re were no issues with keeping the schedule that I provided on track, and assisted with any sound needs throughout the day (officiant, speeches, etc.). They played all songs requested by the bride and groom and read the room well. I got so many compliments about how the band kept the dance floor going. Prior to the wedding, whenever I had a question, Steve would promptly reply to my emails and was very accommodating to my requests. Would recommend! So worth it!

t out to breakfast and the wait staff at Madden’s even said they heard how much fun our music and reception was and that they were jealous of the bartenders and staff that were working it the night before! We found 'In the Fields' by doing some google searches and they came up with a lot of great reviews! Our biggest priority for our wedding day was to have a live band at the afterparty. We wanted a live band that wasn't overly formal, we love going to small town bars or street fairs where there is a band and they can really play to the crowd getting everyone dancing, we wanted a band that had this energy. We found 'In the Fields' and loved that they emphasized on playing to the crowd, no set playlist just vibes. They had a show at Blarney's, a local college town bar, we went to go check them out and they really livened up the place, everyone was dancing and if a song was clearing the dance floor they'd just roll into another. We went home and immediately booked! Wedding planning can be a lot of coordination and stress, but communicating with Steve was no problem. I put full trust into him that they'd show up and do their thing. All I had to do was fill out a packet with our information and him and his band just showed up and did it all I don't even know how they kept on top of it. If it wasn't our wedding day I would feel bad at the amount I didn't speak to Steve or the band members that day. But I think that shows the amount of professionalism they bring to the day, they didn't need any direction from me they just showed up, set up, followed the venue's instructions and livened up the night! Before the wedding they ask about what our vibe of the wedding is and what attire they should be wearing. We were pretty open that we wanted their vibe to be casual and wanted more laid back fun live band vibes so they could wear whatever! I was impressed that they went to the length to ask though, I thought it was very considerate! I highly recommend upgrading to get the lighting and full stage! I think it really elevated the experience to feel like a street dance versus a traditional wedding where the band or dj is sharing a space with the dancing. Their stage and lights were next level! I still can't believe the value we got with ‘In the Fields.’ Hearing some of my friends booking more "well-known" wedding bands and the cost for them is crazy! Thanks again so much everyone still talks about our reception!

I also loved the option for acoustic during supper! In the Fields came highly recommended to me from a friend that had the band play at her wedding. She said they were awesome to work with and did a great job. Thanks to her referral and the band's competitive pricing (cheaper than a few ND bands I checked with) we decided to have them at our wedding too. My dad doesn't have great hearing and he hates when he's at wedding receptions and can't have a conversation with someone because the music is too loud, but he said that wasn't a problem at all at my wedding. To the band: Thank you so much for playing at our wedding reception! Everyone had such a great time & provided lots of compliments on the band. I honestly never even worried about you, and you were patient with any delays we had in the schedule. I would recommend you to anyone that asks & if I ever need another band in the future, you're on the top of my list to call.

through browsing google and wedding websites. The reviews were incredible, so my husband (then fiance) and I decided to see them live at an event they were doing for a community celebration. It was easy to find, as they list their bookings on their website. We loved them right away and decided to book! They are incredibly talented musicians, and the way they “play to the crowd” is perfect. They matched the vibe of our wedding guests and catered to what was getting people on the dance floor. They also worked with us before our day in planning what songs we did and did not want played, and went above and beyond MC’ing for our grand entrance and special dances. They also learned a few songs just for us which was so special! I appreciated that they asked what we would like them to wear and if we had a preference on their stage set up / band banner being put up or not. They really catered to the ‘look’ we were going for and respected our choices. The band even let me play the drums for one song (after a few too many drinks and a lot of false confidence LOL). Thank you for the best night! We will remember it forever.

ply be a mistake. We were searching for Wedding Bands and had watched multiple bands at multiple Town Festivals and events last spring/summer. We ran into our neighbor Bruce Pervin out one night scouting bands and he told us about In The Fields. We inquired shortly after with Steve and he was able to move a previously scheduled public gig for us and it was set. We are forever grateful to Bruce for the recommendation. In the Fields met and surpassed our expectations. They learned and played all the songs we asked of them, and performed them beautifully. Steve has a motor that does not quit. He sang with high energy and no breaks between songs for an hour straight, for 3 different sets throughout the night. Our dance floor was full all night long. We have had so many guests of our wedding reach out to tell us "Our Band" was the best entertainment they have ever seen at a wedding. In the Fields made our wedding. Laura and I are so thankful to Steve and the Band. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

They didn't miss a beat and played everything I needed at the moment I needed it to be played. From the pre ceremony, the ceremony, the cocktail hour all the way through the last song of the reception! They matched the energy from the crowd all night! I had so many compliments from my guests that it was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding. My guests stayed and DANCED all night! They were most certainly the right choice if you don't want to worry about your music at all. They were so professional and came with all the energy my guests needed!

