idal bouquet and even a complimentary boutonnière to be delivered around 7pm on 10/31. I expressed my concern for that late of a delivery on Halloween, but she reassured me otherwise.
10/31 came and at 8pm still no bouquet or boutonnière. I contacted Anjelica who said she was on her way. After 9pm she texted me saying that she had been stuck behind a “Halloween bike ride” for 45 minutes, didn’t want to wait anymore, and asked if she could deliver the flowers in the morning instead. I requested she arrive at 8:30am and tell me when she was in the hotel lobby so that my husband and I could meet her and handle the delivery. At exactly 8am I receive a text from Anjelica that my bouquet had been left at the front desk.
I received a sad, low quality, underwhelming, and lifeless bouquet that looked absolutely nothing like my reference photos. I was devastated. This bouquet was missing all my desired elements. I also did NOT receive a boutonnière. Anjelica clearly forgot and whipped up this sad little bouquet last minute, forgetting the boutonnière altogether. She clearly delivered the bouquet earlier than expected to avoid any contact with me. She knew this would not meet my expectations.
I expressed my extreme disappointment and Anjelica claimed that she created a bouquet exactly like my photos with a matching boutonnière. She claimed the delivery driver must’ve mixed up the orders, however she specifically told me she was going to deliver these to me personally… Anjelica provided no photo proof of this alleged bouquet and boutonnière. She did not offer any adjustments, replacements, or compensation. I requested a refund.
Anjelica is unprofessional and handled this incident with dishonesty and deception. She completely forgot about my bouquet and boutonnière. Anjelica made endless excuses obviously lying to try to cover up her own neglect and poor planning. I’m truly disappointed and disheartened for trusting her with something so important. Anjelica completely let me down on my wedding day.

We had our wedding at Garfield Park Conservatory while the annual Spring Garden Show was in the Show House. Anjelica turned the Horticulture Hall into a space that rivaled the spring show. Our flowers were gorgeous.
I asked her for jewel tones and a tropical feel with ferns and gold accents and she delivered. After our walkthrough I asked her to add a few more statement pieces to fill up the room and she dreamed up beautiful ideas just weeks before the wedding.
I'm not sure whether asking for more is annoying, or just a thing that all brides do, but Anjelica never made me feel like I was inconveniencing her and she seemed to enjoy the challenge (and our trust). Worth mentioning, she also put the flowers on our cake and contributed most of the table top decor.

Anjelica was super responsive and timely, which made everything go smoothly.
I wanted poppies for our reception, despite it being a late summer date, and Anjelica was the only vendor I spoke with who did the research to determine that it was possible without going outside of our budget. She completely understood our vision (colorful! Non-traditional!) and put together a beautiful proposal that was even more beautiful (and even more colorful and poppy-filled!) in execution. Our guests can't stop gushing about how much they loved the centerpieces.

While it was sometimes tricky to get a hold of Anjelica in the months leading up to our wedding, as we approached our date, I felt like we had her undivided attention. She was super accommodating to my feedback and also just generous, throwing in a few extra little things I suspect other vendors may have nickel and dimed us for.

I got nervous when their final proposal (a couple weeks before my wedding) didn't match the vision I had. Anjelica took time to talk to me personally and was very meticulous. She listened to me (and my emails) and translated it into exactly what I wanted. She did an amazing job- she nailed the perfect color combinations. I loved the backdrop modern style and color. I especially loved my bouquet- it was beautiful, unique, not cookie-cutter, it looked bridal and colorful at the same time. I could have imagined. The most vivid, textures, and romantic flowers and we LOVED them! She also handled our center pieces and table numbers. Our guests were commenting on them all night and it’s still the first thing people say to us after the wedding! We’re so very happy we chose InFlorEscence to take care of our flowers and decorations. Not only were the arrangements beautiful but the process was easy and Anjelica took care of everything, alleviating a lot of stress from my plate. Because of that, our planner suggested I talk to several florists before making a decision. I met with six, and Jelie at InFlorEscence stood out immediately.
First, it was obvious that Jelie is a beautiful designer with a great eye. But beyond that, she was one of a couple of florists who seemed truly excited about my vision and who really wanted to work with me on it.
Jelie was collaborative, patient, and kind throughout the process. After our first floral sample, there were a few things that didn't feel quite right – not only was Jelie open to changes, but she generously offered to do a second sample. And she NAILED it. She also worked with us on ways to optimize our budget, and she was flexible in letting us keep a few arrangements for our morning-after brunch.
The flowers and decor at our wedding were spectacular. It wouldn't have been the same without Jelie's creativity and skill.

eat job at capturing the vision we had for them. However, taking two stars off because 1) there was a lot of delay in the response time. I even reached out a few weeks before the event to see if we could add on something additional and never got a response. 2) on the day of the event she was over 3 hours late in delivering the flowers, and we almost had to leave the hotel to start pictures before she arrived. It was incredibly stressful as a bride, not to mention we received no apologies, and come to find out it was because they chose to add a last minute delivery before ours. It was really disappointing. Again, the flowers were wonderful and I received so many compliments on them - but it was less than ideal to have this added stress on our wedding day
