inContrast Images is a wedding photography business based out of Raleigh, NC, dedicated to capturing love stories in a way that is true to each and every couple. Elisa explored various mediums and subjects in photography school, and in 2007, found her love for wedding and portrait photography, realizing a passion for capturing stories of people and their relationships. She has been honored to document all the milestones in her clients' lives ever since. inContrast Images’ style highlights not only the monumental moments of a wedding, but all of the beautiful in-between moments unfolding along the way, which make each couple's day so special. Using a blend of documentary and fine art photography, Elisa’s approach showcases weddings in an honest, artful, and beautiful way, resulting in photos that will be cherished for a lifetime. inContrast Images is available for events all over North Carolina, and happy to travel for destination weddings. A second shooter is included standard in every wedding package, and packages can be tailor-suited to couples based off of their needs. They were never in the way during the wedding, and struck a really nice balance of capturing the beauty of the day through artistic photos and the joyous moments on the dance floor and in-between the "staged" shots. When I shopped around for wedding photographers I remember thinking that some of the photographer prices were just astronomical. Elisa's prices were fair and, looking at our photos, I can't imagine any of those other vendors could have done better. They even used a film camera for some of the shots which was just so special. Working with them was an incredible experience, and on top of all of that we loved all of our pictures!

. We had a pleasant experience from the time we booked them up to the cancellation. Based off of the Wedding Day worksheet alone, I knew they would capture everything I wanted and more! These folks are not only talented, but they are organized, kind, and if you get stuck in a pandemic. they'll do whatever they can to work something out with you.

matched my price point and because they had great reviews, and I'm so thankful I did! Throughout the whole process, Elisa was honest, detailed, and thoughtful. I had a short reception and an informal afterparty the next town over, and Elisa and Trey drove down 45 minutes to the other location to hang out with us and capture some candids of us all just having fun.
I was worried because my husband is a strong/silent type, and usually when he poses for pictures, he has a very fake, awkward smile. But he has a beautiful smile and laugh when he's with me, and with a combination of their great sense of humor and knack for capturing great candid moments, I now have a huge selection of GORGEOUS shots where my husband and I just look plain happy and beautiful, not staged and frozen. Elisa and Trey were just fun to hang out with, and I'm an introvert :]
While they were taking pictures, Trey and Elisa were very particular (put your hand here, scoot just a little this way, look this way) and I was slightly skeptical...but when the pictures came back, every single picture was spectacular because of that care. Looking back on our wedding day they were literally everywhere capturing every moment. Tres and Elisa are naturals at what they do whether it’s a detail shot (I literally was obsessed with a table setting photo of salt pepper when I discovered them) or an up-close portrait. They are responsive, helpful, and creative. ristmas in downtown Raleigh and we all just walked around. Elisa and Trey seemed to know the perfect places to take us during the session too. My bridal session was a blast as well. I brought two of my bridesmaids and it never felt awkward walking around posing in a wedding dress while people in the background watched. Finally, the wedding day Elisa and Trey were amazing. I've had so many compliments about how they seemed to always be there to take photographs of every important part of the wedding. After looking back at my wedding pictures I was able to relive the day and also see soo much that I didn't even realize happened. The only downfall we had with the photographers was that it seemed to take a really long time to get any pictures back. They did know however that I needed my bridal portraits back by a certain time and I received them when they said I would. For our engagement and wedding photos it took a good amount of time past the 4-8 weeks they said it would take. After recieveing the pictures both times though the quality made up for the wait.

It was also imperative that our photographers not be in the middle of any moments, but be on the sidelines and get the images that they could, which Elisa and Tres did as well. They both have such a good way of making you feel yourself in front of a camera. My husband is not a fan of taking pictures, but they made him feel comfortable and made the best of the situation. They kept in great contact with us leading up to the wedding, and provided such great coverage the day of. Having two photographers was definitely a plus, they were able to capture so many moments so completely with the different angles. ade the process easy and enjoyable from start to finish. They are talented, efficient, and organized but also instantly put us at ease with their relaxed and fun personalities. We were able to get all the pictures we requested and more thanks to their ability to make us laugh and smile even with weather changes, pouting flower girls, etc. And since we were from out of town and unable to do an engagement session which came with our photography package, they came back the day after our wedding to capture some great beach shots and family photos that we can't wait to see. They clearly love what they do and work so well together. While I haven't seen the final product yet, I'm confident that our pictures will be wonderful! eat mix of us, friends, and family in both posed and candid shots. When everybody circled up to dance the hora (traditional Jewish wedding dance), Elisa was right in the middle capturing the moment! We also had a photobooth that was a huge hit and a lot of fun. They were also very flexible. Our 8 hour package went by faster than we imagined, and we asked them to stay for an extra hour - they were happy to do so and let us trade in part of our print credit from the package so that we didn't have to write them an additional check at the end of the night. r meeting one-on-one with Elisa we decided to purchase a package that included an engagement session. We had so much fun during our engagement session. Tres and Elisa were not at all concerned with the time and number of outfit changes I insisted on. They took as many photos as they could of us before we ran out of daylight. We had a destination wedding in Charleston, SC and couldn’t have been more excited for them to travel with us. Our wedding celebration lasted 2 days. They joined us the night before the wedding and shot casual photos of us on Folly Beach with family and friends. There were at least 50 guests at the "pre-wedding beach party" and everyone was caught on camera at least once. They captured precious moments: laughter, tears, actions shots of my nephew playing football on the beach and our 75 year grandma “getting down” on the dance floor. Our wedding day was perfect! Tres were by far our first choice. They were prompt, professional, friendly, affordable and flexible. They worked with us to create a custom photography package that suited our wants and budget. When I asked if they would be willing to shoot some in film they jumped at the opportunity, producing some of our favorite images. Amidst the chaos, coordinating with them was seamless. I shared images that I liked and they were able to deliver the exact images I was hoping for... Warm, intimate, candid. Family and friends the way we know them.