They also provided microphones and other equipment for our ceremony and speeches which was a very nice perk as our venue didn't. For the reception they played based on the vibes of the guests and matched their energy. They also learned several new songs for our father/daughter and mother/son dances as well as the last dance- which was so special! My husband and I could not stop talking about how amazing In the Fields was. We would highly recommend this band to anyone who is planning a wedding or other event. It was such an elevated experience over a traditional DJ and really got people on the dance floor having fun!

all our expectations and was amazing, we would love to hire them again once we found another event to host. In the Fields was so great to work with. First off they moved two bookings so they could perform at our wedding I am so grateful that they were willing to work with our back and forth. Communication with the band was simple, they were very easy to talk to and get a hold of with questions. Every member of the band was very professional and so polite they were an absolute treat to have at the wedding. They came well-dressed but still casual which is exactly what I wanted. Everything I wanted they made happen and it all flowed really smoothly, very easy group of guys to work with. In the Fields was so accommodating, they were fine with us making requests in the contract about line dances and polkas and when the wrong song for one line dance came on, they were fast to find the right one. Also, they played the chicken dance and the limbo twice for us just because we were having so much fun with it. They were truly watching how we reacted and catered to what we were enjoying. We read some where that they were good at reading the crowd and they were not joking they nailed it. I knew majority of the songs they played so it was upbeat and fun dancing all night long. Myself and others were blown away with how great they are at transitioning from one song to the next, they don’t take breaks in between each song it is just straight singing until break time. Amazing! I don’t know much about music and sound systems but I was worried how it would sound in a big shop. We hung lots of fabric hoping that would help with the echo but honestly, I not sure if it was needed. I could understand the words of each song just fine and there was no echo that I could tell. Their volume was great my dad wasn’t complaining about it being to loud and his ears ringing the next day so that is a huge win. The volume they played at was also really great people could still talk to each other without yelling but it was still loud enough that it felt like a concert. I would rate their value at 10! I have nothing negative to say about In the Fields, they were amazing to work with, listen to, and just have for the wedding. I was a little worried because I hadn’t seen anyone use a band for their wedding before but now, I think everyone should! Especially In the Fields they are so worth it and they won’t let you down. Great performance, great group of guys, and great music!

Throughout the whole process this did not change - he was by far the most responsive vendor we had, which for all you brides/grooms out there you know how big of a deal that is in itself. We picked the most popular package which included ceremony music, cocktail music, and 4.5 hours of dancing/live music. The packet we filled out ahead of the big day was super detailed, which I think ultimately led to a very successful day. Steve learned two songs for our ceremony and the band learned another song for the dance. The number of people that complimented us and our families on the band is countless. We will forever recommend this band to anyone that will listen to us!

getting married next fall and wanted you guys, but you were already booked! Shows how awesome you were. Our guests had (and still are saying!) great things about you, plus the floor was packed all night, which is a clear sign of engagement and success. We loved all the different genres as well as eras. There was 80s, 90s, current, and our guests loved all of it! Additionally, they worked well with the bridesmaids to pull off an amazing ABBA bit. At first, we didn't know how the dance was going to go. Inside or outside? It was tough with COVID. We ended up having it out on the deck, and it was amazing! Sure it was chilly, but everyone kept moving and dancing so it ended up being a perfect night. The whole atmosphere was exactly what we envisioned. We (and our guests) LOVED you guys and were so glad to have you for our wedding.

we googled best wedding bands. We found a bunch, went out to see 3-4 before we saw In the Fields. When we saw them at the thirsty otter we decided they were the band for us. We would have went to see them earlier, but they were not performing close to us, so we had to wait a couple weeks. Band was great leading up to, setting up and taking down. Sound was great, even in a small area. They wore our (special) tee shirts, interacted with the guests just the right amount. We kind of knew we were going to know we would like the set list. Having a sheet of all the songs you play is awesome. Loved that they learned our first dance song. We recommend them to everyone that asks us about who played at our wedding, we also tell people that a band is the right way to go for a reception, and then recommend them.​

In the fields also played our wedding ceremony and incorporated our niece singing a song with them.
