My fiancé Ryan asked me to start with a phone call and talk to someone from Impression Bridal Galleria and Katie answered! Wow this lady was (still is) amazing from the very first Hello! I was panicking that I was late “in the game” and that I wouldn’t find something in my size as I’m petite and usually wear a size 0 or 00 depending on where I get my outfits. She reassured me a bunch saying how I.B. has several options for me. Katie took down my information and what I was looking for in a dress. She was so attentive over the phone, very cool, calm and collected! She texted me photos of dress options based on what we had talked about earlier. Even when I wasn’t feeling a dress, she didn’t give me attitude about it… neither was she pushy like a car salesman! She kept going back on the floor to take more photos of different dresses. I was sold! Couple of days later I was on the road with one of my girlfriends to Houston!
We were met with smiles and warmth upon entering Impression Bridal Galleria! The ladies at the front desk gave us an exceptional welcome! I finally met Katie in person and let me tell you… she is golden! Amazing! You name it!!! So gracious from her walk, to her speech to her entire demeanor! I love that! Coz Lord knows I needed all the grace haha! She had several dresses picked out so we got started! She gave me all her time, attention and patience! Plus several options each time I hesitated about something. She kept going back and forth with the manager and seamstress to get my vision and dream for my dress! Oh plus the veil! She LISTENED and REALLY worked with my budget! Katie was good at thinking on her feet... Her kindness and graciousness made me feel at ease during the entire process even when I got undecided and confused after hours of trying on dresses. I finally found my dream dress and gorgeous veil thanks to Katie!! Yaay I got to say YES TO THE DRESS!! I love how the rest of Impression Bridal team got involved during the process. They offered support, compliments, feedback and even worked with Katie in providing me other options within my budget beyond my expectation!

They want me to take wedding dress home or charge a $25 a monyh fee for storage. I have already gotten married and if I bring that dress home my husband will see it before we walk down the isle. Due to COVID-19 my wedding was rescheduled for one year later.
Then I received a call saying it is my job to call and harass my wedding party on picking up their dresses now when the wedding is a year away. I am not calling people knowing they have been affected by Covid-19! Impression Bridal will say whatever to get you to buy your dress from their store. After you pay your deposit they won’t care about you at all. My friend went went with Wedding by Debbie and they worked with their brides and wedding party.

not very kind when I said I wanted to stay under $2000 for a dress, but did show me their room that had discontinued dresses that we could buy off the rack. She asked my street size, explained that wedding dresses run very small, and we started pulling dresses. She did find several that I thought I would like, but when we went to try them on she wasn't interested in any dresses that required work getting on. I could have wiggled into several or put them on over my head (my hips are much fuller than my top half), but when we came across one that she thought might be too small, she said "this just isn't your dress" and moved on to the next one. . At other salons, consultants were at least willing to hold the dress up in front if there was no way to try them on so I could get an idea of the dress. I was only allowed to try on 4 dresses in the entire store and she was unable to clip the ones that were far too large. She was also very slow. It took her an absurd amount of time to tie the corset on one dress and would just disappear for periods of time while I was in a dress at the mirror showing my mom. I don't know if she was having a bad day, had recently suffered a loss due to the hurricane, or is always like this, but I felt so unwelcome and stressed out during the appointment. I was so relieved when the appointment was over and I will not be giving this place a second chance. I'm sure if you find the right consultant, you'll have a better experience.

When the dress arrived, it did not fit very well, but the tailor and the entire team worked for months to make my dress perfect; ordering me a low-back bustier and sewing it into the dress, making multiple alterations, fixes, and customizations, and being incredibly supportive and responsive. When I decided it was the one they popped champagne and we all celebrated! The store is very chic and modern with huge mirrors and chandeliers, it feels really special.

The consultant gave me a veil and belt to try on with the dress. I ended up buying the exact same belt and veil a few months later because I liked the way they looked so much.
I ordered my dress in August and it arrived in November. I had 3 total appointments for alterations, it only took a few weeks. The tailor recommended a few tweaks to the dress that made it look even better.
When I came in for accessories, they let me try on a sample of my dress again so I could get a better feel of the accessories.
After alterations were done, they held on the my dress for a few months until the wedding and cleaned it right before the big day.

for my future mother in law. She flew in for the occasion and as we were about 10 min away from arriving at the store, we get a call that they do not have the dress at the store. They did not apologize nor did they sympathize with the situation, customer service – not there AT ALL. BUT I was trying to be optimistic and figured sometimes, things happen. After 7 months, my dress finally arrived. I scheduled an apt to come in for alterations and was excited. The NIGHT (8:30 PM), I was contacted and they said the seamstress doesn’t work on that day, so they needed to cancel. The next morning I contacted the manager, who fit me in a couple of days later. Once I arrived, they could not find my dress for about 10 min. Once they did, it opened it – WRONG COLOR. The manager then said she would have the RIGHT dress expedited. I was not so nervous until she told me that it would take another 3 months to get here (Yes, expedited). I was then in contact with another manager the next Monday and was told I would get a call back first thing the next morning…..AND NOTHING. This has been the most horrible experience EVER.

