k them! While the majority of the coordination and communication came through our planner, they had a great price point for our small wedding. There was one challenging instance that they had little control over, but where their landlord required the use of their parking lot unexpectedly, due to that they had to cancel their services one of our events. While that was disappointing and caused some scrambling, ultimately they had great service, their food was delicious, and our guests enjoyed it enough to tell us! Good food was one of our priorities and Indy Fresh was able to deliver it! We even were able to have leftovers for a smaller family meal before the weekend was over where everyone commented again how great everything was.

we decided to do the buffet style pizza truck. We chose four different kinds of pizza that was all you can eat and they left us with sixteen boxes of extra pizza that our guests loved! We did have trouble getting quick responses from the coordinator prior to becoming a client, but I believe it was because she was busy with the current clients. Once we became a client there was a steady line of communication to our questions. Average response time was about a week. Before our wedding, we worked with Mark in the final coordinator. He was easy to work with and answered all the questions we had. The day of we had rain and had to switch our cocktail hour location and Mark worked with the venue coordinator to move things around and I didn’t hear of any issues, just showed up and everything was set up and perfect! The guests were all over the pizza and afterwards we were getting an insane amount of compliments on our food choice. If I had to choose again, I would choose IndyFresh.

didn’t use a wedding planner. At our wedding, they fed our 160 guests in a very timely manner, we had the pizza food truck and it was excellent. People are still talking about it. Food doesn’t have to be multi-course or surf and turf for people to love it, if you want to blow your guests away, the pizza food truck is the way go go.

And the food was delicious too. Would bring on again!

The table setting for the Buffet was beautiful and the staff was organized and very professional. At our wedding it was so comforting knowing that our guests truly loved Indy Fresh's food (our wedding included the smoke pork loin, roasted red pepper chicken, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and green beans). Numerous times we heard "best food I've ever had at a wedding" and "wow, way better than the food at my wedding!" They are sometimes hard to get ahold of via phone, but email communication was great.

We also love the wood fired pizza truck for our late night food and highly recommend that for a late night snack or any big party! As a tip, order more meat than 1 per person as some guests were a little over zealous when serving themselves. Highly recommend Indy Fresh for any of your catering needs!

an employee and basically that ruined their entire workflow. We were told in a manner of speaking that we did not matter until they had proper staffing and our event was closer to date of execution. They do not handle adversity or issues well. It was clear that my wedding did not matter to them in the moment, nor did my business, so we were forced to back out. The owner made this abundantly clear. When things get tough, this organization crumbles, and doesn’t own the blame, but deflects it, almost as if blaming how ‘busy’ they are as the excuse, encouraging you to step away. The story: We initially planned on using Indy Fresh to handle our catering for our wedding. After we signed up, looked over the contract and needed some things changed, we never heard back from the Events/Sales Manager, Brooke Harty. We found later that Brooke left, and her accounts were taken over by someone else. That said, no one was responding back from her accounts. I suggested putting an out of office on her account or something to let people know hey, you need to go through another route to reach out to us. Overall, just a high level of mismanagement. Some basic IT technologies could have helped them here. Brooke took no responsibility, stated she was too busy to reach out to everyone and left it at that. I asked to talk to someone, and their owner said he would be happy to reach out to me. OK, great, we are getting somewhere. I had a 2–3-minute conversation with Toby, which was not a conversation as it was a “woe is me” statement from Toby. Toby gave me no chance to talk and explain our frustrations. He took over the conversation, told me did not mean to be rude, but then continued, being rude, as if he proclaiming I do not mean to be rude, gives him the go ahead to be rude. He explained that he lost people, and he could not do anything about our situation until it was 3 months in advance (we are less than 5 months from our wedding), or until they had more staffing. I was stunned. All I could say on the phone was “Okay, thank you”. I did not know what to say. On one hand, I did appreciate Toby being direct. On the other, He did not even listen to us and just complained about his situation. He did not give me a chance to talk about our situation beyond the point of ‘Brooke treated us poorly’ and as I was going in to explain what we needed, he cut me off with his ‘I don’t mean to be rude’. It just was very clear he did not care. We did not feel valued. All we wanted is a little bit of time to correct the contract that way we could get this in the books and move on. The owner made it clear they had no time for that, they were too busy; not a great way to make a customer feel valued.

were BLOWN AWAY by the taste, quality, and presentation of the foods. They have sooo many options for everyone, and it is so affordable. The team was very friendly, responsive, and personable. I've gotten so many compliments on our food! We had a buffet - salad with ranch and vinaigrette (both incredible), italian sausage with onions and peppers, roasted chicken breast in a red pepper cream sauce, seasonal veggies, mashed potatoes, and the BEST bread with garlic butter you'll ever have!!! Our appetizers were bacon wrapped meatballs, caprese skewers, and baked goat cheese with bread. All was absolutely delicious! I would recommend them to everyone.

With being on an already tight wedding budget, we had to ask our vendors if they could help us out with refunding our deposits, since there is plenty of time for them to re-book that date months from now. Though many vendors had contract policies for not refunding deposits, they were all willing to help us out. Indy Fresh Catering was the ONLY vendor to not work with us & refuse refunding. Weddings (like life) are unpredictable events, many things can change from the time of booking to the actual wedding day. Therefore, if you decide to reserve this caterer & for some reason something unforeseen occurs, they will NOT work with you. You will lose your deposit to them, & if you are on a budget you can imagine how difficult that can make things. Choose wisely.
