I have no words to express my gratitude to Chelsea and her team! My daughter’s wedding was everything and more we could have imagined. Chelsea was amazing at coordinating everything before, the day off and after the wedding, which allowed us to enjoy to the max.

There are not enough stars to give Chelsea and her team!!! We are so lucky to have had Illumination Events Studio a part of our special day. There was not one detail that Chelsea did not perfect! Having such a great team was so calming to us, and we knew that no matter what, it would be handled. Provided ample planning materials and support documents leading up to wedding. Worked amazingly with our local Richmond vendors (and even recommended our AMAZING florist when we were desperate to find a good affordable option!!). Completed a quick and simple rehearsal. On the day of wedding Chelsea & team arrived very early and managed the day perfectly. We even had a major ceremony space issue caused by venue and Chelsea literally saved the day with quick problem solving. She was with me and fluffed my dress before walking down the aisle and made the moment special before my big walk :) Chelsea is fun, kind, bubbly, organized, and brilliant. Chelsea is a clipboard-carrying hero. Our plans had to drastically change at the last minute, causing a scramble to totally replan everything in just a couple months. Chelsea knocked it out of the park. She took it all in stride and was able to help transfer our vision (aka the wedding she had already been helping us plan) to a completely different venue, number of guests, and date. She handled everything with the absolute best energy, making what could have been a super stressful situation into a non-issue. Every meeting with her was a blast. Chelsea and her team at Illumination Events are amazing! We had four zoom calls with Chelsea in the months leading up to our wedding, and she was so prepared for every one of them, with a checklist of the most important things for us to tackle. We were planning from another state, so her input was super important, and she was spot on! The day of went SO smoothly and stress free. A possibly stressful dress rip of mine was fixed thanks to Chelsea's sewing skills - good as new! In addition to their amazing work on all of the technical parts of our wedding, Chelsea and her team are kind, encouraging, and fun people. We would absolutely recommend this event planning service!

We couldn't have had nearly as special a day as we did without Chelsea and her team. My husband and I worked with Chelsea Moring and when I say this woman is worth her weight in gold, I mean it. I’d give her all the stars if I could. Both of us are active duty and we’re actively deployed during the planning process and she went above and beyond to make sure we were able to make zoom calls work from three different countries all at once. She kept us on track while we were busy and forgetful about wedding requirements. Day of, she and the team coordinated the most perfect day, I’d almost believe she could control the weather too with how beautiful everything turned out. I truly do not have enough good words about her and this company, they really helped bring to life a day full of memories that will last a lifetime!

Chelsea and her team are AMAZING. I do not know what we would have done without their support and planning. We worked with Illumination Events Studio starting 60 days out from our wedding date and had their services the day of the wedding, and Chelsea and Erika kept us so calm and organized during the crunch time leading up to the wedding and throughout the day. The illuminations team is amazing. They were my day of wedding coordinators and did an amazing job. I worked mainly with Chelsea and Jasmine and they were incredible. They kept everything organized, on track, and honestly, once I started working with them my stress went away because I knew they were professionals. They kept me on track, gave me ideas, and helped decorate my wedding. I am not a details person and they were. Words really can't express how beautiful my wedding turned out because of these people. I would highly suggest to anyone to use this team and if you are still on the fence about a day of coordinator they are worth every penny. Honestly, if I could go back I would change most of my other vendors and have them plan my wedding fully.

Chelsea and her team were nothing short of amazing. When my photographer canceled on myself 48 hours from our wedding. Chelsea was right there setting up my fill in photographer insuring they would be there ready to go. They completely decorated my venue better than I could envision. I provided 3-4 inspiration pictures and they were able to create the mood/ theme I was hoping for . She and her staff were always positive, upbeat, efficient and right there with the answers when I was feeling overwhelmed and over my head. She helped me plan one of the most important days of my life and executed the event with grace and elegance. I sincerely want to thank Chelsea and Ellie for making my dream event come to life.

Chelsea and her team were absolutely awesome! She came recommended and included with our venue as a day of coordinator but did so much more than that and it was so helpful to have her for questions leading up to our big day. Chelsea and her team are amazing! They are so enthusiastic and their hard work means that your wedding day will be as low stress as possible! I am not a creative person, I literally brought some fairy lights and was like "can we use these??' and they did a great job finding a spot for them. They spruced up our reception more than I could have ever done. They were able to accommodate our request to have our ceremony on a dock, and I honestly didn't think it was going to be doable. Everything was perfect and I can't thank Chelsea and her team enough for everything.

