fessional. We did a zoom call with her first to get a feel of what we were needing for our ceremony. She was very attentive and took note of details from the beginning. We then met up with her in person to get into further details and it felt like meeting up with an old friend! We hashed out some wedding details and any issues we were confused about, she helped guide us towards what options were available and what would work best for us. She sent us a questionnaire about two months out from our wedding which we filled out separately and returned to her which then she crafted a most beautiful ceremony. We both teared up a bit just reading it through the first time. She allowed us unlimited revisions but there wasn't much to revise since it was so perfect for us! She was there to run the rehearsal and was there for us through the ceremony. She told our story so well... One of my close friends boyfriends (who I had only met once before) said he found himself tearing up listening to our story that Marilyn captivated so well. There's no doubt Marilyn was a good decision regardless of religious affiliation (both of our families are very catholic and we very much did not have a catholic ceremony). It was a sweet short ceremony that was exactly what we needed. The way Marilyn added small anecdotes and included a hand tying ceremony for us truly made our ceremony special. We had a handful of friends and family members offer to officiate but I don't think anyone would have crafted the magical experience as well as Marilyn could.

You hear people talk about how unique and cool a reception is, but you don't often hear raving compliments about the ceremony - but we had an outpouring of praise for how well Marilyn created the ceremony. On top of all of that, she was available for the rehearsal, was involved, and is taking care of the paperwork for the marriage certificate. I would recommend Marilyn to anyone getting married.

At no point was any pressure ever put on us to do work, we felt like she alleviated so much stress and actually made the process of planning the ceremony fun and special. I loved how our love story was the centerpiece of the ceremony. We had multiple guests come up to us at the end and even over the coming weeks and tell us how unique and loving our ceremony was and how much they thought it perfectly fit who we are. It was fun, casual, funny and beautiful, everything we wanted and we got so many rave reviews! Everyone loved the stories she built in to our ceremony. I absolutely loved the process of working with Marilyn, she sat down with us to understand what kind of ceremony we wanted and we had a lot of fun filling out a questionnaire for her to build the ceremony out of… I found out some really lovely things my now husband thinks about me as a result! We decided to still have our big ceremony and reception as planned, and Marilyn worked with us to tweak that ceremony as well so that it was new for everybody Who was in attendance at the first wedding but just as amazing for everybody who’s first time it was hearing. I cannot recommend Marilyn enough, she is so pleasant and fun and accommodating and she will give you the exact ceremony that you want, no matter what it is.
