e calls, delays in getting back to us about catering, etc. and overall we felt like we were on the back burner. We also felt like our ideas and vision were met with resistance because we had a less traditional ceremony and reception. There were also a few major issues that arose that we feel tainted our day and evening. The first major issue was some sort of power struggle between Amy and the DJ vendor/music coordinator. After the reception we had several guests come to us out of concern over what they witnessed. At 10:30pm the DJ began to play the "chill-out" playlist we provided him. After he began playing, Amy threatened to call the police on him, told him he would never work in The Blanche again, and began to unplug his equipment. Our friends and family really loved the DJ and it's hard to understand why he was treated that way. It embarrassed us that things got so ugly, especially when we were contracted to use the venue until 11:00pm. Prior to this there were other issues with communication between Amy, the DJ, and the music coordinator and affected the timeline and led to stress and confusion. The toast happened at the wrong time, Liz was sent down the aisle at the wrong time, and then the night ended badly when Amy threatened a vendor we hired who was doing what we asked him to do. This brings us to our next concern. The Imperial Productions crew began breaking down dinner and decorations before all guests were served and before the wedding was over. The IP crew began breaking down the tables, chairs, and reception decorations at 10:00 when we had use of the venue until 11:00pm according to our contract with The Blanche. This was embarrassing to us as hosts. We paid a lot of money to use the venue and did not expect it to be taken apart while guests were still present and we were serving late night snacks. It was also embarrassing that guests did not get a full dinner because the food was put away so quickly. IP would not serve any of the wedding cake to the children at the reception. We have no idea why they would not have served the kids cake. Some of our adult guests also did not get cake. It is our understanding that only seated guests were served cake at the time and "extra" slices were placed on a round table near the bar. This part would have been okay, except IP did not cut all the cake we provided. Sunday morning we found the entire second wedding cake in the refrigerator untouched. This was not only embarrassing but it also was just really sad that our children guests thought we didn't want them to have cake. And then a whole cake was wasted. We rented a photo booth from IP and did not get to pick our template and we did not receive the thumb drive of the pictures as agreed upon in the contract. There were some good things that Amy and IP made happen for us. Amy was really kind during the reception when I needed help with my son, she did a great job with the snow machine and hanging extra decorations from the ceremony arch, and we both loved the extra dinner that was waiting for us in the room later in the evening. The rehearsal went well and she was generous and flexible in letting us unload early and use the bridal suite Friday night. Overall, we cannot recommend this vendor.

y wedding day (oops!) because I had NO concern whatsoever that everything would be flawless. I didn't know how naive I was to wedding planning until I met Amy and Snuffy, but that did not stop them from making everything perfect. 1,000% recommend Imperial Productions for all of your wedding needs!

r and our wonderful photographer, Holly Frazier, suggested Amy and her company, Imperial Productions. When we had our first meeting with Amy and heard about all of different package options she offered it was an easy decision! We ended up deciding to use Amy for everything, not just day-of coordination. Her all-inclusive package really was just that. She took care of all of the big and little details… from the save the dates to the reception exit… and EVERYTHING in between. She saved us so much time and helped guide us through decisions around invitations, catering, flowers, decor, and the wedding day timeline. Amy was so easy to work with and worked so hard to make our wedding day completely stress free for us and our families. It was clear from the very first meeting that she not only was good at what she does, but that she really does love sharing such an important day with her couples. The final result was an amazing and beautiful event we will remember for the rest of our lives! We would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in need of a day-of coordinator, wedding planner, or event planner!