Chelsea is THE ABSOLUTE BEST. HIRE HER! We were looking for a Day Of Coordinator to help our backyard wedding at our home run smoothly, and not only did she immediately “get” our vision and become a cheerleader for our less-than-conventional wedding, she knew every single thing to ask us before it would even pop into our minds. Chelsea is diligent, detailed, thorough, but also patient and kind and supportive! After a few months of wedding planning we decided to upgrade our wedding package with her to Day Of Plus, and truly one of the only regrets on my wedding day is that we didn’t go all-in with her Planning package too. She is worth every penny and then some! I know she would’ve added tremendous value had we made that decision early on. And if I haven’t said it enough, she is JOY to work with. She exudes energy and charisma, while also being calm and collected. She doesn’t let her stress show, always has a huge smile and an encouraging word for you, and she does it all while juggling 1,000 things. Multiple people before and during the wedding came up to me and told me how wonderful Chelsea was – HIRE HER! It will be the best vendor decision you make. We are SO GRATEFUL that Chelsea and Pretlow were a part of our wedding day!

I can't say enough good things about Chelsea and Rhema at Illumination Events. We had a wedding date in January but my husband and I both got COVID just 6 days before the wedding and had to postpone it. I called Chelsea after our tests came back and she immediately started working to get the date changed. She called and spoke to our venue so fast that by the time I called them, they already two potential new dates for us. She then took care of reaching out to all of our vendors once we picked a new date to confirm that they were able to change as well. With the date change, she was unable to be at the wedding anymore and connected me with Rhema, who was just as wonderful. Between the two of them, they helped us create a dream wedding! I know they will do the same for anyone who works with them.

There is not enough that I can say about how amazing Chelsea is. I was not someone who had dreamed of my wedding, had no idea where to begin, and just felt overwhelmed about the whole process. Finding Chelsea and getting the partial planning package was the best decision I made during the whole process. She broke down what my fiancé and I needed to do each month so that we were not overloaded closer to the wedding. She explained everything, gave her valuable input when needed (which was a lot), and also helped with obtaining vendors and pulling the vision together. After the RSVPs for my wedding went out, we all found out about Omicron. The next few weeks were very stressful as we figured out how to go forward with the wedding and with things changing daily. Chelsea was available with advice every step of the way and also always there with an encouraging text that somehow was exactly what I needed to hear at that moment. Our wedding weekend ended up different than we originally thought, but more perfect and amazing than we could have ever imagined. I was relaxed the whole time because I knew I was in such capable hands and everything went flawlessly. Chelsea coordinated with all of our great vendors and was the only person I had to talk to at the reception when a question came up. I didn’t realize how important that would be to me, but I definitely could not have enjoyed the party as much if I had to worry about timeline or talking to different vendors. Again, I could not recommend Chelsea and Illumination Events more!

Illumination studios is by far the best company you can have for your wedding planning adventure! If you’re looking for a wedding planner or day of coordinator you must go through them! Words can not describe how amazing they were up until the very last second of our day!

Illumination Events Studio was on the preferred vendors list of our venue and we knew we were going to need, at the least A Day of Coordinator. We called IES and spoke with Chelsea and immediately could feel her passion and positive energy over the phone. Due to COVID we did started with phone calls, texts and emails. We didn't get to meet Chelsea in person until our walk through at our venue. She brought the same Passion and Positive Energy with her! She made suggestions and asked questions we had not thought of. When our wedding weekend came, she and her staff were THE BEST! We didn't have to worry about anything and they did such a great job with the decorations and making the whole day run smooth! WE can not express our gratitude enough in words and we HIGHLY recommend Chelsea and Illumination Events Studio for any wedding or party planning you might have!!

Chelsea was a dream to work with. We hired Chelsea for the last three months of our wedding planning. She helped us wrap up everything. I couldn't have imagined doing this without her. She was quite literally a text away. She was very responsive via text message and email. She contacted all our vendors and pulled them all together. I did not hear from her on our wedding day all but once. I was blown away. All the previous weddings I have been in, they had been texting their planner all day regarding issues. If there were any issues, I still do not know of them to this day. Chelsea and her team were the most amazing people to work for. It was worth every penny to have that type of security on a day I worked so hard to plan. The IES team went so above and beyond to make our day magical! Every step of the way, Chelsea was there to answer our questions, get us organized, and make sure our day was perfect. We have never met a team that is so passionate about what they do and providing the most top quality service as IES! Prior to the wedding, we booked a design consultation at our venue and were given so many beautiful ideas to make our vision come to life including craft ideas, rental shops in our area, a floor plan, and a rain plan. At the wedding, Chelsea and her team set everything up even more beautiful than we had imagined! They were amazing at contacting everyone, checking on us, making sure everyone had what they needed, and making sure the event went smoothly so that we didn't have to worry about a thing! We cannot thank the IES team enough for their help, passion, excitement, and incredible skillset in making our day magical! This is the best team we've ever worked with and are recommending them to anyone who wants a stellar event!

Chelsea is knowledgeable, super responsive and extremely helpful. We purchased the Full Day of Wedding Coordination and could not have been more pleased. Chelsea's team handled every detail; nothing for us to worry about on the wedding day. I highly recommend Illumination Events Studio. I couldn't recommend her more highly, she had multiple meetings and phone calls with me, came up with an entire day of schedule, and overall was just a breath of fresh air among all the wedding chaos!

