mewhat unpleasant. To start the owner of the venue left at 11:30 when the party started at 2:30. When the dj arrived at 2 to set up there was no table or cloth/linen for the dj, when asked to provide she said that she was gone and there was no way to help, dj had to go to Walmart to purchase their own items setting the party back more than 45 minutes. Then at the end of the party, you must FULLY clean the venue (sweeping and mopping included, taking all trash out as well). My best friend paid $1600 for this venue to not have an assistant or employee shadowing this party in case any needs and to have to clean up her own party (while pregnant) The owner of the venue came in at the end and was very very rude. Annoyed we went over less than 30 minutes of scheduled time due to her lack of due diligence. She then proceeded to complain about how the cleaning was not done to her liking. When explained how everything was done to the standards she asked and how her demeanor was not pleasant she explained how her attitude and liking was because she had personal issues going on and how inconvenient it was “for her”. As a paying customer it is not the clients issue when the owner has something going on. She was very unprofessional & not personable. I would not recommend anyone to rent here. In all the venues i have prepped and attended I have never seen someone not have staff on hand for any of the clients needs and cleaning. If you want your guests cleaning after themselves i would then rent here. $1600 is solely for space, chairs and linen. I would highly recommend this place to have a better staffing, a more professional owner & f maybe a cleaning crew. What was supposed to be a beautiful memorable event for my pregnant best friend ended up becoming a headache and a half. Also, before we had left we asked the owner if everything was good before we left and she said yes and to have a great night. Then later on in the night she texted that the mopping was not to her “liking” when it was mopped completely, after 2 days of going back and forth she said was giving us a heads up because she kept our 200 deposit when all standards were met. I would never recommend this place, owner is very oblivious to her actions, took no accountability for any of her actions, and almost nitpicked to keep our deposit.
