nce and theater experience from his high school days, I have no dance experience what so ever. Christen was able to put together a dance that only was I able to learn, but also master, within two months. The one thing I will mention is that if couples are not motivated to practice frequently on their own, unless you have lots of dance experience, you may not find this business suitable for you. We purchased the basic package which includes two 1.5 hour lessons, and I was able to learn the basic steps of the dance in that time with Christen. The steps were easy enough for me to practice on my own, but complex enough that it wowed our guests! So if you are motivated, and want an unforgettable experience and dance, In Home Wedding Dance Lessons will not disappoint!

She put together a choreographed dance for us that was fun to learn and had just the right balance of easy to remember steps mixed with fun lifts and spins that made our guests go nuts. We learned everything we needed to know over the course of two lessons, which occurred in the comfort of our own home, and then the rest of the practicing was up to us. We're so glad we contacted and hired Christen!

Owner

Christen has a Masters of Arts from NYU in Dance Education. She teaches dance in the public school system as her full time job. She is a well known regional musical theatre choreographer and was nominated for a Helen Hayes award, Outstanding Choreography. She has choreographed wedding dances for over 7 years and absolutely loves it! When her friends started getting married, they asked her for help to make them feel comfortable during their first dance. Going to their homes seemed natural and comfortable for the couples. This is how In Home Wedding Dance Lessons & Choreography started!
