Grace was so easy to communicate with; coordinating, planning and listening to what my needs and wants were couldn’t have been more seamless and easy. Grace and her team were amazing!! She came highly recommended from our wedding coordinator and it was instantly clear why. They are exceptional at what they do! We planned our event on the Big Island from Los Angeles, and did not fly out for a MUH trial, which made me slightly nervous, but I cannot stress enough how happy I was with my hair and makeup on the day of the wedding. Grace reached out in advance to collect photos of inspiration, so she came into it already knowing what i was hoping for, and truly knocked it out of the park. I looked better than I could have ever imagined!! As did all of my bridesmaids, my mom, and mother-in-law! I came with a large possy and Grace brought 3 of her colleagues with her. Everyone was very talented! My mom is obsessed with Richann... she went into the day very nervous because she was afraid of how the makeup would look on her mature skin... Richann put her at ease and even gave her recommendations for some products that she now uses. The team also gave us each a little kit when we left that had wipes and things for the day. Mine included a lip kit for touchups! Honestly if you go with Grace and her team you are going to have nothing to worry about! Highly recommend!!!

I met Grace for the first time for a hair and makeup trial on the Big Island and was immediately impressed with her professionalism, kindness, and incredible talent! I had the pleasure of working with Indigo Grace for my August 2023 wedding and I was very happy with the experience I had. From the initial consultation to the day of, Grace and Alaia demonstrated skill, professionalism, and a genuine passion for their craft. Apart from the professionalism and her quality hair/makeup team, I think what really set Grace apart for me was how flexible and accommodating she was. Unfortunately I had a LOT of hiccups the week before my wedding. We had to change my getting ready location, as well as have her team help members of my wedding party get ready at two different places at once (this was not initially planned). Through it all Grace was incredibly flexible, kind and accommodating. She even had two of her make-up artists go to a separate getting ready location so that my Mother could get her hair and makeup done (she is in a wheelchair and our getting ready location was unfortunately not wheel chair friendly). I can't express how meaningful this was to me and my family. In addition, Alaia was my hair and makeup artist and was really great to work with. My bridal part had a very good experience and they were very pleased with their overall look. She was patient and listened to what look we all wanted to achieve. I cannot recommend Indigo Grace enough and I am incredibly grateful to have had them be a part of my special day.

Grace & her team of highly expert professional amazing women made my wedding dreams come true!!!!!! Everything was 10/10 top to bottom. Me, my mom and mother-in-law, and all my girls' hair and makeup was OUTSTANDING. I've never felt more beautiful. They were also so nice and friendly and made my trial run and wedding morning absolutely seamless and stress free. I had rain during my ceremony and not a hair or eyelash was out of place, everything held up for hours and hours, and I'm especially prone to humidity and tears. What a wonderful experience – and I felt like a queen once they were done with hair and makeup! Amazing! I chose to do a package which included a trial run of hair and makeup – which I highly recommend as it made me and the stylist more comfortable on the day of the wedding. It gave us time to not only talk about likes / dislikes and try things out – but also to see how both held up through the day and then make adjustments accordingly. While I didn’t have anyone stand up with me, I did have a group of besties who joined me on my wedding day to have their hair and makeup done – and boy, did they look amazing! Grace and her team were amazing to work with on my wedding day. My bridal party and I did airbrush makeup and I have no regrets. When I looked in the mirror it was exactly what I wanted and more and how a bride should feel about herself on her wedding day. Grace and her team were efficient but detailed oriented. Grace even provided me with a color coordinated schedule for makeup and hair which was so nice to have and made the morning-of less hectic. It was very humid on my wedding day and everyones makeup stayed put. I even jumped in the pool at the end of the night TWO times and my makeup and lashes didn't budge. Grace is not only a delight to work with, she is the only person who has ever styled my hair in an updo that I not only liked...I loved! We worked together for my destination wedding on the Big Island - prior to arriving for the big day, we didn't get the chance to do a trial run and I wasn't even nervous because Grace asked for access to my Pinterest board for inspiration and for specific hair and makeup pics for myself and my mom and sister and flower girl. She nailed it. She nailed it all. I felt so beautiful but also like myself. Nobody looked "makeupy" and our hair looked flawless. I loved her calm demeanor, witty one liners and her entire vibe. Gracia and her team are amazing! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! About two months before my wedding, my original hair and make-up artist voided our contract and I was connected with Gracia. Gracia immediately reached out, answered all of the numerous questions that I had, was patient with me, and was extremely responsive (something that was really challenging with some of our other wedding vendors).  On the day of the wedding, Gracia and Alaia arrived on time and got right to work. They did an AMAZING job on my all of bridesmaid's hair and make up, flower girl's hair, both mom's hair and makeup, as well as my own hair and makeup. I don't wear a lot of makeup normally, so I was a little nervous about having my makeup done for the wedding, but Gracia did it perfectly! It was more of a natural look, like I requested, but she really did a wonderful job at highlighting my hazel eye color. I was also a little nervous about curling my hair because I've always struggled with having the curls keep for extended periods of time, however Alaia did amazing work! My hair and makeup lasted all day and night and I loved it! I have never felt so beautiful, and I just love how everything turned out in our photos as well.  I highly recommend Gracia and her team for anyone looking for an exceptional hair and makeup artist for their wedding, you will not be disappointed! I booked Grace in November 2020 for my July 2021 wedding on the big island. With all of the uncertainty with the evolving pandemic, Grace was repsonsive and communicative during the whole process. I did a trial with her the day before and I highly recommend this. It was just us one on one, and was so fun to spend time with her and work together to perfect my wedding look. I had 10 bridesmaids and 3 mothers get ready, and Grace and her team were ahead of the schedule! She is absolutely wonderful and made me feel so gorgeous and confident on my wedding day. Holy Amazing Grace! It was such a wonderful experience working with Grace! I found Grace's services online and easily booked her to do my hair and makeup on my wedding day. Grace came to my Inn on my wedding day and arrived on time (actually she was even early :). She was extremely professional, kind, and she is really great at what she does. I would absolutely use her services again and I highly recommend you use Grace's services. I got married on the beach and it was extremely windy - but my hair stayed perfect the whole time thanks to Grace. Grace uses high quality makeup, makeup brushes and everything was sanitized appropriately. My makeup looked so good that I didn't even want to wash it off at the end of the night lol. Grace did an amazing job! She was so willing to come and do my hair and makeup at 3am in an Airbnb in a hard-to-find spot. Somehow she got there on time even though it was dark and in a weird spot. We had an adventure wedding and the makeup lasted the entire day through sweat, water, and wind. She told me I could jump in the water and it wouldn’t come off. I didn’t believe her, but she was right! The hair and makeup looks spectacular in the photos. 11/10 would recommend!

