We picked Steve because we loved his photos from other weddings, his professional communication style, affordability, and down to earth demeaner. We had a few calls with photographers, honestly hard to distinguish one from another after a while - however, after our call with Steve, he sent a follow up email regarding details on what we discussed along with links for us to view another similar wedding size/vibe that he shot. His communication throughout was professional, timely, and thorough. He captured our wedding day perfectly. He showed up exactly on time, and was comfortable to jump right in. In each location where we took photos (where bride got ready, groom got ready, hotel, and venue) he would scope out the area and present a few options of which he thought would look best for whatever was next. This was helpful to keep things moving but I still felt like I was part of decision making. He also has such an artistic eye! We have the traditional wedding photos that most have but also he would tell us - "okay go with me on this" and he would tell us where to stand and "have a moment" and he would get reflections or angles that I would never have thought. Stunning stunning photos. Everyone was like - where did you find your photographer?? He is amazing!!! And I honestly don't know how we got so lucky. I cannot recommend him enough. I woke up the morning after the wedding and already had a 'sneak peek' waiting in my inbox. It was so fun to have even a handful of photos already while you're still running the wedding-high. And then he sent us the link to all of our photos within 12 days (12!!!). I can send the link out to family and friends and I get to print any/all of them (no extra fees). If you like his style from his example photos - he is your man. Professional, affordable, high quality, low stress. I don't know how to recommend him highly enough.

Steve at ING was so easy to work with. Both him and his wife Val were very attentive to our needs. From our engagement shoot early on, we told him that we are not very serious people and we like to goof around a lot. We gave him a very small list of shots and groups of people that we wanted to get photos of, but other than that, we let them work their magic. They turned out hundreds of high quality creative shots, in a very short period of time. There were some shots he was doing that we didn't understand what it was going to look like in the end, but clearly he has a great eye and a great vision.
