert in what she does is an understatement. She made everything extremely easy for me and Billy. She is beyond professional and sincere. Because of her close contact with me and just the loads of support that she has offered and given, I see her as way more than my wedding planner--she is a wonderful and caring friend!
