I actually found Alissa on The Knot when searching for local florists, and immediately fell in love with her work. I knew her style would be perfect for our winery wedding near Traverse City. Alissa had so many great ideas of how to incorporate florals throughout the venue and really listened to what we had envisioned for our day. We could not have been happier with our florals on the wedding day - they were stunning! Alissa and her team went above and beyond and totally exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend IndieGrow if you are planning a Northern Michigan wedding - you will not be disappointed :)

Indie Grow Floral is incredible. I am from Pittsburgh and got married in Traverse City MI which made researching vendors challenging at times. I loved that Alissa used locally grown florals and greenery and tried to outsource as little as possible along with her willingness to chat at any point in the planning process. Truth be told, I was blown away by the arrangements that Alissa did for my wedding. She is a vendor who truly LISTENS when you're explaining your wants and needs. If it's important to you that your flowers are locally grown and a little wild, Alissa is your girl. I would recommend her to anyone getting married in Michigan.

Indie Grow Floral does stunning arrangements and bouquets! I chose them because I really liked the whimsical, colorful, and muted floral arrangements and Alissa nailed it! She was SO flexible and willing to accommodate my indecisiveness more than once! I’d definitely recommend using Indie Grow Floral for your wedding and every other event you have!!!

Alissa designed our florals for our Traverse City wedding this past May - so this review is long overdue! Alissa was absolutely fantastic to work with, and we could not have been happier with what she put together for our day. Although I was not sure what I wanted, Alissa managed to create beautiful local bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages as well as florals for the church and reception tables that perfectly fit with our sunny spring day. She was accommodating with last minute changes, and help with set up. I highly recommend her for your wedding as she is professional, friendly, and extremely talented. And I am excited to purchase something from her in the coming weeks for our thanksgiving family table! <3

Alissa designed our wedding florals and I couldn't have been happier with the end result! She is talented beyond measure and has a true passion for her work. She was so accommodating with my little tweaks and changes, especially with having to postpone our wedding due to covid. I was so in love with our blooms that I took some and pressed them flat so I can put them in a frame. I had such a hard time throwing away my bouquet after it finally died because it was just so dang beautiful. Alissa helped to make our wedding day so perfect! I can't thank her enough!

Working with Alissa/IndieGrow for my husband an my wedding this past May was fantastic. She just "got" our vision and was a breeze to work with. With covid related last minute changes, she was able to change up her plans to design for a much different space than anticipated and very gracious about doing so. She is wonderful florist and wonderful person! The flowers were one of my favorite parts of the day.

Allisa/IndieGrower Flower Farm did an amazing job for our daughter's wedding. Last minute we had to change our venue and Alissa took care of everything without issue. The number of tables/centerpieces changed, basically everything changed, and it worked out beautiful. The centerpieces were beautiful, unique, organic and everybody loved them. My daughter was married on our property in August. I hired Alissa because her business model included gardening as well as flower design. I wanted the property to be gorgeous, and thanks to her help, it was. From Instagram, I knew Alissa’s flower arrangements were original and elegant. What I did not understand at the time was that the same creativity, problem-solving (and can I say love?) goes into her work in the gardens. Alissa started with me in the spring, helping to buy both annuals and perennials, planning areas to build out, fixing areas that needed TLC and coaching me along the way. As we got closer to the wedding, I looked forward to her visits, not just because we shared excitement over the maturing gardens, but because she was so delightful to work with. Of note, the wedding plans changed dramatically throughout the spring and summer due to concerns around the global pandemic and Alissa demonstrated great flexibility in the process as well as being sensitive to safety considerations. Ultimately the flowers on the wedding day completely exceeded my expectations. The bridal bouquet was literally perfect for my daughter, the bridesmaids bouquets, the tables ...and tent were gorgeous, and there were a million little touches she put together to add to the atmosphere that made the night just magical. Our guests were blown away and more importantly, the bride and groom had a beautiful and amazing wedding day. I strongly recommend Alissa!

Alissa is the best! She was extremely flexible, and so understanding with the planning process. Her flowers were the highlight of the day! They were beyond gorgeous! She was excellent at listening to understand our vision and she seamlessly made it happen. It was just what we hoped for. She is also so friendly and kind! Alissa is definitely someone that you want walking up to your house on your wedding day to hand you your bridal bouquet! I can’t recommend her enough.

Alissa was an absolute JOY to work with, and she grew and arranged the most beautiful flowers for our intimate wedding in Northern Michigan this fall! Despite all of the obstacles and changing of plans (including moving the wedding date just 3 days before the event!!) Alissa was always so supportive, gracious, and flexible. When she delivered the flowers the morning of the wedding, I was blown away by how perfectly she had created our vision, and the wildflower inspired bouquets were absolutely stunning. She has such a great eye for color and texture, and I loved every arrangement that she created. She truly helped make our day so special and we are so thankful that we found her!

