Really really enjoyed the actual day-off interaction for both the engagement and wedding photos! 4 stars: Quality - Sayidah is talented, which is why she is booked often, but I think the quality suffers due to magnitude of events and what needs to be done outside of the "big day". Photos (4 stars) - We LOVE our engagement photos. They are moody, earthy and candid - they are all over our house and we used several at our wedding reception. Wedding photos not as much. Some truly are amazing, others it felt as if they hadn't shot at the venue before, which they have. There are also some photos that seem overexposed or framed oddly. Video (4 stars) - had to be corrected/adjusted. They were minor. We do enjoy it and really appreciated that the ceremony, speeches, dances were also included in addition to the video being created. Photo album (2 stars) - Cheap is the easiest way to explain it. No creativity or flare at all. Nice leather exterior, but after we provided the 40 photos, it seems as if they were copied over to a website and that was the extent of the work on it. Photos are not really placed in a way that looks good, they're just there. For example, the very first page is a blown up details photo of my husband's ring. Good photo but why is it taking up over a page of a ~10"x10" album and one photo of us has a crease on my husbands face. All details photos were on one page, all exit photos, etc. I was excited to have this on our coffee table, but now may trash it. 1 star - communication Any time there is a contract involved, I want things in writing. So I did 99% of our communication via email. The first interactions were good while we were discussing which package and what contract to do. After that...crickets. Again we were out of state, so we needed to plan well ahead for our engagement photos and when we would fly up. It took 3 months to finally have a weekend picked out, because emails would go unanswered, or we'd get an out-of-office. After following-up when she was supposed to be in office, we wouldn't hear anything for a minimum of 2 weeks. It only got worse after the wedding. Minimum requirement was 120 days after the wedding, this was a lot to me. Regardless, I had to reach out after the timeline because we still didn't have anything. Allegedly the website they upload the photos to didn't give us an email notification. That's fine, but good customer service would dictate an email letting us know to expect an outside site and anything else we should know. Luxe album - after we picked out our photos it took >6 months to get it, making the quality of it even more frustrating. I sent several reminders. Typically monthly asking about the status, several of those emails went unanswered or if they were answered it was always some excuse of the family had been sick. I'm a parent, I do get that... but I certainly hope they weren't sick for 2 months straight. Some of the emails when we'd be responded to would be asking the same question over, or would be asking if we wanted something special for the album but without an preface of what that means or examples of what we could get. I once answered an email within 8 minutes of her asking me a question, and her reply didn't come for > month.
