Jaclyn is an incredible wedding planner! Our wedding quite literally would not have happened without her. Not only is she great at what she does but she’s also a great person to work with and know. She kept us on track every step of the planning process, kept us level headed when things got hectic and made sure the wedding day was absolutely perfect. We can’t recommend her enough!

Jaclyn did such an amazing job planning our wedding at the La Valencia! My husband was abroad for six months leading up to the wedding, and I was living across the country until just before our event. Jaclyn relieved so much of the stress that I had while trying to plan the wedding from three different time zones! She was extremely professional and had great recommendations for vendors, always giving us plenty of options for our price range, and honest opinions about who she thought would fit best into our event. She was extremely responsive, and quick to help me remedy situations where I had changed my mind or wanted to add things. She was also great at helping us get a caricature artist for our wedding (which was a huge hit), but was not a vendor she had worked with previously. She kept us on track with our planning and made the day run so smoothly. I was worried about being overwhelmed or stressed on the day of the event, but Jaclyn and her assistant made the day so calm and stress free - I was able to truly soak everything in and enjoy the day. I cannot recommend her highly enough - I wouldn’t have changed a single thing about the event or event planning process. She was absolutely wonderful to work with, and I cannot thank her enough. :)

I had spoken to many coordinators and planners, and my gut told me to go with Jaclyn and she did not disappoint! I’ve heard stories of brides saying how stressed they felt and I did not feel not one ounce of stress when having Jaclyn there. She was amazing! There were details I had even forgotten about and she reminded me the day of which was so helpful since it’s a lot to remember on your special day. We hired In The Details as our month of coordinator for our August wedding in La Jolla and definitely recommend Jaclyn and her team to anyone searching for a wedding planner or coordinator! In The Details offered a fair price and was worth every penny we spent. My husband and I knew we wanted to do most of the design and planning ourselves, but we wanted a professional to come in and help tie it all together and run the show on the wedding day. Jaclyn and her team were so professional and helpful throughout the whole process. She is a great communicator and managed all the back and forth between vendors in the final weeks that took the pressure off us and gave us peace of mind heading into the wedding week. She is efficient, responsive, extremely organized, and achieves all this with a smile and calm demeanor. A few days before our outdoor wedding the forecast took a turn for the worse as Hurricane Hilary approached. Jaclyn was immensely helpful throughout all this last minute stress and did so much extra outreach and work to get us quotes for tents. Leading up to the wedding we sent her a list of the decor we wanted set up for the wedding, and at the rehearsal the day before we handed off all the boxes. She also provided complimentary decor we could choose from (table numbers, easels, picture frames, etc) which was a huge help! Jaclyn and her team set up everything perfectly and we were so happy with how our vision was brought to life. During the wedding day she was a lifesaver, helping remove a stain from the groom’s shirt and fix my shoes! At the end of the night she packaged up all our decor and loaded it into my car for me. Jaclyn and the whole In The Details team were an absolute joy to work with and we can’t recommend them enough!

Jaclyn made everything so much better. I did the month of package with her and it was like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. She confirmed everyone, made sure to cc all necessary parties, get any insurance from my vendors to my venue, and everything else. Jaclyn was super professional but really warm. She was super responsive to any email or texts I sent her. Always, responding within the same day, or the next day if it was late at night. Jaclyn always made sure that my questions were followed up and not forgotten in the many email chains. She even took pictures and videos of us through out the night which was a wonderful surprise. We really just got to enjoy the whole day because of her. I would recommend In the Details to anyone who is thinking of getting a wedding planner.