Alissa was truly incredible and such an integral part in making our wedding so amazing. From the very start, we just vibed with her! She truly got our vision and I couldn’t be happier. She gave us the perfect boho decor and flowers-the quality was TOP NOTCH, and was so easy to communicate with during the whole process!

I am so fortunate that Alissa agreed to make my elopement bouquet and my (now) husband's boutonniere. We eloped in TC in the winter, and Alissa took on my request with only a month's notice. She asked for my vision, and the only ideas I could provide were the colors green and white, and flowers and plants that looked like I had picked them from a wild field. She created a bouquet and boutonniere that reflected everything that I wanted and more. She was so kind to deliver the flowers on a winter evening without my prompting. When she did deliver them, she cared so much about the elopement, my dress, and the plans I had for the big day. It made me feel so special. She is trustworthy, sweet-souled, and a beyond gifted florist. You will not regret choosing IndieGrow.

Alissa created pieces that were better than I could’ve imagined. We received so many compliments on our florals. As a bride this was one of the hardest decisions for me, as I felt it was a large line item and you didn’t really know 100% what you would get. After I saw my bouquet and our arbor I knew I should have never doubted my decision. Alissa exceeded my expectations and created great multipurpose items that fit within our budget. I was actually able to meet Alissa prior to my big day due to my distance, but her communication up until the day of was great.

We were extremely happy with Alissa and her Team! Her flowers and creativity made for a beautiful day and took so much stress off of us. She was easy to work/communicate with and was always available for questions! Simply put she was the BEST!

Alyssa was such a pleasure to work with! We had a destination wedding and did just about all of our planning online. Alyssa made the whole process very easy and totally captured my vision. The flowers were so fresh and perfect, not a blemish anywhere and my wedding bouquet lasted until we got home from the honeymoon!!! It was so fun to see it in the vase when I got home:)

If we could give IndieGrow ten stars we would. My husband and I selected IndieGrow to do the floral arrangements for our wedding and we cannot say enough about Alissa (owner of IndieGrow). She took a very small vision that we had and made it more beautiful than we could have imagined. We showed her a few examples of what we liked and she hit it out of the park. We heard from so many people at the wedding how beautiful the floral arrangements were (all thanks to her:). Not only were they gorgeous but she made it so easy on us, delivering flowers, setting them up and re-setting them up, and always being prompt with responses. I would work with IndieGrow again anytime and recommend Alissa to everyone.

I can not express enough how wonderful IndieGrow did in putting together the flowers for our wedding. They exceeded my expectations in every single way. If I could give more than five stars, I would - When I first contacted Alissa, I was interested in having the tree we were getting married under decorated. What she came up with was so unique, creative & beautiful - it is still one of my most favorite details from the entire day! Honestly, I can't thank them enough for what they did to make our day so special!

First of all, I have not stopped receiving compliments on how beautiful the floral details were on our wedding day! I happened upon Alissa as I was stressing out trying to plan a wedding in less than 5 months from over 250 miles away. Luckily our venue (Aurora Cellars) had superb recommendations, and I had immediate relief when I found out Alissa had availability for our date and spoke with her for the first time. There arent enough good words to describe her amazing personality and tremendous talent. She is a true artist with a complete vision and so incredible to work with. I had specific details I wanted to include and sent her Pinterest inspiration - she took them and definitely exceeded my expectations beyond what I could have ever imagined !! Her communication was always efficient, helpful, and very detailed. I believe she grows a lot of her own flowers right on her flower farm, so she is extremely passionate and invested in creating the perfect works of art for your big day! I only wish I lived closer to her so I could have the chance to work with her again/more often! THANK YOU ALISSA!!

I cannot even begin to say how truly happy I am that I decided to use IndieGrow Flower Farm for my wedding. From the very beginning of our communication to my wedding day, my experience was BEYOND amazing. I contacted Alissa based off some of the pictures I had seen on social media and The Knot. Everything about IndieGrow Flower Farm rocked my wedding world! I was a destination bride planning a wedding 700 miles away and Alissa was a dream to work with. She read my lengthy emails, looked at my pictures, color schemes and took my theme to heart and nailed every single thing. The colors, design and dream that I had envisioned for our wedding day would not have been possible without Alissa. Alissa was so kind and such a joy. Alissa was absolutely wonderful to work with from day 1 - she was incredibly kind, transparent, and able to work with our budget to create the look that we wanted for our big day. We gave her some ideas through a Pinterest board and left the rest to her, and the bouquets/arch arrangement/table decorations were STUNNING - Alissa and her team are incredibly talented. I got so many compliments from our guests about the flowers! We are also able to reuse some of the arrangements from the rehearsal dinner for wedding cocktail tables, and the ceremony arch piece for our head table which was super cool! It was awesome too that her team set everything up for us - one less thing to worry about on the big day :) We couldn't have been happier with our florist selection, and HIGHLY recommend IndieGrow to anyone looking for a florist in Northern Michigan. Alissa was an absolute gem to work with! As someone who has worked in the wedding industry for years and having a very specific vision, choosing a flexible and talented florist was top priority in the planning process.
