In a studio, you're either in a group with other couples or have a private lesson with a teacher who shares the floor with other students. Studio lessons are great for bonding with other dancers and tasting many dances. Studio lessons are usually about 30min-45min in length. With In-Home lessons, it's always a private Date Night In. I focus on your wedding song immediately, and I can introduce you to other dances only if you request. In-Home lessons are perfect for the stressed-out wedding couple who want to connect and maintain the intimacy a wedding dance should have. Classes with Bieje are always 1hr long, and we focus on both of you!

At the eleventh hour (reads: four weeks out) before our wedding, the band we hired for our wedding insisted that we do a first dance.

In comes Bieje to the rescue. Her knowledge of music and dance was also very apparent from the start. With four weeks to wedding day, she managed to get us to go from “not sucking” to a level of competency that surprised AND impressed everyone at the wedding!
In hindsight, taking dance lessons was the single most enjoyable experience in the wedding planning process. Yes, it was stressful to suddenly find out we had to do a first dance four weeks out, but the experience also gave us a reprieve from planning and something to enjoy together. Having fun and laughing amidst the flurry of planning is not always easy, so this was an opportunity for some well-needed light relief!

ously. The first few lessons involved no choreography, just learning and practicing some very basic dance steps. At first we were a bit unsure about this, but as we started to learn the choreography, it all made so much more sense and made the rest of the lessons so much easier. What we realized is that she does not just teach you a dance, she teaches you how to dance and how to dance with each other. Bieje was just such a delight to work with; she is passionate, understanding, and obviously talented. And her coming to our home at hours that accommodated our schedules was priceless. I absolutely and without any reservation recommend Bieje!

ve via email and phone, and so passionate about teaching couples how to dance together. Plus, the convenience of her coming to our home for lessons was HUGE. My husband and I work odd hours and she was extremely accommodating to our schedules. We started lessons about 3 months before our wedding - she taught us a 5 minute (yes - it was that long) choreographed dance to 3 different songs (in three different dance styles) which we had spliced together for our first dance - and it. was. AWESOME. Dancing was by far the most enjoyable part of wedding planning - and my husband and I have learned skills that we will use forever!! We feel so much more confident dancing together - and it is all thanks to Bieje's support and guidance. We HIGHLY recommend her services!! Bieje Bieje was an amazing instructor. Before her lessons, my future wife and I resorted to just swaying to the music we had chosen. After Bieje Bieje reviewed our selection, she came to the house and worked with us to whip us into shape, just two weeks before our wedding. The ability to have an instructor come to the house made this experience so less intimidating and allowed us to feel comfortable in our own home. Her patients with us was astounding, especially considering I was not that coordinated to begin with. But after just 4 lessons, we looked great! Everyone at our wedding was amazed that we danced so well and with such grace.
I can't recommend her enough! Whether you have a few months to prepare, or just a short amount of time, like we did, Bieje Bieje can make you look polished and professional for your big day!