Jaclyn and her team at In the Details were absolutely INCREDIBLE! Hiring In the Details was the single best decision we made in planning our wedding. We hired Jaclyn for month-of coordination and she nailed everything. If we had decided to hire a wedding coordinator earlier, we would not hesitate to have used Jaclyn for full or partial planning! Jaclyn is incredibly detail-oriented and thorough. Her time management is amazing, and she responds to emails/texts from us and our vendors nearly instantly. She took all of our stresses away the last couple months before the wedding, and we barely had to lift a finger dealing with the vendors. I would also recommend adding Aisle Planner to your package with In the Details - it made organizing everything so much easier and Jaclyn is able to view it all so nothing gets lost! The day of the wedding (and the rehearsal), Jaclyn and her assistant Ruby were calm, cool and collected. They both were able to wrangle our large bridal party while ensuring our 170 guests were also catered to. Our decor was set up exactly how we asked, and they completely executed our vision flawlessly. The best part was at the end of the night, Jaclyn and Ruby neatly packed away all of our items and loaded them into our vehicles. We nor our guests had to worry about any clean up! If there were any issues or fires to put out at the wedding, we did not know about them and Jaclyn and Ruby handled them perfectly. We have already recommended Jaclyn and In The Details to our friends and do not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else! They even took some behind the scenes photos and videos throughout the entire day so we had something to look at until our professional photos arrived, which is so thoughtful! Jacyln was incredible! 11/10 recommend :) We hired her the month of our wedding to support coordination if vendors leading up to and on the day of the wedding. We also had her support a large welcome party the evening before the wedding. Jacyln has a calm, confident composure, making you feel secure that all details of the wedding are handled. She also goes above and beyond to share recommendations when asked and is overall a joy to be around. I highly recommend Jacyln as a month of/day of coordinator as she thinks through every last detail. Having her onboard allowed us to completely relax leading up to and on the day of the wedding!

We had a wonderful experience working with Jaclyn! We brought on In The Details to do month-of coordination and are so thankful we did. For our first meeting, Jaclyn met us at our venue since she had not worked at that space before and made sure to understand exactly how we envisioned our day. From there, she made sure that there was no detail missed with the vendors & developed a thorough timeline. She checked in with us often to make sure that we felt comfortable and that all our questions were answered along the way. The day of our wedding, Jaclyn & her assistant Tatiana went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we were taken care of. Most of my friends who've gotten married reflect on their day and say how they didn't get to eat the food or how it was a big blur because they were pulled in a lot of different directions - but not us! Jaclyn & Tatiana not only handled all of the coordination with the vendors & setting up our decor, but they made sure we had a space to retreat to when we needed a minute. They also made sure we were the first in line for the food and that our drinks were replenished the entire night. We had the perfect wedding day with absolutely no stress or issues and cannot thank Jaclyn enough!

Jaclyn and her assistant did an AMAZING job! We hired her for day of coordination and if you are looking for a wedding planner that simply just makes your event not only run smoothly but look absolutely stunning in the end, she is your girl!!! I couldn't have asked for a more professional and sweet human to do this job. She catered to all our needs the month leading up to the wedding and on the day of. She helped find vendors, dealt with them and their own timelines, created our wedding party timelines, helped with the floor plan, set everything up, kept everything running on time, and packed everything up for us which made it so easy at the end of the night. We hired Jaclyn for day-of-coordination, but unfortunately, Jaclyn did not work our wedding since she got Covid the day before. I was an extremely stressed-out bride, but I totally understood – things happen, and she promised she would send her team “of equal or similar professional experience” – and this was not the case. Although Jaclyn's assistants were very friendly, it was obvious they were less experienced. It felt impersonal and often felt like Jaclyn’s team were just trying to get through the day. We were only offered a small refund (less than what we tipped her team) after Jaclyn realized we were unhappy. We would probably give another 1/2 star if able for the communication we had with Jaclyn before the wedding and decor setup, which we were happy with. We spent a lot of time generating a timeline with Jaclyn in the weeks leading up to our wedding, which was essentially thrown out the window on the day of the wedding. Jaclyn’s assistants were nowhere to be found for most of our photography and were not there to help direct and guide the rest of our vendors through the timeline. As a result, many things did not happen on our wedding day that I had expressed to Jaclyn were very important to me. Our guests saw me before our ceremony started because no one was keeping track of time, we had scheduled 2 separate times to do our reception reveal to ensure this would happen at some point before the reception started, neither of which happened. This was very important to me since I had personally made all my wedding décor myself. There was ultimately no problem solving by Jaclyn’s team when things ran late, and her team started packing up our décor before our event had even concluded. These things among others I won’t mention here ultimately just made my husband and I feel that we did not get what we had paid for. I am disappointed to have to write a negative review, as I am sure this would have been 5 stars if Jaclyn had been there, but unfortunately, we were unhappy with the services provided by the ITD team.

