She included personal touches that my family requested on their own - wrapping my grandmother's handkerchief around my bouquet and putting hidden mickey's on my bouquet and my husband's boutonnière. She was also able to make the florals minimally allergenic for my sneezy groom. She played a huge role in my planning with decor and was quick to answer emails and texts. My family and I appreciate her so much and how she put as at ease through the process. Most of all, she's FUN to be around and is a beam of light and joy. nication hiccups however. The day of, Shonta was several hours late after multiple calls from our planners. When she arrived, the bouquets and greenery were not quite what we had discussed. I asked for mostly white florals with tons of eucalyptus as the greenery. Shonta made the flowers work, but it was not what we had asked for. I later found out via their Instagram that it appeared my shipment was lost / delayed and the flowers used were all last minute replacements . I understand that things happen and give Shonta lots of credit for making it come together but wish she would have been upfront about the issues the day of.

I didn’t hear much from her so I clarified what time she’d be at our sight to begin preparing and was told between 9-10. Shonta never arrived. I was panicking as my hair and makeup person was trying to get my ready. My dad was able to reach her however she never answered my text. Apparently she was, “running late”. I’m sorry but when you are doing someone’s wedding which is time sensitive this is not acceptable. I will now have no pictures from in front of my ceremony site because it was never decorated in time. Shonta finally arrived between 12:30-1 and our wedding was to begin at 3:30. She began decorating inside first even though our wedding was outside. Even my photographer was starting to panic and was gracious enough to to find the wedding coordinator to go get her to decorate the actual wedding site. I will say the decorations were absolutely STUNNING when they were finished and everyone complimented how beautiful they were inside and outside. However, Shonta left as soon as she was done decorating and never fulfilled her obligation of taking the outside decorations inside to decorate the fountain. Luckily, only those of us that were at the planning meeting would’ve known that was missing. Overall, beautiful decorations but huge amount of stress on what should be a special day.

I was very indecisive regarding my flower style and Shonta sent over a video clip after our first meeting highlighting potential options, which was so helpful. Shonta was always available for conferences calls with my wedding coordinator and site coordinator and even came to our venue for an in-person visit. Our venue was very industrial and Shonta's design flowed so well in the ceremony and reception spaces. She was able to hang glass orbs and vines from the ceiling in our ceremony space, which looked amazing! I would highly recommend Shonta and her team to anyone looking for a wedding florist- in fact two of my friends have already booked her for their upcoming weddings!

5 months before the wedding we changed our minds and wanted to add a lot more white roses/florals. Shonta easily accommodated our requests. She was very responsive via email and was quick to answer any of my questions. Our guests all commented on how beautiful the outdoor ceremony floral were. Our florals added so much magic to the day! and I desperately sent messages to every florist I could find, and Shonta was the first to respond. She immediately asked me my vision, and within the hour, sent me an entire spreadsheet of blooms! Shonta was so attentive and so supportive through the entire process. On the wedding day, my husband said Shonta and her team were so positive and sweet. In the middle of the chaos that was our wedding day, they were totally on top of it. He said they brightened his stressful experience, and he can't thank them enough! We both can't! Shonta totally got our vision, and our guests were raving about the florals. It elevated our wedding to a whole new level! Honestly, we can't say enough positive things about Indigo Blooms.
