s to finalize the other wedding details. They’re well connected in DC so finding vendors was easy and we were able to finalize our vendor contracts within a few months. Eddie and his team were in constant contact with us for over a year and we scheduled a minimum of one call per month to ensure everything was timely, which it always. IMPACT was also extremely responsive and addressed our concerns at all hours of the day even for things that were not pressing. Eddie also handled all the matters in the days and weeks leading up to the wedding weekend, so we only handled minor details ourselves – which was already stressful so I couldn’t imagine having to do any more than that. The day of the wedding, he was incredibly helpful, coordinated all communications with the venue and vendors, and ensured everything ran timely and smoothly – it did. IMPACT Collective was the first wedding expense we made and easily one of the best. I highly recommend IMPACT for couples getting married and looking for a team that will really cater to you as a couple and work to make your wedding vision a reality.

We hired Eddie as a month of coordinator for our daughter's wedding in March. We had a very mixed experience working with him. For planning he was great, for coordination, well, he...
didn't. He was supposed to reach out to each vendor 30 days out to introduce himself and begin coordination. He didn't reach out to a single vendor. I ended up doing all of the timeline, planning and last minute coordination with the vendors. On the wedding day, this caused a lack of coordination for set up and carry through resulting in confusion and unnecessary disorganization. He also disappeared for about 2 hours and missed the bouquet toss. The venue staff and other vendors really stepped up and helped out but we were really disappointed in Eddie's coordination performance.

For the wedding ceremony and reception we worked with Kadzo West, who handled everything with incredible attention to detail. The planning and decision making process can be stressful but on the actual wedding weekend we felt calm and were able to be fully present due to our complete trust in Kadzo. We really valued how honest and direct she was when providing her expertise on vendors, event flow, decor, and working with the venue. This is exactly what you want in a planner.
Every single vendor that she recommended exceeded our expectations. She also truly understood our vision even when we couldn’t articulate it very well. For example, we were unsure of the floral arrangements and she intuitively understood what we were going for and brought it to life.
Kadzo made great recommendations for our decor which she flagged during our venue walkthrough which added a much better aesthetic for our ceremony. She took care of everything and went above and beyond. Kadzo acts with true professionalism in every manner.
For our Mehendi (Henna) night, we worked with Ali Talwar and Anna Miller. Ali did a great job connecting us with our catering, DJ, and henna artists. She also gave us great recommendations for decor that helped us save money for the DIY event. In the leadup to the event, we worked with the awesome Anna Miller.
This event had many moving parts and Anna executed it flawlessly. As someone with an eye for decor (she has a photography background), she took all of our decorations and set them up on her own. She has a natural talent for creating a cohesive and elevated aesthetic. She also went the extra mile and overdelivered. We had a backdrop display where the frame was too small. Anna was kind enough to bring her own and set it up for us.
The logistics she took care of and her incredible responsiveness to emails, texts, and last minute questions made the event seamless. She was always one step ahead and anticipating our needs we didn’t even realize we had. Anna was fun to work with and has a great energy.
If anyone is questioning whether they should hire this team as wedding planners, there is no need to hesitate. From start to finish, they advocated for us, kept everything on track, and most importantly - made the greatest weekend of our lives truly everything we dreamed of and more.

