Working with Ink and Ivy for my wedding day was an absolute pleasure! Nikki and her assistant were so lovely. From the beginning I was impressed with the communication and professionalism. After my first trial I knew I made the right decision to work with Nikki and her company. I had a big bridal party, and watching both stylists work together and so quickly to get everyone done was amazing! Everyone's hair looked so amazing. I started this business in 2015 and had about 5 weddings per year. This year my company now services 150+ brides per year with a beautiful team of ladies that work with me. It has always been a dream of mine to work for myself and create a business that truly is something I believe in and love. I am thankful everyday I get to work with all my bridal clients.

She answered all my emails incredibly fast and was so helpful, especially when it came to giving me information about hair extensions and what to ask for. At my trial, my hair was perfect. On the day of the wedding, we had so much fun getting ready with all my girls. My cousin has Down syndrome and can be a little sensitive about having her hair styled, but Nikki was amazing. und it really helpful to check out her Instagram before the appointment and found a picture of someone with similar hair to mine exactly how I wanted my hair styled, which she appreciated. She was so supportive of what I wanted and gave very helpful advice on hair care and hair styling, extensions vs no extensions (we both decided I didn’t need them), and trying on my hair piece and veil. It was such a great experience and I can’t wait to work with her again for my wedding! Edit post-wedding: Nikki was such a joy to work with! She’s so kind and supportive, from the trial to the wedding day and the communication in between. She posts lots of styles on her Instagram, and it was really helpful to pick one and show it to her for the trial. We went with less volume on top than we did for the trial, and it was absolutely perfect. My hair was done around 8:30 AM and the waves held until I washed my hair at 11 PM. My maid of honor and bridesmaid also really enjoyed their experience working with her, and I would highly recommend Nikki to any bride who wants to feel more low-key but still glamorous!

She arrived a few minutes early on our wedding day to allow herself time to set up her workspace and then got right to work. She was such a calming presence, and fit in so perfectly with my group. She made myself, my 6 bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law feel SO BEAUTIFUL! We all have such different hair types and she did the most gorgeous job on every single one of us. Once she completed everyone’s hair, she went back and did touch ups for anyone who felt they needed it. I was nervous about changing up my hair from the trial because I have very soft hair, and curls have never fully held for an entire day on me. I went with my gut and did a totally different style for the big day and thanks to Nikki, I can now say my hair DOES hold curls! r a picture of my dress and she knew exactly what to do and I literally cried absolute tears of happiness when she finished. Talking to her throughout the trial felt like catching up with a friend! She’s absolutely wonderful! I cannot wait for my wedding to see my hair and all my bridesmaids hair look just absolutely stunning!

sired hair style, how we can make it last all day (July humidity was a factor), and attaching my cathedral veil. We walked through everything at the trial and it came through on the day of. Her natural, soft style was everything. She chose an amazing second stylist to help with our large party. Everyone's hair came out beautiful. She was able to service everyone no matter their age, hair length, or personal style. I'm so thankful for her patience, artistic inspiration, and attention to detail. Nikki is a big reason why we had such an amazing wedding day!

ons and we figured out what I really wanted- a party pony! She did such an amazing job on my pony on my wedding day and really nailed my vision. She also did such a wonderful job on my bridesmaids and mom's hair- everyone looked beautiful! She is super down-to-earth and easy to talk to and definitely brings a calming energy to your wedding day (which is just a bonus!) She is very organized and thorough with her paperwork and was always super responsive to my texts leading up to the big day. Very professional and easy to work with!
