tire process. I went into wedding planning without a super strict budget, but definitely with a frugal mindset, and within a few weeks of planning, I fell in love with a venue that took up about 75% of the budget I had originally given them. Somehow, they made it work. They never made me feel ridiculous for wanting what I wanted, and instead helped me figure out where we could be thoughtful, flexible, and creative so that we could still have the wedding we envisioned. They helped us book venue tours, a shuttle for guests, coordinate our tasting, keep track of deadlines, communicate with vendors, cancel vendors when plans changed, and find and book new vendors when I had another idea. And I had A LOT of ideas. My plans changed constantly!  Genuinely, it felt like every single week I was coming to them with something new, changing my mind about something, adding something, removing something, or completely rethinking a plan we had already made. They rolled with every single change and always found a way to accommodate what I wanted without ever making me feel difficult or like I was creating extra work for them. Every silly, weird, overly specific, or completely random question I sent their way was answered with so much patience, kindness, clarity, and genuine enthusiasm. They never made me feel as if I was bothering them, even if I sent them multiple back to back emails.  More than anything, Ankita and Carina took every little idea floating around in my head including the ones that changed approximately five minutes later and somehow turned it into a wedding that felt completely like us. And then came the actual wedding day. I genuinely could not believe how little I had to do. They handled the decorations, vendor coordination, timing, logistics, and all of the million little things happening behind the scenes while still somehow checking in on me to make sure I had water, asking if I needed anything, and making sure I had a chance to breathe and enjoy myself. They were also readily available for us and our vendors throughout the entire wedding!  The wedding was PERFECT. We had guests literally write “10/10 wedding” in our guest book, and throughout the night and afterward, so many people told us how relaxed, seamless, and fun everything felt and that it was one of the best weddings they had ever attended. Hearing that meant so much to us, because that effortless feeling was exactly what Ankita and Carina created. Our guests got to have fun, and most importantly, WE got to have fun. After more than a year of planning, I thought I would spend the wedding day noticing every little detail or worrying about what needed to happen next. Instead, I got to be completely present and enjoy marrying my husband. That is probably the greatest gift a wedding planner can give you. Ankita and Carina didn’t just help us plan a wedding. They took our vision, our budget, our endless questions, my constantly evolving ideas and weekly plan changes, and turned all of it into one of the happiest and most perfect days of our lives. If you’re considering working with them, do it. Five stars really doesn’t feel like enough!
