Founder Ivonne Mendoza is the daughter of an artist and has creativity flowing through her veins. She has sought out the beauty in everything that surrounds her since childhood. Working with MAC Cosmetics in 2004 allowed Ivonne to grow her skills and knowledge in the hair and makeup industry. As her experience grew, so too did her business. The I.M Artistry studio honors Ivonne's youth by resembling an art gallery worthy of the works of art that are the nearly weds she caters to.
Newlyweds can avail of a selection of services at I.M Artistry. Makeup trials are offered to serve as a practice run before the big day, ensuring the ideal look is achieved. Various packages are available to cater to each unique need, with options to include the wedding party, mother of honor, and more. I.M Artistry provides makeup lessons, including the basics to create your wedding day look. Group lessons are also available, which is ideal for you and your wedding party during pre-wedding celebrations.

Ivonne and team are 5 stars! Their services are professional, beautiful, and all-encompassing. What I also loved about my experience is that they were super transparent about timing, pricing, ideas, and overall great at communication. (the price in my review was for many people's services, not just mine) I knew that on the day of, I did NOT need to worry about hair and makeup. As someone who doesnt wear a lot of makeup, I recommend letting the team here "do their thing" -- I was glammed up, but still felt and looked like me but wedding edition. Women-owed and ran and they truly put in the extra effort to make a bride and party feel special. Very reasonable too for travel costs, etc.

A premiere experience to say the least! I am so happy I booked I.M Artistry for my October 2024 wedding. With only a few inspiration photos, Angie made my dream hairstyle come to life. Pre-wedding coordination was prompt and professional. My hair is naturally curly and tends to have a mind of its own, but Angie knew her products in and out and used what would guarantee the style to last all day and night. I could not recommend I.M Artistry more! The service was worth every penny!

I could not recommend I.M. Artistry more!! Alex did my hair for a trial and on my wedding day this past September. She was flexible, kind, and detail-oriented. She was a lot of fun to work with and helped make my wedding day so special!! She was accommodating to any changes or requests and I could not have been happier with how my wedding hair turned out. Ivonne with I.M. Artistry did a great job to help coordinate everything and was quick to reply and answer any questions I had. Would highly recommend I.M. Artistry!!

The care and attention that went into my hair and makeup services would be enough to convince me to rehire these ladies for any event I have in the future. But the care and attention they also put into my bridesmaids' looks made my day even easier. Most of my bridesmaids had some bad past experiences with people doing their hair and makeup, and every single one of them said how beautiful they felt and how easy it was to collaborate with the artists. Angie and Angela listened to each woman's concerns and created looks that elevated their natural beauty without making them feel like they are looking at a stranger in the mirror.
Creating my looks couldn't have been easier. They took my Pinterest inspiration, and created something I was happy with on the first try. I felt so beautiful and my pictures came out exactly as I had imagined. Thank you so much for making my wedding day so easy and making me feel like the bride I imagined in my head.
Ivonne and her team are consummate professionals - caring, responsive, kind, and so positive! They made me and my bridesmaids feel pampered, and stayed true to my vision of naturally elevated makeup/beauty. They made each of us look and feel like movie stars! It was so nice going into my wedding day confident, feeling so glamorous. All of the pre-wedding and post-wedding touches make the process so smooth - including a bridal trial, touch up kits for the day of, and follow up about the experience. I love that Ivonne, Shawna and Serena spoke with me afterward and featured their amazing work on social media! I'm so happy with my wedding day look -- the whole experience was truly magical.

I.M Artistry did a wonderful job! They were easy to communicate with and very accommodating to traveling to the venue and did not only my make up but all my bridesmaids, and my mom’s make-up! They did a beautiful job! All my ladies looked outstanding! We had both Shawna and Mayra, who were both very sweet! Shawna did my make up and she really listened to what I wanted and brought it to fruition! I felt so special on my wedding day! Also I cried so many times on my wedding day and my make up lasted the entire day!

I found Ivonne and I.M. Artistry via the way of our coordinator, and I couldn’t be happier that I chose to use her for my wedding day hair and makeup! Despite it only being me (the bride) who needed hair and makeup services (we didn’t have a bridal party), Ivonne and her team were enthusiastic about the opportunity nonetheless, and made me feel special! I was so appreciative of the hair and makeup trial, providing me the opportunity to share my style vision with Lorna and Ivonne ahead of the big day. We ended up changing a few things related to my hair updo from the trial to the wedding day, and Lorna was so receptive and understanding of the overall look I was going for and it turned out perfect! There are not enough words to describe how talented Ivonne is at makeup! I was thrilled to have her as my makeup artist and she truly has a gift at making you feel beautiful in your own skin! The makeup was flawless and so perfectly me while being special enough for a special day! I felt that the travel fees for our venue (2 hours outside of Seattle) were reasonable and they were absolutely professional and ahead of schedule all morning! I would recommend I.M. Artistry to anyone who is seeking hair and makeup artists for any special occasion!

It was a dream working with Ivonne. I’m one of those brides who would be late to her own funeral (by accident, of course), but Ivonne was super patient with me. Admittedly, the pressure got to me when I was trying to hire an HMUA for the wedding, but Ivonne talked me down from the ledge and won my business. This was an excellent decision, since I was treated like royalty by Ivonne and her team.
My HMUA, Myra, was extremely talented and so sweet. I felt like I could talk to her about anything! I ended up changing my dress, and my mind about which hairstyle I wanted on my wedding day; Myra recreated the picture I showed her beautifully. I had my hair and makeup done along with my mom and the mother of the groom, and we all looked the best we ever have!
My wedding was a day I will always remember, and Ivonne and Myra helped to make it beautiful. Thank you so much - we are so grateful for your work!

Where do I even begin!! Ivonne and her team brought my hair & makeup vision to life effortlessly and with such grace. Their kindness and knowledge were clear from the first email all the way through sitting in their chair on the morning of my wedding. I have never in my life felt more beautiful. I am quite picky when it comes to hair and makeup, and they made it all come together so so so perfectly. I need to find more excuses to get all dressed up so I can hire them again!! Ivonne and her entire team are absolutely wonderful! Not only do they bring a wonderfully relaxing energy to your getting ready space but they work absolute magic! I used her for a more natural dewy courthouse look and then a more signature glam for my “big” wedding and each look was stunning and immaculate. Highly recommend and will use again and again for any makeup needs!
