DJ Gorms truly delivered — 10000%! He kept the dance floor packed and energetic all night long, and was so friendly and fun to work with. We had so many guests tell us he was the best wedding DJ they had ever experienced. He listened to our song preferences perfectly, used them as a foundation to build an incredible playlist, and his transitions and mixes were flawless. He truly made it the best night ever! The photo booth was also a huge hit with our guests. We loved receiving the digital link afterward, along with a printed keepsake book filled with all the photos and notes from our friends and family — such a special touch! We would highly recommend In the Mix (and DJ Gorms!) to anyone planning their wedding. They went above and beyond to make our celebration unforgettable.

The packages that they have to offer are affordable and make the planning process so smooth. I also loved their online client portal. It made it super easy to plan out my songs and photos. Mary was a breath of fresh air to work with. I met her at the first bridal expo I went to and I am so happy I did. She was so hands on with communicating with me through everything. She did an AMAZING job on our engagement pictures and got them back to us so quick! Mary was so helpful on our actual wedding day. She rolled with the shenanigans of our groomsmen. Her creativity to find shots despite the rain on our wedding day just blew my mind. She went above and beyond what she had to when it came to our wedding day when we could not find our venue coordinator to help with a facilities issue. I am so so happy that we got to work with Mary. Emcee Katie was so awesome. She kept everyone in check through lining up for our intros. She kept the night flowing and made sure everyone was having a great time. She was able to adapt and change things last minute when we had to cut out some dances and made it so no one but us even knew. Her vibes were amazing all around! our DJ/officiant Ian fit so perfect for the vibe we were going for. He made our ceremony short, sweet and lighthearted which is exactly what we wanted. He was able to cut out parts of the ceremony (mid ceremony) that our daughter was not cooperating for. He didnt stick to the script which we loved because it sound natural and not robotic. He had the dance floor packed and made sure to mix in a few of the Trolls songs that our kids love. The photo booth was a huge hit too! There were so many props and the pictures themselves came out clear. Everyone absolutely loved it. I could keep going forever with how happy I was with In The Mix. Keith was the perfect person to work the 360 photobooth, he was fun, energetic, and everyone had a ball with him. Harry, Harry, Harry! Not only was he an amazing Emcee and knows how to control the crowd; but he saved the day for Kyle and I. We found out late Friday evening (the night before our wedding) that our Priest Father Mooney was in the hospital and suddenly became ill (he is currently doing okay and on the mend) but Harry came in and officiated our wedding ceremony. Name a BETTER person .. I'll wait. He did this all last minute and our ceremony was personal, touching, and absolutely beautiful. I received so many compliments for this team. When I was planning the wedding, I couldn't have asked for a better One Stop Shop, as you are truly juggling so many responsibilities leading up to the day; to have almost all my services in one amazing group, who exhibited amazing communication and guidance throughout the year of planning, was truly a godsend. I would recommend them to anyone who asks. To start, we first had contact with Harry McCloskey, who instantly contacted us, with Mary McIntyre included, to get us started with them. He was so welcoming and helpful, which instantly made me choose them. Mary became our primary point of contact, and I cannot sing her praises enough. There's always a level of awkwardness when first getting photos done, but Mary was so fun to be around that we immediately felt comfortable during our engagement session. My husband and I couldn't stop talking about how fun it was after that session, and it built up our excitement for the wedding day. Mary was absolutely a crucial member of our team on 11/03, she made sure we were all on schedule, and our preview photos are already so beautiful that I am counting down the days until we get the full album. Our videographer, John, was amazing, and worked side-by-side with Mary to document our wedding day. He was extremely kind and personable, and the excitement that he and Mary exuded during our photos/video, especially when they got a great shot and jumped up and down with happiness, made me and my husband more excited with each photo/video shot taken. A special shout out to our Emcee Matt Gormley (DJ Gorms) , who ran the show during the ceremony and reception, and our DJ Dave Torres (DJ Apex) for the absolutely spectacular list of music that was played during the day. Matt met with us a week before and was able to sit with us to go over our choices for music. He offered great insight on what the day would look like, answered all questions we had, and then had us included in a chat with DJ Apex to ensure we have direct communication for any additional questions or music additions prior to our wedding day. Korey, Apex killed it with music and emcee. Jackie exceeded our wishes on photography and worked with a bride who hates attention lol. And we cannot wait to see Gavin's vision come to life in our video. Photobooth, lighting, and all the add ons made our wedding so special. 10/10 with this vendor, you can't go wrong!