s as a little girl, knew I had to make our wedding day the best and most special day! I, being somewhat a control freak/perfectionist knew I had to hire someone or a team that understood our vision, and end wedding goals for that very big day! Enter Impact Collective, referred as a top vendor on The Knot, and after reading reviews and interviewing with many Wedding Planning/Coordinating companies landed the most personable and informative zoom calls we’ve had with Eddie Fam who would eventually introduce us to Anna, our stellar Month of Planner! From the start, and both my husband’s and Eddie’s passion for music, and my immediate bond with Anna through the earlier phases of this process, my mind was put at ease the final months leading up to our wedding. I knew that things would be perfect! It was going to be a glorious event! While we only used the team for Month of Coordination, the access to Eddie and Anna at any time of day/evening, through the many ad-hoc brainstorming zoom calls we had, and the many texts and calls exchanged was above and beyond what I thought this relationship would be! I could be teetering on the edge of insanity and needing a “talk off the ledge” motivation or a simple run through and feedback of ideas we had for the reception and Anna and Eddie were there in any type of wedding weather. Ultimately, for me, I couldn’t say more great things about Anna. I told my mother and husband multiple times how impressed I was with the manner in which she took the reigns coming on top of vendor emails the month leading up to the wedding, almost acting as my “non attorney spokesperson” during walk throughs, and on Friday, the day before our wedding and Saturday, our wedding day, I couldn’t have felt more comfortable being completely disconnected from my cell phone and any other distractions knowing Anna had things in order. She was the captain of the ship that day and I would t have had it any other way! Running around to our bridal suite, the grooms suite, checking in on me via text if needed, relaying things through my bridesmaids to convey to me, helping keep us on track with our day of timeline, and then even perhaps getting us back on track when we were starting to stray from the very rigid wedding day timeline, going above and beyond, taking the rolling cart from Hotel Burg we’d packed with items to transfer to the wedding venue, and ultimately just being our greatest support for the most important day in both mine and Justin’s lives is beyond what words can convey. Eddie and Anna are truly a dream team and we wouldn’t want it any other way! If you’re lucky enough to work with these two, you’ve hit the jackpot and we can’t thank Anna and Eddie enough for the special connections we’ve made with you both, both only as professionals but as new friends. we didn’t know how to navigate. She had a long list of incredible vendors that she could personally vouch for, and she contacted all of those vendors to make sure they understood what we wanted in our wedding. She was able to get us a couple of great deals with different vendors and it was amazing having one point of contact with everyone moving forward. There wasn’t a single time that I felt overwhelmed with all of the moving pieces of a wedding because Kadzo was taking care of it all.
On our wedding day, I can honestly say that I have no idea what all happened behind the scenes because Kadzo handled it all so well. If there were any snags or mishaps I still don’t know what they were. I was able to completely enjoy the day and see how it all came together without being worried about anything. Multiple times Kadzo told me that she wasn’t worried about anything for our wedding and she was just excited which really helped calm my nerves.
Throughout the entire process Kadzo knew what needed to be done and when it needed to be done by so I didn’t miss any deadlines. She was incredibly professional but what I find more important is how kind she was the entire time. Meeting with her felt like talking to a friend who really did care about our event. I know that Impact does so many weddings every year, but it really felt like we were the only focus and had as much time dedicated to us as we needed.
We also got to meet with Eddie a couple of times throughout the process. As the owner, he was very invested in how the planning was going and made it very clear that he was always available if we felt like anything could be going better or we just felt like telling him how things were going. It really felt like we had access to an entire team.
I will always recommend Impact Collective to anyone looking for event planning services. We felt so taken care of for the entire planning process and literally could not have had our wedding day without all of their knowledge, help, and support.

We didn't need to worry about finding or vetting vendors, Kadzo just simply sent us lists of ones she knew were good and we picked from there. She scheduled all our venue tours, tastings, and even took care of the final walk-through when we couldn't get out of work. She not only kept us on budget, but easily saved us thousands of dollars with her venue and catering selections.
On the day of the wedding, us, our parents, and our wedding party enjoyed a stress free and fun day! All we had to do was show up and have fun. Kadzo and her assistant set up all the decor, cleaned up at the end of the night, coordinated all the vendors, and even called a shuttle to come drop off a missing phone without needing to worry my husband & I at all. We had such a positive experience with IMPACT Collective, they are absolutely worth the price! Their service pays for itself!

priced venue + catering pair that we never would have found on our own. This was followed by detailed checklists and regular meetings to ensure all preparations were happening in timely fashion. She has extensive experience with a big network of vendors, which really helped the selection process. In the months leading up to the wedding, she contacted and coordinate between all these vendors, saving us a lot of time and stress. All of this was done while strictly keeping us within our desired budget. On our wedding day itself, we could have sworn Kadzo and her assistant had magic powers. They were on top of every second of the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, picture session, cocktail hour, and reception. They communicated clearly, found people well ahead of when they were needed for things, coordinated setup and takedown, checked on us regularly, and impressively adapted to some last-second requests. We are so, so happy with how our wedding turned out and IMPACT Collective is a huge reason for that.
To anyone deciding whether to hire IMPACT Collective: we want to stress that this service is absolutely worth the price. No matter how much you learn online or from others, it is impossible to go into the wedding planning process knowing everything you need to know. It is likely you will end up overly stressed and/or over budget as unexpected expenses pile on. Kadzo and co. have a lot of expertise and will keep you in budget and stress-free while still planning the wedding of your dreams. When we started planning, we wanted to do a wedding in the Dominican Republic. We went to visit and decided it wasn't for us.
Kadzo and Eddie recommended Playa del Carmen. We went to visit and fell in love with the city and Grand Hyatt hotel there, so we signed contracts and Kadzo began working in earnest. We flew down again, with Kadzo, to experience the space and meet with vendors.
Four months before our scheduled wedding, Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen canceled it due to a rebranding. We were devastated to say the least. Kadzo and Eddie picked us up and dusted us off, treating the cancelation like an emergency.
We took another last minute trip down to the area with Kadzo and, after many hotels, we finally found the one. JW Marriott in Cancun.
Kadzo planned our wedding in about 70 days. Eddie came down to be the days of coordinator and did a fantastic job as well.
I would give them more than five stars if I could.

