As they told us, we don’t want it to be us running around frantic on what is to be (and definitely was!) our special day. They asked the right questions to help us identify issues on our timeline and our planning, and made sure that all vendors knew exactly where they were supposed to be, when they were supposed to be there, and what they were in charge of. We highly recommend hiring them. However, make things easier for everyone involved by having as many day of details established well before the wedding itself. The assistant coordinator helped transport important items on the day of the wedding and coordinated with the florist on a last minute mixup. We really appreciated both of their efforts in helping our family load up our personal items and extra catering food after the reception. All our guests congratulated us on how great of a night it was afterward! That being said, we did encounter a few challenges along the way. We struggled to schedule virtual meetings with the team due to how busy the season was in the weeks prior. Our videographer also didn’t have special parking arrangements despite us mentioning it in an earlier email chain. And lastly, our interactions with the assistant coordinator were often frustrating. She was unresponsive to communications, late to the hotel on the day-of, generally unfamiliar with the schedule and venue, and missed important details such as removing a brown protective film on our table numbers (which detracted from our pre-reception photos) and rearranging the bride’s train during the processional (which caused a timing issue with the music). We’ve been informed that said assistant is no longer with the company, so we believe these specific issues will not reoccur. The team was very professional in reaching out to us afterwards to discuss our feedback, and we appreciate their dedication to continually improving their service.

IMPACT offers multiple levels of wedding planning support (like day of, month of, full support throughout, and the highest level which means they do absolutely everything). We opted for the 2nd tier where our planner helped us throughout the entire process and it was definitely money well-spent. Haley made us feel like we were the only wedding she was planning and we were her top priority, even though I know it's wedding season and she had back-to-back weddings she was planning at the same time as ours. We got SO MANY comments from guests saying that it was the best wedding they had ever been too. I had more than 1 vendor comment to me that they do lots of weddings and ours was one of their favorites to participate in because it was beautiful and went so smoothly... all thanks to Haley and IMPACT. Haley reviewed contracts to make sure we weren't getting ripped off (which unfortunately there's a lot of price gouging in the wedding industry!), coordinated/corresponded with vendors, did a detailed walk through with vendors at our property, gave great and thoughtful advice whenever we had questions, was SUPER responsive and available, and more. She was thinking ahead the entire time making sure that we had thought through the flow of the night, dealing with all minutiae so we didn't have to, and handling any crisis that popped up... all while being sweet as can be. By the end of the wedding it felt like she was a part of the family. The week leading up to the wedding she was at our house giving us much needed support helping to set up and organizing every detail. If you're debating on whether or not to spend the $$$ (i know, i know... everything is so expensive with weddings!) I can 100% say that you should go for it. It's SO WORTH IT. It was an immense relief to have dedicate person (who's not a family member or a friend who volunteered to help) that I knew was going to handle the things I simply didn't have the bandwidth to deal with. I'm so grateful to Haley and IMPACT! Price-wise for the value we got I felt like they are very affordable. If there's a shred of doubt on whether or not to spring for the planner, this is your sign to do yourself a favor and do it. And if you can get IMPACT for your wedding then definitely hire them!

With that background, I have to say that no words can truly express my admiration and gratitude for a company like Impact. Eddie was fantastic and responsive from my first inquiry. After learning about our plans to prepare our newly-purchased, beautiful (but neglected) river front property for our daughter's wedding in one year, he understood the magnitude of the challenges we faced and gave me excellent advice to consider their services - as it was going to be a huge task. I realized this, but hearing it from Eddie helped me decide to hire them. Eddie assigned Haley to my daughter's wedding and she was more than outstanding. Everyone who attended the wedding told us it was the most beautiful, fun wedding they had ever been to. Now, a lot of people will say that and not mean it, but the reaction from everyone was overwhelmingly one of awe. Haley helped us create an easy, understated beauty in terms of the vision our daughter had but she also got to know us so well that our priorities became her priorities. And my number one priority was taking care of our guests while helping my daughter flesh out what she and her fiancé really wanted for their wedding. There is simply no way we could have done it to such a professional level without Haley. Every detail was at her fingertips or she could retrieve it right away. It was impressive as well as life-saving because by the time the wedding rolled around, we had completely re-landscaped our 14 acre farm and I had planted several acres of gardens! That tool helped us to manage our budget (and anticipate expenses that we're originally on our radar), identify vendors, put together checklists that we would need in the future, and think through a number of actions on our "checklist" in a timely way. That tool was absolutely indispensable to helping us get organized and make sure we were getting everything done we needed to before Star came on 30 days before. It also made transitioning to her seamless as she had everything she needed on that platform, and she used it. She only asked us questions we hadn't already answered on the platform. Thanks to Eddie for connecting us with such an amazing planner and great toolset. He was available if we needed him (which we didn't much because the toolset was so great). Working with IC was worth every penny for us. It made wedding planning a relatively stress free and enjoyable experience and ultimately helped us enjoy our day with no planning related stress--which is such a gift!

