Allie and her team at Impulse Strings set a perfect tone for our wedding with their string trio. We opted to go for an all modern playlist and our guests loved the surprise and whi...
msy it brought to our pre-ceremony. When it came to the processional and recessional, Impulse Strings helped bring our guests to applause and tears.
Their trio added a beautiful soundtrack to our ceremony day. They’ll add that detail to yours as well.
If you’re considering live music for your wedding, stop searching and book Impulse Strings—you will not regret it! Working with Alexandria was such an easy and enjoyable experience...
from beginning to end. She was incredibly responsive, answered every question we had during our pre-wedding meetings, and made the entire planning process feel seamless and stress-free.
On our wedding day, the team arrived right on time and brought such an elegant, timeless atmosphere to our ceremony and cocktail hour. Their talent is truly exceptional. Every song was performed beautifully, and they executed all of our requested selections flawlessly. One of our favorite touches was that they learned three custom songs for us at no additional cost, which made the experience feel so personal and meaningful.
The performance exceeded all of our expectations. Live strings added a level of sophistication and emotion that our guests are still talking about, and we’ve continued to receive so many compliments on how incredible they were. We are so grateful to Alexandria and the entire Impulse Strings team for helping make our wedding feel so magical. We couldn’t recommend them more highly!

ns who truly care about helping make the wedding day special and personalized. I’m so grateful for their hard work and dedication—my brother and mother wanted to sing two songs at cocktail hour, and the quartet took the time to learn them both and rehearse separately beforehand. Many friends told me their performance was one of the most memorable moments of the wedding!
For starters, Impulse Strings did an amazing job translating Max Richter's 'Spring' to an arrangement for our ceremony processional, and the beautiful day matched with their beauti...
ful music just had me levitating out of my body. What an experience. One of the most devastating parts of the day was missing their performance at the cocktail hour bc we got too busy with photos, but our guests were raving about them and leaving us desperate to stalk down footage. We loved that their catalogue was so eclectic, with everything from classical bops to Thong Song, Taylor Swift, Kendrick - you name it. As the groom's mother walked in, she was touched to hear them playing a Matt Monroe song arranged specially for her. At this point, my now-husband and I are frantically brainstorming what other events we can throw just to have another round with them. Ally was a great communicator and the full group were also so lovely and friendly when I managed to stalk them down just in time before they left. Highly recommend!!

em to make their magic happen. We chose songs from a very long and awesome song list & they were able to take recommendations from us as well. Any email was answered promptly & kindly whenever I had questions. On wedding day they were dressed for the occasion, extremely professional and most importantly TALENTED! They were excellent and truly made walking down the aisle a beautiful and memorable experience. Guests were complimenting them to me following the wedding day. Hire them for your special day! A huge thank you to Allie!

They crafted songs we wanted that weren't already in their repertoire, were spot on in what we'd wanted them to play and did a truly wonderful job!

e catalog of pop, rock, and classical songs for us to choose from. Easily one of the best and most fun aspects of planning our wedding was just deciding what songs we wanted to hear Alexandria play. And play them she did. She carried our entire ceremony and cocktail hour for our wedding, setting the mood, and putting everyone at ease in a light, relaxed mood. At every turn, she was kind, generous, easy to work with, and made the process as seamless as it could possibly be. We would absolutely work with Alexandria again, no question!

cting a fairly traditional “playlist” of classical pieces, their list of song options (which they could confidently play) included a huge number of contemporary and popular music options, and they also offered to add any requested songs that were not on the list. During the wedding ceremony the music was perfect, bringing waves of timeless emotions with the alternately warm and playful timbre of the strings while the guests were arriving and during the processional and recessional moments. It was a pleasure to work with Impulse Strings and they were the perfect musical accompanists for the ceremony.
Music was absolutely gorgeous and captured the range and beauty we wanted, from classical to popular music.

I originally hired Impulse Strings for a wedding, but life had a change of plans. Instead of giving up the day, I reclaimed it by celebrating with my family and friends. Alexandria completely understood the vision.
Alexandria created a set list that set the PERFECT vibe for my party. Arturo performed the electric violin with backing tracks. He was SO talented. My guests were talking about his performance all weekend.

ssional. Allie was early, set up everything she needed, worked with our Dj to test the sound system well ahead of the ceremony, and even checked in with me to ensure there wasn’t anything I needed from her that we hadn’t yet discussed. Hiring Impulse Strings for your event or wedding it truly a no-brainer. It was without a doubt my favorite touch to our day and we will forever remember it.

bly communicative, responded to emails quickly, and spoke with me over the phone to talk through ideas about how the day would unfold. As the wedding got closer, I was able to commission a piece for the bride's processional and review the cocktail music playlist. On the wedding day, Impulse Strings came early, set up quickly and were an absolute joy to have at the ceremony and cocktail hour. They played beautifully and really made the day feel special. Many guests came up to us during cocktail hour to praise the musicians, who were absolutely phenomenal. What an outstanding group of musicians, well within our wedding budget, and an incredible delight to work with!

Met with Impulse Strings lead (Alexandria) several times after contracting the group to discuss musical pieces requested, and general flow of the engagement.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about them.
Not only did they incorporate several new pieces to their set list as requested by the couple for the wedding ceremony, they offered suggestions as to flow of music for the cocktail hour.
Their classical set list encompassed all the traditional favorites, and their popular music set list was very up to date.
They were very accomodating, pleasant and highly professional in their performance and appearance.
Also they were totally in tune with the vibe of the wedding.
I highly recommend their engagement for whatever event you may be holding.