We feel so lucky to have been able to work with Jaclyn! Truly, we would have never been able to pull off an incredible wedding experience without her and her tireless work. Due to covid and a new a baby, we had so many date changes, and Jaclyn was amazing in how she coordinated all the moving pieces with our vendors, venue, and keeping us on track. She is so organized and we always knew we could count on her to take care of all of the details for us. Her design aesthetic is absolutely beautiful and created such a gorgeous experience for us and our guests utilizing some amazing vendors and her contacts. She is an incredible coordinator and if you are looking for help with your wedding, she is the best!

If you are looking for a wedding planner that does it all In The Details is all you need. Jaclyn and her team were hired for my daughters wedding on 6/10/2022. We chose the Month of Package and it was perfect. From dealing with vendors, creating timelines, creating the floor plan, setting everything up and keeping the bride and groom fed and hydrated I can not say enough. This company if 5 star + and honestly we could not have done it with out Jaclyn she was absolutely amazing!!!!!

I can’t say enough great things about Jaclyn! Unfortunately, our original coordinator canceled on us ONE month from our big day. We thankfully were able to book Jaclyn and she filled in seamlessly… picking up the slack of the previous coordinator and then going above and beyond to make sure we were all set and organized for our big day!! Jaclyn is not only friendly and polite, she is extremely professional and truly cares about you and your wedding day. Her calming presence makes the biggest impact on the overall day. We are so thankful our original coordinator cancelled on us because it was a true privilege having Jaclyn as our coordinator and being there for us on our special day! Our wedding day was beyond perfect and stress-free and that’s all thanks to Jaclyn.

Jaclyn is SO amazing. I brought her in when I had already had a couple of big things booked and she was an immediate relief when it came to planning and designing the rest of our wedding. She understood my vision perfectly from the first call we had and it was executed beyond what I could have imagined. I also always felt like she understood our personalities which is so important on a day that can be stressful. Even my dad (who originally did not understand why you hire a planner) told me over and over on the day-of how we could have possibly done this without her. We couldn't have! I can’t even put into words how grateful we were for Jaclyn, I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars. After our first chat on the phone I could tell she was the perfect fit for us. She eased all of our wedding nerves through the entire planning process. She took all of our ideas and made them better and made them come to life. Having her take over vendor communication was the biggest help ever. She helped us create a perfectly seamless timeline and came up with so many ideas to make the event stand out and be perfectly curated for us and our personalities. Jaclyn’s expertise, professional and dependability is priceless and I can’t/ don’t want to imagine the wedding planning process without her. On top of all of the planning coordination, her day of coordination was amazing as well. Her and her team made sure our day was stress free and perfectly set up for us down to the smallest details. She was always there to guide us through our timeline but never made us feel rushed. One of our guests accidentally knocked over our champagne tower and she went above and beyond to problem solve and set up a new one without us asking. It was such a nice surprise and meant so much to us. And she took the best behind the scene photos and footage of our day that we can look back on forever. Jaclyn not only helped us find our dream venue, she connected us with various vendors, helped us navigate meetings, and provided us with great design ideas. We booked Jaclyn's Final Details package for help the month of the wedding (which was crucial) and also utilized her Event Design Package to help us with decor, colors, and theme. There are SO many last-minute details you can't even imagine, and Jaclyn handled them all. She handled our floor plan design, timeline, and all vendor communication. We would have check-in calls and if there had been a question or issue with a vendor, she had already solved it! On the day of our wedding she checked in periodically to update us on timing, made sure that we ate and drank, and went above and beyond by taking some photos and videos on her own phone that she sent to us the next day. Words can't describe how lucky we got with hiring Jaclyn as our wedding planner! We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID, and she was so helpful and responsive during the entire process. We met through Zoom a few times and she eased my stress immensely, especially since I had report cards and conferences coming up during my wedding. When we went to drive home at the end of the night we saw that everything had been packed up and stored in our cars for us which made leaving our wedding night so incredibly nice! I am so incredibly impressed with the work ethic, organization, and professionalism that Jaclyn and her team brought to my entire wedding planning experience. I did the full package with the In the Details team. Being a project manager myself, I like to be very hands on and Jaclyn balanced this through her organization with monthly updates and easy to use online tool to check off tasks. It was available for both me and my fiancé and helped both of us figure out what we is left to do. I never felt overwhelmed, Jaclyn is extremely communicative whether through email, text, or phone call. She makes you feel as though your wedding is the only one she is managing, even though I am sure she has a bunch. The individual attention was extremely helpful leading up to the big day. And even on the big day, I didn't even notice her and her team running around setting up, I still look back and have no idea what obstacles they might have ran into because they did such a great job letting me focus my time on getting married and enjoying my day! I cannot thank Jaclyn and her team enough for all the work they did. If I could do it all over again, I would choose IN THE DEATILS every time!

