10000/10. Mo and Dante were the DJ/MC duo for my wedding and I cannot recommend them enough. All of my guests complimented them. They communicated so well with my husband and I and made sure all my song choices were correct beforehand. Our wedding was during the day so I was a little nervous that people wouldn't want to dance. These two kept the party going and knew exactly what songs to play. Highly highly highly recommend these two!!!

In the Mood DJ was amazing. Jimmy was great, so personable. I was so happy, he kept people dancing the entire evening. The music he played was a great mix that I got so many compliments from our guests.

They did an amazing job keeping my guests entertained and dancing. They were easy to work with and very accommodating to us! We loved them!

The best decision we made for our wedding day was In The Mood and DJ Rob! He ran the entire day from start to finish and kept our entire crowd both entertained and engaged. He was so helpful during the planning process as well. Our guests are still talking about how great the music was and how easy it was to relax and enjoy the day. WOW! These guys are truly the best.Rob has done all my husband's family parties for years, but seriously took our wedding to another level. Rob and DJ Rusty truly did an amazing job at Flowerfields on June 3rd. I told Rob I didn't want anyone sitting during our wedding and he absolutely delivered. I am still getting compliments on how great our dj was. Everyone had so much fun and Rob was so easy to work. with ,played everything we wanted. I only gave it 5 stars because that is all it would allow. The Ventian deserves a TEN !!!!! I have people, calling, texting, messaging me about that it was the best wedding. The food was out of this world. The chateaubriand needed only a fork to cut it. The cocktail hour was a major success. Daisy set this up for us and she was on point with everything. There was not one person out of 200 that had even the slightest negative comment to say.The service was impeccable. I know it sounds to good to be true but it is the absolute truth. I am recommending this place to everyone I know !!!!! Thank you Ventian Yacht Club for making my daughters wedding the most amazing day to look back on. I highly recommend In the Mood DJs. They are affordable and reliable. Rob was our MC and he did a wonderful job getting everyone on the dance floor (friends and older family members). He played a variety of music but most importantly, all songs that my husband and I enjoy. We also had a large song request list and he was able to play all of the songs except one. If you're getting married at Insignia (down the street from In the Mood), you must go with these guys. They know the place well and understand the flow of the day with dinner stations and the layout of the rooms. Thank you In The Mood!

Rob and James were the reason our wedding was as fun as it was. We've already heard from so many of our guests how great the music and energy was. My only request was to make sure they played music that everyone would like and that's exactly what happened. I can't wait to see the video to relive the day and see how much fun everyone had. DJ Cleveland and MC Rob did an incredible job at my wedding. They had everyone up dancing and picked the perfect music for the crowd. Rob had the perfect way of getting people to dance without being intrusive. Loved everything about this company!

Excellent job!! A pleasure to work with. Would absolutely work with them again. Rob was AMAZING!!! He kept the energy up all night. He communicated with us throughout the evening, but never bothered us. It meant so much to me that our happiness clearly meant so much to him. Angelo was absolutely incredible. We provided a list of 20 or so must play songs, and In The Mood completely tailored a playlist for us. Most of my guests spent the entire night on the dance floor! My guests LOVED the photo booth, it really added to the festivities :) In The Mood put together a photo montage of my husband and I growing up - this was probably one of the most memorable moments of the whole night, and it was so beautifully done that it literally brought tears to my eyes. Countless guests have commented on what a phenomenal job In The Mood did - the right DJ is so important for such a big day and I can absolutely say that if I had it to do over again I would hire them again in a second. I can't thank them enough for adding to my already special day!!!

Before my wedding I would have screamed from the roof tops that In the mood was the dj for you. They were amazing as they were taking my money. That being said, I wouldn’t recommend them now. There were many, many things that went wrong on my wedding day including half of my bridal party being introduced incorrectly (some names were never said at all), my dinner singer was also my MC which ruined the whole “wow of the singer” in the first place and then he topped it off by telling my guests to be quiet so they could hear him among other rude comments he made throughout the night (Charlie is his name), songs not being played or being played at the wrong time and my videographer not coming to all parts of my day despite my contract stating they would be there “from beginning of ceremony through end of reception.” When I went to speak to the Owner Mike and the man who sold us all of this stuff Rob, they were less than apologetic. They said they heard it was a good party and they don’t understand why I am upset. I was also told that my complaints are “trivial.” I would not recommend In the Mood to be at your baby’s first birthday, let alone the most important day of your life. They are rude, unapologetic and made excuses for all my complaints. The worst part was it took them all of 2 seconds to throw their workers under the bus. They blamed their videographer for not coming to the in between but really it was because they didn’t tell him. They were unprofessional when he proceeded to tell me that my maid of honor who wrote a small yelp review “had no right to write a review and it was not nice and not fair” even though her entrance was messed up. I was incredibly disappointed in the services provided for my wedding but even more so by how the owner of this business and his right hand man carried themselves and responded to the situation. My advice to anyone looking for a DJ company is that if you want a glorified IPOD then In the mood is the dj for you but if you have requests, details, arrangements and wants, then take your money elsewhere because these men don’t know how to get the job done right.

