I had my wedding at Indian Summer and it went beautifully! Kristi was amazing to work with and very helpful throughout the whole process, despite my plans changing quite a bit throughout the process. From our first meeting to the day of the wedding, they were incredibly flexible, willing to accommodate everything that I asked for, and great at communicating throughout the whole process. Not to mention, but the venue was beautiful and a wonderful space to have the big day. Everything went smooth and I felt supported through the whole process!

I’ve been in this industry for 17 years, with Indian Summer since 2018; successfully executing many weddings. This is the first time I’ve received a negative review. I would like to address your concerns.
I regard myself as very honest and transparent businesswoman. In no way would I purposely cause stress or hardship during or after the process of planning or wrapping up your wedding. Regarding the cost of your event, it begins with the contract. Most contracts list the minimums that need to be spent. In general, for most venues, including ours, minimums do not include items such as décor packages, ceremony fees or extra services. It only secures the room rental and base cost for food and beverage. Couples are informed that totals will be more than minimums, based on their final selections. During the preparation for your wedding, we met in person, exchanged phone calls and, most importantly exchanged event details via email which listed specifics regarding pricing differentials prior to the wedding date at least twice for your review. Several details impacted the final cost of your event; an open bar, décor package, outdoor ceremony setup, cake cutting service along with a champagne toast. The dinner buffet was one of our more elegant selections and the pricing was conveyed prior to the event taking place. Even after the wedding was over, I felt we had a great conversation discussing the details of the costs and thought you had understood the concerns you brought to my attention.
My apologies for making you feel as if you could not walk away with a 100% positive experience. Our staff strives to achieve an atmosphere of professionalism and elegance; allowing you a stress-free place to get married and celebrate with your friends and family. It is with my sincerest hope that you will remember your wedding here as a day of celebration. A union of two beautiful people at a venue who truly cared about making it a perfect day for both of you.

even have a collection of decor that you can utilize. I was able to save a lot of money on flowers and decor because of what was available at Indian Summer.
The catering coordinator Kristi is great at helping you pick out the linens and other features to match your vision. She also keeps in contact throughout the entire process.
The wedding day itself was gorgeous! The staff kept the event running smoothly and were very flexible with us
I received many compliments on the food, the ambiance, and the staff. Another thing Ioved was the size of the bridal suite. They gave us the entire members locker room and sitting room (which is very nice) so we were able to spread out.
Thank you to Indian Summer for making our wedding day beautiful and stress free!

we requested, the room was set beautifully before we even arrived to get ready. They worked with our florist to make sure everything was classy and memorable. She answered all my emails in less than 24 hours! Everyone joked that we would have to delay our retirement a few years because of how posh everything looked (and tasted!) but really, this was quite reasonable as weddings go and they did so much, I didn't have to have a wedding planner in spite of the bride's and my own busy schedule. Worth every penny and more!

ying to help fix mistakes caused by the venue on my wedding day. She was rude to me when I would try to ask questions and isn't willing to work with you. I was at the point where I was wishing I chose another venue because I dreaded having to e-mail or call with a question. I would not recommend this venue.

able to make sure everything except the bread was gluten free. They did the catering in their own kitchen. Everything was delicious. She even allowed us to be the first to set up our ceremony on the grass and it was wonderful. We had an evening ceremony with tress in the background, set up on the grass, everything was beautiful. We also had our reception here in their Oak room. with 72 people it was just right, but they also have a larger room for larger events or weddings. Every time we spoke with Susan there was no problems. They didn't rush us to make decisions. The servers at the reception were polite and did a great job as well. We got the cash bar but this is the only thing I do not recommend (the prices were way to high). They also allowed us to bring and use our own speaker system for our music. They provide tables, linens, alter, chairs, dishes, catering, and other things if you asked for them. Overall this was a great place for all that we got, the service we got, and for the price.

and service was very good. They didn't serve up the cake though, just cut and plated it and guests had to come get slices. That was a little weird. But other than that I had no complaints from guests about anything!

hat everything worked exactly as we wanted it to. The price is not cheap, but it is all inclusive, which was the best way to go. We only had to deal with one business to have the room, food, tables and chairs, and clean up. During the reception, the staff checked in with us and our parents regularly to make sure that everything was working as we expected it to. The food was delicious, and the room was beautiful. There is no other location in Olympia that is able to provide such quality and seat the number of guests we had comfortably.

sionalism of the staff, and how they coordinated everything that made me feel everything was going, and went perfect.
We have gotten great reviews back from our guests saying the setting, personnel and service was excellent. The food prepared by Indian Summer was beyond excellent, it was rated fabulous by all our guests as well all the wedding party.
Indian Summer was very instrumental in making it the most beautiful night of our life!

he food was very good, in fact better than we really expected. On top of that, the wedding staff made sure everything was taken care of; it was practically a turn-key wedding and took a lot of pressure off of us and our busy lives. Although the venue may be on the higher end for Olympia, the price was all inclusive and worth every penny.