Jaclyn exceeded our expectations. Her design boards synced nearly perfectly with my vision, and her organization and attention to detail made it all come to life on the day of. We were one of the many, many, manyyyyy couples affected by Covid, which means we had the privilege to work with Jaclyn for not one but two years. She was so flexible and patient with us as we postponed our wedding to 2021, kept all of our vendors in the loop and on the same page, and periodically checked in on us to make sure we were doing ok. As a full time working mom of 3, w/ a husband that was deployed, finding time to plan a wedding was hard, but Jaclyn was there to assist every step of the way! She was very timely and courteous when connecting w/ vendors, provided quite feedback when I just couldn't finalize some small details regarding florals, place settings, etc, and was always positive....helped to keep us in the best spirits as well! Jaclyn and her team are nothing short of phenomenal! We opt’d for the month of coordinator package w/ event design and she delivered!!! In short- I 100% recommend you book her to bring you dream wedding to life! The details: We had a 2 year long engagement and as expected our vision for our wedding day changed a lot during that time. We knew generally what style we wanted and selected a The Lane, San Diego, a beautiful venue that allowed us to use the vendors we wanted. Since we were doing most of the planning on our own, Jaclyn’s event design package was perfect for helping us narrow down exactly what we want and an action plan on how to secure it. She gave guidance (and templates!) on how to organize our different vendors and considerations when booking! Six or so weeks before the wedding we met with Jaclyn in two separate meetings where we passed all the details over to her, created a timeline and finalized the vision for the day of. I was very nervous how it would all come together since we were using several different vendors and some of our own decorations. Fast-forward to our wedding day… It was breathtaking! Jaclyn understood exactly what we wanted and her team executed above & beyond our vision! All of our guests commented on how it was the most elegant & modern wedding they’ve attended (not to mention fun!). Behind the scenes, Jaclyn and her team ensured our day went off without a hitch. The day was a blur so I’m not actually sure what was going on, but that’s why you have a wedding coordinator! So you and your partner can focus on the love that’s surrounding you. Jaclyn checked on us, made sure we were fed & happy, and by the end of the night all of our personal supplies/decorations were packed and somehow in our room. A few of our guests are actually in event planning & the wedding industry and couldn’t stop complimenting on how on top of it they were! They mentioned they hadn’t worked with a coordinator who was so on point. And the rest of our party was just shocked our wedding actually started on time (a reflection of me being late for everything). Honestly, in the details was the best investment for our wedding day. Jaclyn has a warmth around her that calms you, but a drive that gets stuff done by all means. I’m a huge fan of her & her team!!! Book her while she’s available! P.s. In the midst of being overwhelmed with planning, I booked an hour long session with Jaclyn to help me organize some of the details I was flustered with (flowers, decoration rentals, etc.) … this session was a mix of coordination and therapy and was worth every penny!

