I originally chose Ilex as our photographer because of her incredible ability to truly capture a moment. Looking through her portfolio, it was clear she didn’t just take beautiful photos, she told stories. There’s something special about an artist who has a vision and the talent to bring it to life, and that was exactly what I was looking for on my wedding day. Ilex far exceeded every expectation I had. Despite being early in her career, she impressed everyone she interacted with through her professionalism and genuine passion for her work. She was fully invested in making our day special, and it showed in every interaction and every photograph. She was with us from start to finish on our wedding day, but her support began long before that during the planning process. She captured so many incredible moments that I’m still going through and finding new favorites weeks later because I love all the photos so much! We even had rain on our wedding day, but it didn’t slow her down for a second. Simply enough, Ilex is an incredible photographer. When my wife and I were searching for a photographer for our wedding, we were lucky enough to stumble upon Ilex’s portfolio. We stopped looking right then, and excitedly rushed to book her for our wedding. From the start, she made the planning process so easy and reassuring. The day of she was fantastic. Not only did she completely boss taking photos and organizing people, but she was so much fun. She was laughing with our guests and dancing at the rehearsal, all the while capturing every moment. Her work speaks for itself. While she has a trained eye for composition and is a master of lighting, her pictures don’t just look good. She is magically able to capture so much emotion and feeling in a photo. She was a big part in making our day a success, and I couldn’t imagine having any other photographer.