We stopped in and were immediately greeted by the girls at the front and they were backed by a sea of white... white wedding dresses!!!!! Keep in mind that we did not have an appointment and we walked in on a weekday afternoon when it was slow. We were introduced to Sam and she took us through the bridesmaid section and there was a plethora of dresses to look at. She asked what style I wanted, what color, and what fabric I was looking for. I told her I was open for style and fabric, but to make sure that the dresses can come in black. She pulled a few dresses that looked questionable on a hanger, but BEAUTIFUL on! She was SUPER accommodating and made sure that whatever style we were looking for was the one we were looking at. She did not try and sell us on anything else, which I appreciated. She did make a few suggestions, which I took to heart, but she was amazing at her job. Her suggestions were on point and made alot of sense! She did mention that should I decide to get my wedding dress from this particular store, I would get a discount for the bridesmaid dresses... um... SOLD! I had three bridesmaids that had three different dresses. Who wouldn't want a discount!
We moved forward with the dresses for my bridesmaids and when I went out to San Antonio (since they have a location out there) to have my girls measured, I was skeptical after speaking with a lady out there that could not get the dresses correct. This made me nervous and asked her to just give me the measurements and I would personally take this over to the store in the Galleria. I contacted Sam almost immediately and set up and appointment with her and I told her that I wanted to deal with no one else but her and she even moved her schedule around for me. She was probably the only one that could keep the dresses straight since I had three different styles! And at this point, I had TOTAL confidence in her! Once we got the dresses correct and in order...
...it was my turn!
I came back later with my mom... after I made an appointment with Sam of course! I was looking for a particular dress, by this particular designer and they unfortunately did not carry that. However, after she asked me what my budget was and told me that my dress was definitely out of my budget, she made an effort to find a dress that was similar in style and flowed the same way. She had a few dresses in mind for me and my mom made a few suggestions of her own, but I kept going back to the first one Sam suggested and was sold that day! No more shopping! I was done!
Sam was the best! I loved her and would recommend this store and this stylist to ANYONE! You will be in GREAT hands if you get her!
If you want to see a lo t of dresses this is the place to go!!!

on you!!!! let me share to everyone what had happened to us!!! my sis wedding is in November and our main priority was to get the dress first!! so back in May, we went dress shopping and found a dress we liked there. We ordered it right away so that there is ample time to make alterations on it so that it would fit. In July, they called us to see if we wanted to order the dress. we were surprised and frustrated that it was NOT ORDERED YET!!!! we paid money for the dress already and thought they would order it but they didnt. After having a long and RUDE conversation with the manager there, the dress was ordered!! After the dress came in, we came in for a fitting. We made an appointment and they said we didn’t. We were not happy but luckily the seamstress was available to do a fitting. There were straps on the dress that we didn’t like, so we ask them if they could take it out for us and also add a bustle. They said yes so we left. One of the ladies there name Debbie was nice and tried to help us as best as possible (making sure everything came and called us when it came so we can pick it up). She was basically the ONLY ONE THAT WAS NICE!!!! When they called again to get the dress picked up, the straps were out but now there is TWO HOLES where the straps were!!! We told them that this does not look good!!! Guess what one of the OWNERS said!!! They said “ive worked here for 6 years and never saw straps on this dress!!!” We were SHOCKED AND FURIOUS!!!! WHY WOULD WE MAKE THIS UP!!!! After some going back and forth, one of the ladies went to get the exact sample dress on the floor and what do you know, THERE ARE STRAPS!!!! She apologized but the damage is already done! The wedding is over now but let me tell you, the bustle that was made, DID NOT WORK!!!! SO GO at YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!

