Ink & Oak is a wedding stationery boutique based out of Des Moines, IA that specializes in hand-lettered calligraphy. Owner Tome Plaza-Hope’s scripts range in styles from traditional to modern in order to perfectly complement your celebration’s aesthetic. She hopes to set your wedding apart with breathtaking and unique stationery sets. Tome has always had a passion for typography and has been experimenting with handwriting since childhood. She officially began studying calligraphy in 1999 when she took an italics class at the University of Iowa. She is now a member of the Letter Arts Alliance of the Midwest and the Chicago Calligraphy Collective and serves clients throughout the United States. Ink & Oak provides a variety of services for your special day, including outer and inner envelope addressing, place cards, menus, seating charts, and other signage. This professional can also copy out your and your partner’s wedding vows in beautiful handwriting. Tome enjoys creating products that are personal and which nurture a connection between the giver and receiver.
