In The Blue Jazz Ensemble bring smooth notes and slick numbers to weddings all across Michigan. The group offers couples choice, ranging from the full-band experience to solo performances. They combine professionalism and talent to create unforgettable memories on every dance floor they visit. In The Blue Jazz Ensemble was formed by a group of jazz aficionados with a passion for performing. The group’s members have cut their teeth playing stages far and wide, from small churches in downtown Grand Rapids to the grandiose setting of Carnegie Hall. Their wide range of genres stretches from latin to jazz-fusion, and they bring irresistible energy to every performance. Guests will enjoy the cool ambiance of cocktail hour jazz before hitting the floor for a night of twisting to some swing classics. In The Blue Jazz Ensemble is delighted to serenade couples with their music and provides a professional service from start to finish. They can perform as a full quintet, or as a paired down saxophone and piano duo for more intimate affairs. The group can also provide a DJ, so your guests can keep moving after the live music has finished.

They even played our first dance song - Perfect by Ed Sheeran and it was so sweet. I booked the saxophone and piano duo for my ceremony and let me just tell you - WOW is all I can say. They created the most beautiful environment with such a sweet sound. Tim and Jarrett were excellent. They were also quick to troubleshoot the sound system they brought for us. I had the quartet for cocktail hour and dinner, and again, they were outstanding! All of the boys were flexible during the night and sounded perfect for the classy elegance I wanted for the event. I can't say thank you enough to them! BOOK THEM!! You won't regret it!

learn any other song that I requested. We had a few hiccups with them moving locations multiple times throughout the evening but we easily came together to figure out a solution and the evening went flawless. They are all SO great to work with and are all very professional. Highly recommend!

raciously took all our song requests. He wove everything together effortlessly, and without any rehearsal! At our ceremony, we had the quartet for FIVE hours! They jammed all night long, and our guests raved about the music and laid-back ambience it provided. They work well as a background to visiting with people, dinner, and all events of the night, but also are a joy to sit and watch. Our first dance was classy as hell. For the last song at the end of the night, they really rallied and brought the house down! Everyone was dancing! Thank you guys for helping make the most memorable night!