kept the energy high all night long and kept the crowd on their feet with ease! We had so many people tell us St James was the best wedding DJ they had ever seen! The combination of DJ and emcee was great as one is able to focus on the music and the crowd while the other is able to tend to requests, motivate the crowd, make announcements which Harry did beautifully even checking with me a few times throughout the night to see how we thought things were going and if we wanted any changes made. They had several add-ons we used including a monogram, glow tubes, and also got our photo booth/videographer all from the same place! The photo booth was amazing and we even got a book as a memento with a copy of all the photos taken! Our videographer worked so well with the photographer we had and they made it feel like they weren’t even there so we could cut loose and enjoy ourselves. I would recommend In the mix Event group to anyone especially for weddings, they’re not your grandparents DJ company that is going to play line dance songs and oldies all night, they know how to get a party started and keep it going all night long! I searched the depths of the internet until I finally stumbled upon In the Mix. When I spoke with the owner Harry McCloskey and told him what my (now) husband and I were looking for, he immediately connected us with Joe Sanchez and David Torres and after talking with all of them, I just knew that they were the right people to get the party started at our wedding. Joe and David KILLED it at our wedding. They were so kind and fun and knew exactly what to play and when to play it. They had everyone from Gen Z to boomers on the dance floor as they danced to everything from Gloria Estefan’s Conga to September from Earth, Wind & Fire to Beyonce’s Love on Top. They danced it up with my family, passed me the mic several times to belt out some of my favorite songs and overall created the most positive, fun and amazing multicultural vibe at our wedding that was inclusive and loving. To this day, my mom STILL talks about how amazing the dance party was at our wedding and we owe that to the work of Joe and Dave. Behind the scenes, Harry worked with us as we changed our wedding date several times during the pandemic. He was incredibly responsive and flexible and we are so grateful that after several date changes, we were still able to work with Joe and Dave. If you love to dance, appreciate a DJ + Emcee who know how to read the room, are looking for people who reflect your community and who are respectful and overall great people — hire In the Mix! He put us immediately at ease and worked with my rattled daughter to calm her concerns and quickly make us realize that everything happens for a reason. Harry assigned Billy (as the emcee) and Joel (as DJ) to our event. After a few more calls with Billy and the team, all details were worked out and we were ready for the big day. Fast forward to the reception, to say that Billy and Joel were professional, is an understatement. They were friendly and personable, very adept at reading the room and kept our guests engaged for the entire 4.5 hour reception. Once the dance floor was open, I can honestly say that at no point was there a lull in the excitement. The dance floor was PACKED all night long. To a person, my guests all LOVED the entertainment, with many asking for business cards for (hopefully) future use. We have heard from many of our guests after the event and all had glowing reviews. Most saying it was the best wedding they had ever attended, with a large part of that being the entertainment. As we all know, a good DJ / emcee can make or break an event. In this case Billy and Joel made me look like a genius for choosing them to DJ our event. In fact, we had all gratuity envelopes prepared prior to the event, so I handed them out at the conclusion of the event. The day after, I felt compelled to Venmo additional gratuity money to Billy and Joel as I really wanted to show my gratitude to them both for the excellent job they did for us. THEY WERE THAT GOOD!

We DID NOT CANCEL OUR DAUGHTERS WEDDING EVENT. The venue could not host and the DJ could not guarantee that they could legally operate within the current CDC parameters. Despite this, In The Mix thinks they are entitled to keep our $950 deposit . Seriously? You get to keep a thousand dollars of a young couples money just because? Newsflash, there is not a single other event ITM could have booked under the Order and we should not be the ones to pay for it. What a great gig! Cancellations for the next 8 weeks to the tune of nearly $1K a pop? 3 gigs a weekend, $24K in your pocket at the expense of young couples struggling at the start and dealing with heartbreak. They did not cancel. The Emergency Order invalidated your contract. You have no right to keep the deposit. Shame on you.

wedding slowly spiraled into a Harry Potter themed wedding from the butterbeer signature drink to the Hogwarts castle ice luge. Harry surprised me on our wedding day by having the ability to create a Daily Prophet style photo booth, which all of guests loved. He even was able to incorporate our wax seal emblem, which was our initials we had designed by our calligrapher, as the center light moving along the dance floor. The dance floor remained packed all night long, and we loved that every age group was out there dancing the night away. Harry was amazing at keeping the party going and the music selection was perfect. We trusted Harry and let him choose the songs, and his team delivered perfectly. If you want to blow your guests away and have the night of your life, I would highly recommend In the Mix Event Group. They have various packages at great prices too. We chose the top-tier package with up-lighting and a photo booth, and we were extremely satisfied with the outcome. Our guests have still not stopped raving about the great time they had, and the awesome Harry Potter themed photo booth.