One of our best decisions we made for our wedding was hiring Illumination Events for our wedding coordinator! Chelsea and her team were absolutely AMAZING and we cannot say enough good things about them. Leading up to our wedding day, Chelsea was always professional, organized, helpful and enthusiastic for our wedding. We had our walk through at the venue a couple of months before the wedding day and Chelsea gave us great advice to think about – things that I never would have thought about on a wedding day and gave us time to plan ahead. Chelsea was in constant communication and coordinated the timeline for the day with our many other vendors, all while getting our opinion and giving us realistic expectations. Chelsea was very respectful of any decision if we chose to go in a different direction. Chelsea was always quick to respond to every email, text or call regardless of the day or time. As the wedding came day closer, we had a need to adjust timing of getting ready with hair and makeup vendors. Within 20 minutes of contacting Chelsea about the issue, she got in contact with our vendors and figured out a new plan that would work with our timing. I was so impressed at how Chelsea stopped everything to immediately help me. On the day of our wedding, I don’t think Chelsea and her team stopped once for themselves, always had a positive attitude, and was always making sure everything was running smoothy. We brought in a lot of décor items ourselves and Chelsea and her team put them all together exactly how I wished (including her assistant hand-picking up an outrageous number of petals from the ceremony ground). Chelsea checked in on us throughout the wedding day to see if we needed anything but also gave us space to not feel like she was overbearing. When one of the groomsmen’s buttons fell off of his tux right before our ceremony, Chelsea was right there to jump in and sew the button back on with her sewing kit. We are so grateful for the care and attention with which Illumination Events oversaw our wedding. The whole day was flawless and we know that everything ran so smoothly because of Chelsea and her team. We HIGHLY recommend Illumination Events for any wedding or event and know that Chelsea and her team will make it perfect!

Chelsea and team were one of the first vendors we hired for our wedding that was supposed to happen in October 2020. Chelsea had worked on two of my bridesmaid's weddings and they both raved about her. When we moved our date due to COVID, Chelsea let us know that she would stay on with us up until the day of because she had another couple on our new date. Even though she was technically "double booked" Chelsea gave us just as much time and attention as if she would be there the day of. There is absolutely NO WAY that we would have been able to figure out timeline and logistics without Chelsea. Watching her work out the timeline over a zoom call was seriously MIND BLOWING. She also handled all communication with vendors which was such a weight off my shoulders. The best surprise was that Chelsea was able to attend our rehearsal even though she had attended another rehearsal the same day. The rest of the Illumination Team that was sent the day of the wedding was absolutely incredible as well. Our ceremony was outside and it started to rain right before we were supposed to start. The team make quick pivots and were able to do so without stressing my husband or I out. They also saved all our cocktail hour food from the torrential downpour that happened even though that meant the entire team was soaked. During the reception, I was checked on consistently and the team were always available to grab a drink or take care of a request. Timeline adjusts were made in the moment based off how my husband and I were feeling which was great! Both our families were so impressed with Chelsea and team. The next day they commented on how that was the best vendor we could have hired because our day went so smoothly. In short, if you hire Chelsea and Team, your day will be perfect because that's the expectation they set for themselves and they deliver! We couldn't have asked for a more professional, attentive and FUN team for our big day. Thanks Illumination Events Studio! We will never forget what you did for us on our big day!!

The first thing my now husband and I did after getting engaged was hire Chelsea as our wedding planning and it was the best decision we made during the entire planning process! Chelsea is AMAZING and helped with with everything from picking vendors and making timelines to helping us postpone when COVID-19 hit in 2020. The day of our wedding was absolutely perfect and seamless thanks to Chelsea and her fantastic team of ladies helping her. We truly could not have planned the perfect day without her guidance, encouraging words of support and friendship through the entire process. Chelsea, was the first vendor I booked after getting engaged. This was in December of 2018. From that day to the 2 postponements to our finally wedding day; Chelsea was there every single step of the way with calming words, advice, kindness and a cheery smile. Chelsea has a fix for everything! You cannot phase her with any problem, she is ready for all while calming you down. Her and her team made my wedding day completely stress free. As well as the weeks leading up to our big day she made sure every plan with each vendor was taken care of. She went above & beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The entire night went smooth and just as planned. Hiring Chelsea was one of the best decisions for our big day.

When my daughter got engaged I didn't think we needed a wedding planner... Thank God she insisted we did and chose Chelsea. The Pandemic hit and we had to postpone, everything got rearranged and the day was seamless. Chelsea was so enthusiastic and easy to work with. She kept us organized and on time without being an annoyance. Her ideas and recommendations could not have been better. I cannot say enough good things about her and her team!

Chelsea was EXCELLENT, and truly made my wedding day the best day of my life. There are so [sooo] many details to remember and manage, and it's a huge stress off of me to have someone to hand them off to. Chelsea thought of all the little details; she corresponded with and directed all our vendors; and she kept a smile on the whole time. Her enthusiasm throughout my wedding process made it fun and, honestly and truly, stress-free for me. I don't know if I'd be able to pull that off without a wedding planner. Highly recommended! Chelsea is awesome!
