e time as a wedding planner and from the first wedding I worked with them I knew I wanted them to be our DJ for our own wedding! Not only does Rafael kill it with the music (as we danced the entire night!!) but lighting.. oh.. my... gosh!!! I let him run with it because I knew he would be able to capture what our vision was. When we walked in the reception that night I was in complete aw of it! Rafael is a genius! Not only is he amazing at what he does but he is the nicest person ever. It is a honor to call him a friend as well!!! Thank you so much Rafael and Larry! You truly made our big day a dream and I will never be able to thank you enough for all that you did!!!

ur right music style and mix, to the lighting choices, photobooth addition (a big hit!), and the professionalism of the onsite team, we never had to worry for a single second about anything that was under their control. The music for the night was spot-on, they were accommodating to our requests, and they kept the night going strong. I quite literally can't recommend Illuminating Celebrations highly enough; they are a must-hire!

he MC to be outgoing, and we had several guests complain that they never knew about cake being served or our macaroni and cheese bar that came out later in the night. I'm not sure if they didn't announce it or if it just wasn't announced loudly enough. I was so busy I truly didn't pay attention. Also, I would have liked if the music had been mixed up more. It seemed that each genre was played solely by itself before moving onto the next genre. Overall though, they did a good job.

All of our friends and family were dancing and anyone who had specific requests (as long as it didn't violate my "no" list) were played. My 75 year old grandma who is all but 4'11" and 90lbs was fist pumping!
They ran into some issues with the venue and lighting up the place, but they made it happen for me. The lighting totally makes the reception. I also didn't have a monogram or any idea how it should look. Rafael went above and beyond to create one for me. I got so many compliments from all my guests for the design. Thank you, Illuminating Celebrations!!!
