Candie was great! My bridal party was cohesive but she still emphasized their natural features. I felt absolutely beautiful and like an enhanced version of myself. She was a great addition to our getting ready area, making everyone feel comfortable immediately. Most importantly, she kept everyone on time without feeling rushed. I cannot recommend her enough!

They were the absolute best. The crew had such a wonderful vibe with all of the girls. They embraced how wild and weird we all were. Besides them being the best people spend your morning with they did the best work. Candie did everyone’s make up and she absolutely smashed it. She tailored to everyone’s individual look and everyone looked so incredible. They also knocked it out of the park with the hair. My hair specifically was quite the task and Sarah killed it. They were the best vendor I had experienced while planning my wedding. 10/10 recommend.

Candie was an amazing makeup artist! I hired her for my wedding makeup and she did mine, my mothers, and my entire bridal party. She took her time with each one of us and gave each of us the makeup look that was best for our features, the colors of the dresses, etc. During my makeup trial, she referenced my example picture that I provided and asked lots of questions before she started. After the trial, she opened the door for any feedback or changes that I wanted to makeup. On my wedding day, it rained outside during our reception. Our makeup was flawless by the end of the night and we all received so many compliments. I recommend Candie with Illea Bridal to anyone for their big day!!

Candie did an absolutely fabulous job on all the hair and makeup for my wedding! She is very talented! She also worked very quickly even when we ran into a time miscommunication between the photographer. I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking to have their hair or makeup done!

Candie was ABSOLUTELY incredible and professional! I reached out to her for very last minute hair services for my bridesmaid, mom, and mother of the groom for my wedding. She was super quick to respond and jumped on the moving train right away answering all my questions amidst the busyness of wedding planning. On the day of the wedding, she came early to set up and made everyone feel so beautiful/relaxed on a busy morning with a short timeline. I’m so glad we got to connect with her on short notice and had her talent play a crucial role on our special day. I hope to work with her again in the future and cannot recommend her enough!!!

Candie did both my hair and makeup. At first, I was very hesitant because I never had my hair or makeup done professionally before. I was a bit indecisive on what I wanted, but Candie did a great job narrowing down exactly what I wanted. Candie made sure that I felt comfortable and was very easy to talk to. Candie is great at communicating and making individuals feel great with her open-mindedness.

Candie came to my house for my wedding and did my bridesmaids and I’s hair and makeup. She was absolutely incredible and so sweet! I loved hearing some of her stories, and she truly cares for what she does! My hair and makeup made me feel like an absolute queen! I’m so happy she got to play a HUGE role in my wedding day, and made the process so easy! Because of her I felt and looked flawless!! I would 1000% recommend!!!

Candie did my hair and makeup for my wedding in September as well as hair and makeup for some of my bridal party. She did an amazing job and I could not be more happy with the outcome. When I was searching for someone to do my bridal hair and makeup I had a hard time getting clear and straight answers or responses at all from other places I inquired into, but the communication with Illea bridal was always prompt, clear and professional. I elected to do the trial so that I could see if I could achieve the look that I had in my head for my wedding day, and she took her time at the trial to make sure she built the look that I was hoping for, so when the day came to have it done again for my wedding day, worrying if I would like the way I looked was never a worry. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Candie did my makeup for my best friend’s wedding a few years ago, and now she did my bridal makeup for my own wedding this past weekend! She did a fabulous job on my trial, took my notes in consideration, and did an even better job the day of! Definitely recommend, and already have to a friend who is getting married in October!!

My name is Candie Renee. I am a professional makeup artist and the owner of Illea Bridal. A lot of people in my chair ask me how I got started in makeup. In high school I began singing and acting in the theater and then studied vocal performance at OU School of Music. This led me to a career in Germany where I sang opera for four years. It was really during this time that I fell in love with the transformation process of makeup. I began freelancing doing makeup professionally since 2014. Ask me anything you would like to know.