Our saying amongst ourselves was “Don’t worry about it, Eddie’s got it”. We also want to recognize their excellent vision in finding what we would like to experience and share with our guests for a wedding venue. To this day our guests are still raving about the experience they had at Casa De Campo. They didn’t even know a place like it existed. They are also still blown away by the wedding events and the inclusions in the wedding day. We can’t forget to mention how delicious they describe the food to be everywhere they went. If we had chosen to go with a wedding planner who was single person operated we would have been in trouble. Their team is well saturated with experts in many areas you won’t think of. on with Trish, my final planner, with perfection. Trish was on top of everything and helped me to stay organized. I lived 3 separate time zones away and having Trish there to make calls and find vendors was exceptional. The aisle planner tool that they use for guests and for planning was a little tough, but they helped me figure it out and it was truly useful with seating charts and invites. On the day of the wedding, my mom was in the hospital and Trish made sure that the schedule was flexible and helped take a lot of the stress out of the venue and getting things done. She helped me breathe and helped us stay on track. In the end, we got everything we asked for and more. This is a planner that will see you through beginning to end and give you as little or as much help as you need!

to do a "simple" destination elopement in DC. We thought, we could do it on our own; after all, what could possibly go wrong? We soon discovered that there's no such thing as simple, if you also want it to be the most memorable day of your life. Eddie and Jillian took us on as clients at the last minute, basically just a little over two weeks before our wedding date. We wanted something special and we got exactly that and so much more. It was a beautiful setting at the DC War Memorial, with flowers, a violinist, cake and so much more. Oh, and the part about IMPACT saving our wedding day; remember, I said what could possibly go wrong? Exactly one week prior to our special day, the officiant whom we had already lined up prior to hiring IMPACT, notified us that he would not be able to do our ceremony, due to a health crisis. We thought; now what? Instead of melting down into full panic mode, we emailed Team IMPACT and within 12 hours we had a new officiant! It would have been impossible for us to have done this elopement ceremony on our own. We basically threw a beautiful wedding just for the two of us, and IMPACT made it so very special. From landing us the PERFECT venue - Capital Turnaround; to a wonderful graphic designer, Max, who created a truly unique and cool invitation suite; to linking us with Spilled Milk, a catering company that merged our Cajun and Vietnamese cultures in a truly inventive way; to his quest to find us the perfect day-of coordinator in Trish — signing on with him is what made our wedding a fairytale. He helped to negotiate every contract. He made sure that our concerns were communicated and advocated on our behalf. His reputation in the industry was apparent in the respect that each of our vendors clearly had for him. He always had our backs and was honest with us. We went through a number of potential day-of-coordinators - not because of availability, but because as soon as Eddie saw that they wouldn’t be a good fit, he would immediately look for someone else. This could have been panic-inducing, but I wasn’t scared. He was always transparent with us and I trusted him. I knew if he thought a change needed to be made, it was for good reason. And Trish, who ultimately became our coordinator was perfect. She understood me immediately, came in with suggestions of ideas I didn’t even know I wanted! Her idea to mix lounge seating from the venue in as the ceremony seating truly made our wedding spectacular. I felt like I was getting married in an intimate ceremony in a living room. Seeing all of the little children piled on a giant ottoman over my husband’s shoulder is one of my best memories of that day. He helped us navigate through the overwhelming options; provided a planning tool that made everything from design, to tracking payments, to guest seating a breeze; helped to schedule all of our meetings with vendors (you would be surprised just how helpful this is - cutting down on preliminary email communications with vendors really reduces stress) and made sure that we were protected in every contract. This was particularly important when planning during the peak of COVID. We needed to be sure that if our wedding needed to be cancelled or postponed, that we wouldn’t lose out on money. He went over every proposal and contract to make sure that we were covered in case of disaster. He made us feel like we were his most important, if not his only client. After working with him for nearly 3 years - he truly feels like family. He got to know us as a couple and that definitely showed on our wedding day.