Jaclyn is AMAZING! I hired her for a day of coordinator but she does way more than just day of. She communicated with me about 6 weeks in advance to begin the timelines for everything. She was so helpful because I had no CLUE what I was doing and she explained to me about how the whole day will go down to the finest details. Hence the name In The Details. She made my wedding day effortless for me which is exactly what I wanted. I am a very particular bride as far as how I wanted table centerpieces to look and the processional to go with my wedding party, and she heard everything I said and made it happen. After our very first call I felt like I could trust her, and she continued to exceed expectations throughout the entire wedding planning process. Jaclyn and her team were wonderful!! We hired Jaclyn to be our month-of planner since we’d pretty much planned the majority of the wedding, but needed a professional to help us figure out some of the smaller details. She was super sweet and helpful, happy to answer any questions we had (and there were a lot) & offered plenty of solid advice leading up to the big day. I wasn’t stressed at all the day of, knowing that Jaclyn and her team were running the show. Everything went smoothly, and our photographers even commented on how amazing it was that every aspect of the wedding was on time, down to the minute, the entire day (which apparently rarely happens). This just goes to show how experienced and efficient the In The Details team is! After we got back from our honeymoon we received a lovely thank you card from Jaclyn along with a framed photo from our wedding ceremony. I highly recommend booking ITD for your wedding, even if it’s just for month/day of; it just makes everything so much easier and you’ll be much more relaxed on your wedding day. It’s so worth it! I don’t plan on getting married again, but if I do I’ll definitely hire ITD again! 😄

Jaclyn and her team were absolutely AMAZING!!! I knew she was the one when she said to me, "Sunset is at 7:36 on your day", during our initial consultation. I was SO mind blown by the attention to detail and the extra effort Jaclyn puts in to prepare for our big day. This is coming from a bride who has every single minute laid out for the wedding day on an Excel Spreadsheet, and 10 different sheets in an Excel workbook for planning purposes... I booked Jaclyn as my day of, and had 2-3 meetings prior to the day. - Jaclyn was NEVER stressed, she took care of anything and everything on the wedding day. - Will do everything you need her to the way you want her to, and adding her own magical touch. - Will never tell you "that won't work" or "that can't work", she will make it happen. - Always 5 steps ahead of me. - Hyper-organized... - EXTREMELY artistic, helped stage some decor at my wedding. - Doesn't seem to be affected by any curve ball thrown at her... always so pleasant to make any changes!! (I was changing details even the day before! Jaclyn adapted them so well.) - Vendor communication was SPOT ON, there was nothing my vendors did not know on the day. - Wrapped up the night so effortlessly, the venue did not have much to worry about. - Best value in town. Let me just say that my wedding day was absolutely perfect because of Jaclyn and her assistant. All the stress of decorating, planning, timeline, vendor checks was all lifted off my shoulders when I hired Jaclyn. She is so personable, reassuring, and positive about the entire day. I started planning my wedding from Minnesota when the big day was in California and I had no troubles all because of her. The week before the wedding my makeup trial didn't go well, guess who helped me find someone, Jaclyn! My table numbers didn't come on time from Etsy, guess who borrowed me table numbers, Jaclyn!! Jaclyn seriously took any stress off my shoulders and she made our day SO stress free. I was sitting in my Airbnb getting ready for the wedding, very relaxed and my photographer said "wow you are a very chill bride, most brides running around freaking out!" you know what my answer was? "Yeah my wedding planner has everything under control, and left me with nothing to do on the day of so I could soak in every bit of this once in a life time day!" If someone came up to me at the reception to ask me a question Jaclyn was right behind me asking the person to please ask her or the assistant so I can enjoy my night. I promise you that you will not be disappointed with Jaclyn. She listened to me and decorated my reception venue absolutely beautifully and just the way I wanted it. We fell in love with her and her love for weddings from the start, even my husband said "wow everyone needs a Jaclyn on their wedding day!"