Grace did an amazing job on hair and make up for our bridal party (which included myself, 3 bridesmaids and my mom). It rained like crazy on our wedding day. But, despite the downpour - followed by humidity, heat, and lots of happy tears - our make up didn't budge! What a relief. She was also very professional, flexible and creative - and was a great with communication leading up to the big day.

Grace did my hair and makeup for my wedding and I LOVED IT! And I love her!!! She is amazing and such a bundle of joy. Her job is to make you light up the room when you walk in, but she already does that herself! She was so sweet and fun to work with. After dancing, laughing, and crying all night, I expected to look like a mess whenever I got back in front of a mirror. But her look really stayed in perfect shape all night!! Grace and Brooke are very talented and such sweet people. I booked Grace for my August 2019 wedding in Kona. Her and Brooke were able to do hair and makeup for myself and my 7 bridesmaids. All of my friends looked beautiful, and Grace helped make me feel so confident on my wedding day. She was able to airbrush my tan lines away for my strapless dress and apply hair extensions, and my airbrush makeup never needed reapplying the entire night despite my venue being outdoors and it being very hot that day. I highly recommend Grace Makeup Artistry if you are planning on doing a destination wedding on the Big Island like I did! :)

Grace was amazing. She did my hair and makeup beautifully and really went with the flow. She did exactly what I was wanting but better! And the airbrush makeup hid my acne prone skin so well. She also made my flat lifeless hair have body and curl which is almost impossible haha. I’ve honestly struggled to write Grace a review because I know my words wont do her justice. Grace is a phenomenal talent and booking her for my wedding was one of the easiest, and best, decisions I made. No matter where you stand when it comes to makeup or hair, Grace will meet you there. Grace’s work left me feeling stunning, but like ME. She knew I wanted to play around with the opportunity to shine, but she knew that it was important for me to not feel like I was losing my everyday sense of style underneath MUAH. I love so much about Grace - a few standouts : she truly listens to her brides in order to elevate, not mask, their natural self and the fact that she will go above and beyond to ensure that her bride feels comfortable the day of her wedding. Like a lifelong friend would do, Grace pieced together an insane puzzle of appointments and requests into a seamless MUAH schedule that set a positive, calm, and comforting energy. Trust me, you want (aka: NEED) Grace’s MUAH talent on your wedding day, but you also want her empathetic and soothing self there, too. I can not recommend her enough! In fact, I am searching for any reason to work with Grace again.

I cannot tell enough of how amazing Grace is! She is not only an amazing Make up artist and hair stylist, but also has the best personality! She is SWEET!! The highlight of my experience on my wedding day with her, was my flower crown! So my florist messed it up, and I was like, well I'm not gonna have any flower crown as I planned! Then Grace asked me what style do I like, and SHE MADE IT for me! It was amazing!!! My make up stayed all night, and my hair was curly and pretty the whole time! Also all my wedding party ( about 7 people ) used grace and they were ALL SO HAPPY with their hair and make up! As I said at the beginning I cannot tell enough of how amazing she is! Thank you Grace! Grace is magical! Having her in my wedding is probably the best thing I had done (besides marrying my wonderful husband). I was very stressed up to the last minutes of my wedding since we planned everything from a distance. Trying to coordinate a wedding plus hanging out activities and making 36 people happy is not an easy task. But the moment Grace arrived to our hotel, I felt immediately at ease because I knew I'd have someone who would take care of me! And for the next two hours, I was so relaxed and at peace as Grace did my hair and makeup (I was even able to do the final edits to my vows during this period). As a final note, Grace only used HIGH QUALITY make-up stuff (I'm talking Urban Decay and Naked). My makeup was so beautiful and lasted over 5-6 hours of both the ceremony and reception. Today is our 1 year anniversary and it has me thinking very fondly about our wonderful destination wedding on the Big Island of Hawaii and the amazing hair and makeup services myself and 3 girlfriends received from Grace and her assistant. They were not only very punctual but from start to finish nothing but professional. It was a very fun relaxing atmosphere and they both made us 4 girls feel special and very beautiful by the time they were done.