I particularly appreciated Kadzo's frank and helpful advice on a broad range of wedding-related questions. Impact provided recommendations for all types of vendors, typically with three choices for each type of vendor, and all of the vendors we selected were great. I assume the ones we didn't choose were also top-notch. Importantly, the wedding day ran like clockwork. Kadzo handled everything - dealing with the venue and all of the vendors - so that we could fully enjoy the occasion with no distractions at all. We had a few hiccups getting started, but IMPACT immediately paid off as we had them for the partial planning service but asked to include them reviewing our venue contract.
We had Kadzo, who is literally the best person ever! Helping us plan our wedding for the whole year leading up. She had amazing insight on different vendors, when we were looking at rentals, and was a calm presence even when we didn’t do our homework.
Kadzo was unfortunately not able to be there on the day of our wedding, something we were immediately made aware of when she was assigned as our planner. But Briana and , who worked with us the last few weeks leading up to the wedding were fantastic. They handled everything so smoothly that if there were any hiccups, we didn’t notice at all. We greatly appreciate their help, attention to detail, and support throughout the day. They truly helped us enjoy our day and just be in the moment, and that was amazing for us.
We happily recommend IMPACT to anyone else we know that is looking for a wedding planner. Eddie, Kadzo, and the rest of IMPACT, were so helpful, efficient, and professional. They made the planning process so much easier and we cannot thank them enough for helping us create our dream wedding. king with IMPACT Collective at a wedding at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. From the beginning, Eddie and Ali handled everything related to the ceremony, reception, and guests. They allowed me to focus on the bride and groom and get every image I needed. I have never worked with a more professional team.
Whenever the couple and I needed something, they were there. If guests needed to know the schedule, the location of the bathroom, or a location for a private moment, they were there. You can’t ask for a better wedding coordinator. As I always say, the photographers and the wedding coordinators are the first to arrive and the last ones to leave. Eddie and IMPACT Collective are among the best.
For any brides reading my review, you should give IMPACT Collective a call and book their services. They will make your wedding perfect.

ere 15 minutes apart. IMPACT Collective did an amazing job coordinating, setting up, and taking down everything.
IMPACT Collective can 110% be trusted with your biggest day (we hired them as our Month of Coordinator). Eddie (the owner) is fantastic and has a great staff. He ran our initial consult meeting and really listened to our plans, our needs, and our concerns. It took that one meeting to know that we trust his team to help us across the finish line. While Eddie handed things off to our Planner, he still attended some of our meetings in the lead up and maintained awareness of the status of everything.
Anna was our amazing planner. I cannot say enough good things about her. She became a trusted resource to ask questions and bounce ideas off. She attended our venue walk through and held numerous virtual meetings with us. I knew very quickly that Anna would make sure our vision came to life. We had the ceremony and reception at two different places about 15 minutes away, which added to the complexity. Anna was with me (the Bride) and running things at the church while her assistant Shawna started the setup of the reception. Everything ran smoothly and the reception set up was beautiful. Also, Shawna and her sewing kit came in handy when my husband stepped on my dress midway through the reception, and I needed to be quickly sewn back in. At the end of the night, the decorations and our personal items (plus the extra cake) were quickly added to my parents’ car. Overall, they made everything seamless.
I will also note that Linda and Sharmaine did a great job of finalizing the Run of Show (the document that contains literally everything, everyone, and the timeline). We were still finalizing specifics the week of, but they were extremely patience and quickly incorporated the information into the plans when we had them finalized.
Eddie, Anna, Shawna, All – thank you so much for being a part of our day. It almost feels like a wonderful dream.

Here are a few reasons we loved working with IMPACT Collective:
1. Eddie and Kadzo made wedding planning fun - we were able to focus our time on the decisions we cared about (e.g., choosing a florist), knowing that the other details (e.g., alignment with vendors, timeline sequencing, hotel blocks) were taken care of.
2. They made our wildest ideas possible. Our dream food provider didn't offer full service catering, so Eddie and Kadzo found a team who would help fill in the gaps. Our dream DJ was flying in from Toronto and could only bring his laptop, so Eddie and Kadzo found a sound system team that worked with our DJ and our unique reception venue to bring the sound to life. We never had to compromise on the things we cared about.
3. They helped us do things our way. We had an Indian wedding, but wanted to incorporate many components that broke the traditional mold. Eddie, Kadzo, and the IMPACT Collective team have so many different cross-cultural experiences under their belt, that we were able to mix and match the ideas that worked for us.
