Illini Union & Hotel

The Illini Union and Hotel is a gorgeous wedding venue located near the University of Illinois in Springfield, IL. Owned by the University of Illinois, the hotel has been in service for over 80 years since opening its doors in 1941. The Illini Union welcomes you to plan your dream wedding ceremony and reception at the historic hotel grounds. With space for up to 500 guests, the large banquet hall will comfortably seat your friends and family as they soak in the wedding party atmosphere. After digesting several delicious courses, you may proceed to the rustic ballroom for a night of music and dancing. The Illini Union and Hotel catering team will provide a bartender and servers for the reception, along with china, flatware, glassware, and linens. The vast parking lot allows for guest parking and yields wheelchair-accessible access points. Tables, chairs, audio equipment, and lighting will also be available.