Jaclyn is AMAZING. You WANT her there on your wedding day (read that again – because YOU DO). My now husband and I said on multiple occasions leading up to our big day & after our wedding: Thank goodness for Jaclyn”. Her cheerful attitude, wealth of knowledge and attention to detail helped us out a ton as we had booked her as a full service wedding planner. She attended every meeting, took copious notes and had everything filed on a dashboard for easy reference. We had a few last minute hiccups w/vendor changes last minute, Jaclyn handled it swiftly and with ease. On our wedding day, Jaclyn was an absolute DREAM. She had everything under control, kept everyone on schedule, handled any and all questions and dealt with several obstacles. We love her and would recommend her to anyone. We miss her already!

Working with Jaclyn was awesome! I just pulled of a proposal that has all our friends, family, and social media buzzing. Working with Jaclyn allowed me to bring to life a completely unique and intricate surprise proposal. I came to her with a plan and she helped me to take it all the way to the finish line by coordinating all the external support entities (chef, videographers, florist, rental agency) to ensure that come game day everyone was where they needed to be, on time, and ready to pull off the surprise without a hitch. I HIGHLY recommend Jaclyn! I had the pleasure of working with Jaclyn at a styled shoot recently...which turned out beautifully. Being a vendor in the industry myself I have seen it all, and I can not say enough about how sweet, professional and personable Jaclyn is. She planned every aspect of the shoot and it turned out absolutely perfect. From her emails to her presence at meetings and the day of the shoot, she was on it and so wonderful! Her name says it all...IN THE DETAILS...she is indeed in the details and so good at what she does. Jaclyn was a PLEASURE to work with while planning my wedding! I hired her for day-of coordination but that didn't stop her from reaching out several times prior to the wedding to plan, recommend vendors, or take my phone calls when I needed to ask a question. I can have a hard time letting go of control and letting others do things for me, but Jaclyn made me feel comfortable handing my vision over to her for my big day and I can't thank her enough. She made everything look perfect and pulled it all together into my dream day. In the Details took care of everything on my daughter's wedding day. Jaclyn is an expert at problem solving and ensuring that all aspects of the wedding run according to plan. When my oldest daughter got married years ago, she didn't have a coordinator. I thought we could handle it but it was much more overwhelming than I ever expected. Coming from a vendor’s perspective in this wedding industry, it can be extremely rare to find genuinely friendly and highly organized people. — I recently did a styled shoot with In the Details and from the very beginning Jaclyn’s vision was very clear; her emails were incredibly informative and her communication was great. It was an absolute pleasure having Jaclyn as our day of coordinator! Ever since my first phone call with Jaclyn, I knew right away that she was the person that I would trust running the show on our big day. During the initial planning stages of the wedding, we communicated via phone calls. Jaclyn was always very punctual, professional, and attentive. She always listened to my ideas and gave me her two cents for anything that she thought could be improved based on her experiences as a planner/coordinator. Our next meeting was in person about 2-3 weeks from the wedding date. After finally meeting Jaclyn in person, my husband and I knew that we had made the right choice for our day of coordinator! During our meeting, Jaclyn went over the proposed timeline based on what we had discussed with her during our initial phone call and also made changes to the timeline based on our preferences. It honestly felt like we were chatting with a friend rather than conducting a business meeting because that is the type of personality that Jaclyn exudes. Now onto the day of the wedding! We could not have asked for a more perfect day. We did not have to worry about anything because Jaclyn was so on top of it! The thing we liked best about Jaclyn is that she made decisions the day of based on what she thought we would like because she had already spent time getting to know us. For example, when we originally planned the set up for our tables, we did not even think of having stands for our table numbers, we were just planning to leave them free standing. Jaclyn made the call to put the table numbers on some stands and the tables all looked amazing! Another thing she did for us was find an extra easel to put up our seating chart so that we could also have our welcome sign inside the reception room. We only had one easel and originally planned on switching off the sign, but since Jaclyn worked her magic to get us another easel, our wedding looked even better with our welcome sign in the reception! I would definitely recommend Jaclyn to my friends! Not only does she have an amazing personality but also her dedication to her work is outstanding. With all that being said, “In The Details” really lived up to it’s name.
