for my son and his wife's wedding reception. They're actual wedding ceremony was in the Philippines in January. I knew I wanted to have a reception for them when we returned, but had no idea of what I wanted. My focus was truly on the trip and wedding out of the country. Leyna graciously said she would hold the date for our reception here. Upon my return to MN, I was ill for 2 weeks. So, in a very short time frame, she helped me decide on lighting and decor for the event. She listened to my requests/concerns and offered her own good suggestions. The already beautiful room was made even more beautiful with the cafe lighting. We used a portion of a wall to hang a lighted curtain to use as a backdrop for photos of the bride & groom and guests. We received many compliments on the room from the guests. Leyna took care of some last minute details that arose so that I didn't have to (ex. short on tablecloths, extra table in the room). She also communicated well with the community center manager. This was my first time hiring a decorator for an event. If I had to do one again, I wouldn't hesitate to call Leyna. She was great!
