Their commitment only reinforced how special this business is! Our cake was absolutely beautiful and incredibly delicious - it was moist, flavorful, beautiful and exactly what we hoped for. Every dessert on the table was outstanding, including our vegan cupcakes, which were just as delicious as everything else. Guests raved about the desserts during the wedding and continued talking about them for weeks afterward, which says everything. This bakery is a true community staple, and we wouldn’t think twice about booking with them again. We wholeheartedly support this business and recommend them without hesitation!

We mostly interacted with Debra from Incredible Edibles Bakery, and what struck us most about Debra was her ability to capture, transform and bring to life the ideas we had for the vision of our wedding cake without missing a beat. Her attention to detail and artistic eye brought out the smallest, most tender moments that may have otherwise been overlooked, which led to receiving so many compliments on our wedding cake! Debra and her team are not only masters in creation, but they are also true professionals. They arrived on time, maintained a friendly and approachable demeanor, and made every small detail look perfect. Debra’s level of communication is impeccable as she was always willing to answer an email or call whenever we had a question, so we knew we were in good hands the day of the wedding. They were also true champions to set up and maintain our cake throughout our outdoor wedding, on July 12th, in Virginia! During our tasting, the Incredible Edibles Bakery team provided many different ideas and suggestions to make sure we could bring our vision to life in the best and most efficient way possible while staying within budget. They asked an abundance of great questions throughout the process to get a feel for what were our absolute “must haves” and even suggested some things we hadn’t thought of. In addition to our wedding cake, we also used a gelato cart from Incredible Edibles Bakery and it was the biggest hit of the night with our guests! The flavors were to die for and the service was outstanding. Working with Debra and her team has been an absolute pleasure from first contact until the end of the wedding day. o sweet, and also little miniature pies. We tried many places, but Incredible Edibles offered BY FAR the tastiest cake and most delicious little sample pies. They also had a very clean and pretty tasting room. Most of the mini pies/tarts we tried at other places were way too sweet but the ones from Incredible Edibles were just right. Also, this was the only bakery willing to work with us to make only rhubarb tarts (not strawberry rhubarb) so that was much appreciated. On top of that, their prices were reasonable for the area (very comparable or even low compared to others). They don't provide the cake stands (except at an extra charge), but this was okay with us because our coordinator did. They also don't do the cake flowers, decor, and set up, but again we knew our coordinator would do this so we were okay with it. However, after the wedding I contacted our coordinator to find out what went down with vendors that we didn't know about. Here is what she said (verbatim): "The bakery dropped the desserts off and did not connect with my team at all. Nobody saw them, and they didn't contact me or anyone else. Once the team realized the desserts were on-site, they checked and realized that the wrong desserts had been left. We were unable to contact Debra (from Incredible Edibles) via the number she had provided to me. Thankfully our team was able to locate another number she had for her from a previous event. The correct desserts were delivered after guests had started their transition to the reception. This led to my team scrambling to get them out as quickly and quietly as possible. Since you were being introduced into the Reception from the Rodriguez doors by the dessert table, we also wanted to make sure there were desserts there so as not to have a table with empty platters in your pictures." Obviously, this is hugely concerning. Because the correct desserts were delivered so late, our photographers didn't get to take a single picture of the dessert table with all of the desserts. We have photos of the cake, and we have us cutting the cake, but hardly any with the little pies, which is disappointing. I've cropped one of our cake-cutting pictures so that the pies can be seen in the review. Overall, I recommend this bakery for the price and the delicious quality of food. But the delivery left a lot to be desired, completely stressed out my coordination team, and we almost didn't get the correct dessert at all. If you use this baker, I recommend making sure you have cell phone numbers of the staff and delivery people (not just the shop numbers), just so that you can contact them if they deliver the wrong items.

Debra took all of the guess-work out for us and within minutes, we knew what we wanted. Not only did she make it a great experience, but this was hands down the best cake we have ever had in our lives. We attempted to save the top layer for our 1-year anniversary, but it was so good that we just took it out of the freezer and ate the whole thing within the next few days. I can't wait to find an excuse to have her make another delicious cake for us! Thank you for all of your hard work! I would highly, highly recommend.
