The team at Indigo is the absolute best! They did hair and makeup for our bridal party. They made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. They made us feel and look absolutely amazing. Everyone that attending our wedding was in awe and so we’re we! We adore you ladies and thank you again for making us look and feel so fabulous for my special day. I originally decided on Indigo Salon and Wellness to do the bridal party's hair and makeup because they were a local business and they didn't charge extra just because it was a wedding and I was a bride. Most other places I looked charged more for wedding hair/makeup than they would for other events, as well as charging the bride double what they charged other members of the party. Indigo, however, charged based on the service with different prices for downstyle vs. partial pinned vs. updo for hair and traditional vs. airbrush for makeup. When I did my trial with them, I fell in love with the salon itself. It's in a beautiful old house, perfect for detail and preparation photos. Note that their current address is 302 W. High Street in Lexington, not the Short Street address that is listed on this site. They also do off-site hair/makeup for an extra charge, but we did our preparation on-site. On the day-of, the staff was friendly, organized, and accommodating, planning out an itinerary for the day, allowing us to bring in champagne and lunch (they can also cater if you don't want to bring in food from outside), and allowing our photographer to stop by. On top of all that, everybody in the party looked beautiful and their hair and makeup lasted all day. Overall, I had a great experience with Indigo and would highly recommend it.
