I recognize this is for weddings, but just wanted to ensure couples know what they’re in for. I was excited for Geneva to take photos of my family for our annual photos. Unfortunately the photos turned out horribly, most photos you couldn’t even see our faces, just our profiles. I specifically booked a woman of color to ensure my family would be well lit, but in many of the photos my husband can be barely seen. I reached out to retake the photos and she only offered a booking months away. We’ve taken photos every year at the same time and now we’ve missed this year due to Geneva.

It was a pleasure working with Geneva to capture our wedding day! We reached out to her because we were impressed by the portfolio on her webpage. Geneva made sure to ask a lot of thoughtful questions about who should be in portraits, when during our event that portraits should be taken, and what our priorities were for candid pictures throughout the night. We got over 700 high quality and beautiful pictures back about 4 weeks after our wedding. Geneva captured everyone at our reception and all of our important moments from that night. We highly recommend her!

I am not a picture person. I have to take 316 pics just to get one food one lol. Geneva worked her magic and captured great shots. ! I felt comfortable and she provided great direction!

Geneva is the most personable and amazing photographer around! She knows exactly how to make you feel comfortable to make you and your significant other feel and look amazing! She even had patience and experience to get some great photos with my four young step kids for the engagement shoot and wedding! Love everything about my photos and I highly recommend Images By Geneva!!

We had to reschedule our shoot no less than three times due to social distancing guidelines surrounding Corona that affected hair and makeup appts, and Geneva was extremely flexible and understanding each time we requested to reschedule. She was always easy to contact leading up to the shoot and provided a very thorough checklist about what to expect on the day of. She also has a really good eye for photography. One of the locations were chose to shoot in was a canal in Georgetown. Unbeknownst to us, the canal had dried up so there was no water for the background of our pictures. However, when we received the final edits, we couldn’t even tell that the water was missing! The shots came out beautifully. Highly recommend!