She knew that I was going to yell once I heard the size that my measurements required me to order. It was her sweet whisper that I heard daily that reminded me to run and go to the gym! Overall, the shop is neat and orderly. Everyone is very catering and professional. The dress made me feel like a princess and I still have it in my closet. I can’t bring myself to sell it. I would recommend Impressions Bridal to brides who need help finding a dress to complete your vision!

nt. Gabby was sweet and I loved the dress. I did purchase the dress along with a vail, bracelet, and headband. I later changed my mind about my headband but it was too late to return it. Than my whole experience turned south. About a week after I bought my dress I received a coupon for $200 off. They were able to credit me the $200 which was nice. I picked up my dress a few months later. I tried it on and it was too small. I am kind of freaking out while I am talking to the sales woman about how I have lost 5 lbs so how can my dress be so small. She said oh they ordered a size smaller so it would fit your waist since your bust is much bigger. Gabby never told me that whenever she was measuring me and ordering my dress. All gabby said was how great it is that I would not need alterations. Yea right. She should have told me that was what she was doing. I went in for my fittings about 6 months before the wedding. They only have two days that you are able to have items tailored and both of those days do not offer evening appointments. I had to take off work for the fittings. Which was fine. I did my first fitting and I need about $250 in alterations including the bustle. Okay that stinks but whatever. I make my second and final fitting with the woman. I called to switch my next fitting because one of my bridesmaids could not make it for the original day schedule. They said not a problem and switched it. I get a call on the day of the fitting I was rescheduled to saying the seamstress canceled because she hurt her hand. I asked all my bridesmaids to switch their time off until the following week. They were able to switch which is great. I get another call that there was a mix up with the scheduling and she did not have my dress ready because Impressions did not tell her I wanted to switch the appointments. Last thing anyone needs to say to a bride is your dress is not ready. I was rather upset whenever I spoke with the sales person about the whole situation. She never once said I understand your situation and let me try to help you. She pretty much said it was my fault for changing the appointment the first time. Which it was not my job to tell the seamstress I needed to change an appointment, it was the shops job. She became very rude and argumentative. I asked her to speak to a manager. After some arguing and asking a lot of questions I was able to get the number of a store manager of another location to help me. She spoke with the seamstress and was able to grantee the dress will be ready in time. Bottom line is everything worked out BUT if I had to do it again.. I would have not gone there.

only my mother's dress was. When I tried it on, the back was 5 inches shorter than the front and off the ground! The dress was almost a size too small. they offered to let it out but there was no hem to let out so they had to remove the tulle underslip which changed the whole appearance of the dress. My $50. dye to match shoes had to be replaced with flats and they tried to charge me for the alterations. I'm out almost $100. bucks and they wouldn't even discount the dress for me. When calling the headquarters, they were very unsympathetic and unhelpful. I'm devastated and with only 2 1/2 weeks before the wedding, I don't have time to get anything else. DON"T BUY FROM IMPRESSIONS!

i got into a Fall 2012 dress and it was everything that I wanted. I walked out and was smiling. Shia asked me if I wanted to walk in the dress towards a full length mirror. I cried!!!! I was thinking this was my dress. I had the shoes on and a belt that was to die for. She told me I was the first person to try this on and to have the belt with this dress. The dress was in my budget. I asked for a dress for a Princess and she gave me Modern Princess.
Needless to say I left the store at 745pm and they closed at 6. I didnt feel pressured to buy my dress or pushed out the store. Shia let me have my moment to be in the dress and to soak it in. She is the best. I am sure she would have rather been at home, then with me. But she made me feel like it was all about me.
After reading the negative comments on here, I suggest that Brides ask for Shia next time you go in. I am sure she can make a tear come to your eye after the appointment is over.

dress like mine before. Impression Bridal gowns are extremely high quality with reasonable prices. In fact, I love most of the gowns in the shop - and not only are they prettier than most of the dresses you see on "Say Yes to the Dress," they are about a quarter of the price. The only criticism I have is that the store is so new, they have some organization problems and none of the employees seem to know how to use their computer system very well yet. They called to tell me when my dress came in, and when I went to pick it up, they couldn't locate it. After calling the employee who called me, they discovered she had left it up at the front instead of the storage room - an example of them needing to get organized.

They listened to what I wanted and helped guide me towards dresses that were within my budget. (The salon has all the top designers so it would be easy to break the bank. It was my first salon to visit (due to a scheduling snafu at another salon), and nowhere else in Houston could compare. I came back the following week to order my dress (which was well within my budget-yay)!
I went in today for my second fitting, and I love my dress just as much today as the day I ordered it. It came in just when they said it would and looks perfect. The tailor has done a beautiful job (though it needed very little work) and has been very easy to work with. The staff greets me by name every time I arrive and always takes a few minutes to chat about my wedding. I have had a perfect experience, and I was thinking today that I will be sad when I no longer have a reason to stop by this pretty, pretty shop. I highly recommend this salon.
