They did not push me toward a look I did not want which I really appreciated and they definitely made sure I was happy with the end result. ies, etc., it is a complete waste of money if your hair doesn't look good! The hair can really make or break your wedding day look. I am so happy to say that mine totally made mine! I love Dana! She is so sweet, down to earth and very easy to work with. Dana is knowledgeable, always got back to me quickly and very flexible. She actually cares about her brides and connects with them. She doesn't make you feel like a "client" on your wedding day, rather an old friend. She communicated with me often between my trial and my wedding. By the day of my wedding, we were like "sisters from different misters". I scheduled 2 trials with Dana. There were two styles I really liked and I wanted to see how each of them would look. Before my trials I communicated Dana a lot because I have very thin hair and tend to like fuller styles. I was sure I would need extensions. She assured me I wouldn't and she was so right. I have never seen anyone tease hair like Dana! I ended up loving both styles. I couldn't believe how great my hair looked, so I booked Dana to style my hair for my rehearsal dinner also. It came out great and I was so happy I did! The day of the wedding I still couldn't decide which style I liked the best. Dana suggested we merge the two together. I was a little nervous, having never seen exactly what it would look like before. I LOVED it and could not have been happier with the way that my hair looked. It was beautiful. I got so many compliments throughout the night. Dana also did updos for my mother, the MOG, and 3 of my bridesmaids. They all loved their hair! My mother is extremely picky when it comes to her hair. She typically does it herself but wanted "the experience". I was so nervous she would not like her hair and it would ruin her day. Dana was wonderful. She was very patient with my mom and they talked through her style as they went. Dana made sure my mom was happy with her hair before she got out of the chair. My mother ended up LOVING her hair---I couldn't believe it! But then again, Dana is the best! Choosing In Style Down the Isle was so great because Dana will travel to you! It was wonderful because I didn't need to worry about traveling to appointments the morning of. I was able to sit back and relax with my family. Dana also was very flexible and accommodating. She helped me to make a day of schedule so that she and the makeup artist could work on all the girls and everything would run smoothly and I wouldn't need to worry about anything! I can not say enough about In Style Down the Isle or Dana. I would recommend Dana to any bride. I know I will be calling her again in the future to make my hair gorgeous! Thank you, Dana!!!

put up with my craziness for 6 months before my wedding and Kate helped me relax on my wedding day). I felt so beautiful that day and everyone kept complimenting me on how great my hair and makeup looked. Most importantly, my hair stayed in place all night and my makeup did not smear, smudge, or wear off even though I danced up a storm and people were hugging me all night. One of the best parts of hiring them was also the fact that they came to my hotel. I didn't have to worry about running around to salon appointments and was able to relax in my hotel room. Dana and Kate are both super professional, arrived early on my wedding day, and were always available to answer any questions I had almost immediately. I cannot say enough how wonderful they are and I highly recommend them to any bride looking to have THE best hair and makeup and a stress free experience on her wedding day!

hey were beyond thrilled and looked gorgeous. She pleased two fifteen year old girls (who can be fickle) up to my mom who is 67 and everyone was just ecstatic. Now onto my hair... I loved it!! It was gorgeous at the trial but the day of was even more amazing!! And let me share that I have hair past my natural waist and its super curly... it didn't even phase her and it turned out amazing (and let me say I went on a couple of hair trials because people said they could work on my hair and to put it nicely that was not the case). So if you have curly hair Dana is the stylist for you!!! I cannot thank Dana enough it stayed perfect through the last dance. :)

to worry about. Dana and Kate are a Dream Team! I even changed the way I wanted my hair three days before the wedding. Dana was great and assured me it would be exactly how I envisioned it. Oh how right she was! I loved the way I looked and my bridal party looked perfect! They are professional and punctual. The way I looked I at 11am was the way I looked at 11:30pm. Thank you Ladies! t doesn't leave it with you or leave you any samples, so you end up having to spend like $100 on more makeup. The hair stylist did a fine job on all of our hair, but I felt that she and her assistants were a bit curt with me and my bridal party and didn't once crack a smile. More importantly, my hair did not hold very long. Granted there is only so much you can do when it is hot outside and you are doing a lot of dancing and thus sweating, but my hair curled up really quickly and lost the style way sooner than I think it should have. I wish she had told me to bring a curling iron or something for touch ups, that's something I would have never thought of and she probably should have.

modating throughout the entire process. I actually went for three hair trials because after the first trial I bought a headpiece and wanted to make sure that I had a trial with the headpiece. I actually loved the second look but my FI did not so there I was going for a third trial. I am so happy I did! My third look was PERFECT. All and all Dana made me look and feel fabulous and beautiful....Loved it and would use her services again in an instant!

y. We had such a fun time, it was like being with a girlfriend I'd known for a long time. On the actual wedding day, she and her assistant were just fabulous. They treated us with kindness, calmness and respect. They made me and my bridesmaids look more beautiful than I ever thought possible. They are routed in Northern NJ and do not travel to you for trials, and only do trials on weekdays. Being from Central NJ and working a 9-5 job, it was a bit inconvenient. The trial went well, though they scheduled another bride for the same time and I felt a bit rushed. For my hair trial, I showed Dana photos of what I wanted, and she got it on the first try. When she was done though, it was on to the next, and I had no time to play around with it and try something else. With Kate, it was difficult for her to understand what I was asking, and we did my makeup over 3 times. She was very reassuring and patient, though, so I trusted I could continue to talk to her about it before the wedding and she would accommodate me. The trial was pricy - almost as much as the day of would cost. Kate was a sweetheart - I went for a few MAC counter makeup applications after her trial and sent her some pictures. She was more than happy to talk to me for an hour over the phone, swapping pictures and getting down to what it was I was looking for. On the day of, not only did I LOVE what she did, but she did a fantastic job with everyone else! And her time management was wonderful. She waited until everyone was dressed, and did a double check to make sure everyone was looking their best. I would definitely recommend her for your wedding. Dana had a bit of a harder edge with my family and bridal party. She brought an assistant, who mostly sat in the corner the whole time. She only worked to prep 1 or 2 people to curl their hair. I would have preferred she bring a second stylist. Dana finished everyone with time to spare, but did not wait around. After the last bobby pin was secure, she packed up and left. I wish she hadn't - as the bride my hair started falling out 5 MINUTES after the dress was on. I had my sister and my mom frantically shoving bobby pins into my up-do to get me down the aisle. This is why I rated a 3/5 for value - I did not think the quality of service I got from Dana on the day of matched the large amount of money I spent to use her. Also bare in mind they both charge for travel and an early morning fee...so if you're getting married in the morning or afternoon and they have to get there at 6 or 7, it will cost you more. Like I said, everyone looked gorgeous the day of and overall I was happy...but I wanted to be very honest with this review to help you out.

ed out looking the way I wanted to for the big day. They really focus on what looks good in photos. When I saw the pictures they took of me after the trial I was blown away even more.