In The Mood just did our wedding last weekend and Rob and the crew were AMAZING!!! Rob handled every request we had without the blink of an eye. They had every single person on the dance floor the whole time. They knew exactly what songs to play and when. It can be scary picking vendors you've never used before for such an important event, but rest assured when you hire In The Mood you will get the best, most professional service you could ask for. They will definitely be our "go to" DJ for all occasions! Thanks guys!!!!!

Fantastic DJ. We were really selective about our DJ because that's what people remember long after the wedding is over. Rob gave us exactly what we were looking for - great music, great energy, and that way of getting everyone on the dance floor. We got good vibes the moment we met him and we are so glad we went with it. So many of my guests asked about them afterwards. If you want a DJ who will make your wedding be a blast, do yourself a favor and hire this DJ.

The DJ was one of the harder vendors for me to pick. I'm not super current with the music scene. I'm not hip and fresh like the rest of my generation (mid 20 year olds). I have to be honest, I mostly chose this vendor because they seemed to play a wide variety of music, for a more reasonable price than any other place. They did my ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We asked if they could play a variety of 80's, 90's, salsa, and current music because my family is white and his family is Puerto Rican. My DJ didn't really play any salsa music until it was requested by someone. But I had people come to me to compliment how great the selection of music was. I honestly wasn't really listening to the music because I was running around in a frenzy the whole time. I personally hate dancing, so whenever I was tired of dancing during the father-daughter dance and the first dance with husband and wife, I gave the DJ a cut signal, and he cut the music to something else so we could stop. I definitely appreciated that! The only reason I gave In the Mood DJ a 4 star rating, is because when my husband and I asked them if they could play a weird genre of music, called electro-swing, they didn't seem very accommodating. They ended up not playing any even though they wrote it down on their write-up sheet. Overall, I was very happy with this DJ. My guests had a great time, and in the end, that's all the matters, right?

In the Mood was amazing from beginning to end! We worked closely with Rob (our MC) who was more than accommodating to our requests. We told him our vision and he made it happen. Everything they do is professional from their office to the way they ran the party. Rob is reliable, professional, responsive, and helpful. We hired them to do the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, percussionist, and video everything was perfect. We met with a lot of DJs and felt the most comfortable with them. Rob promised me that we would have the party of our lives, and we truly did. They knew exactly how much to say, and when and what music to play when. They did exactly everything we asked. Our live percussion (Howie), who was also the best of the best. Our Videographer was also amazing he arrived on time, took some shots of our first look, and definitely captured all the great moments at our ceremony, and reception. We received our DVD this past Friday which was extremely quick from what we’ve heard and the quality of the DVD is great never a dull moment in our video. We also used them for uplighting the room looked absolutely stunning. We used a combination of purple and blues. We would 100% recommend them to every bride who is considering a DJ. They are a truly amazing and we thank them for making our day so great!

In the mood DJ did a AWESOME job. They got everyone on the dance floor and were very attentive and focused on my husband and I. It was obvious that they love their job and wanted every person there to have a great time. We also booked the vocalist and Photobooth through them. And we are so happy we did!!! The vocalist did an amazing job!!! I would absolutely use them in the future and recommend them for your wedding if you want to have a good time :)

I would definitely recommend this company to future brides. The DJ and MC kept the party going all night and people had a great time on the dance floor. One of the best things about the music was how they mashed up the songs I requested. I have never heard that at a wedding before and it made our night unique.

We know Harry and he did a great job at our wedding. I definitely recommend In The Mood. Very reasonable and they play everything!

Good selection of music although did not play certain requested songs from the Bride and Groom. Difficult to understand the DJ so many people missed important pieces (cake cutting/father daughter dance etc).

They were awesome! There were always people on the dance floor, they played all the music I wanted them to. Harry was the MC and he was great! I would highly recommend this DJ!
