INK Sweets

SWEETS is extremely busy & booked out far in advance, Leah worked with us to create the PERFECT wedding cake for our big day on such short notice. We first tried the INK SWEETS tasting package to figure out which flavor we wanted. Let me tell you, this was an EXTREMELY hard decision because each flavor was absolutely delicious!! After deciding on our final flavor, Leah was extremely easy to work with. She created a truly beautiful cake that was a piece of art. The cake fit perfectly with the theme of our overall wedding and our guests raved about how beautiful and delicious it was. INK SWEETS exceeded our expectations BY FAR and we would recommend to anybody who wants to have a true piece of art for their wedding day that also tastes fantastic!

rking with Ink Sweets for your special day.

hat completely changed. These cakes are ART. We gave Leah free control with designing our cake, and we were thrilled with the outcome. Not to mention, it tasted AMAZING. We loved our cake and our guests did too. SO happy that we found Leah and Ink Sweets!

cupcakes were a huge hit as well! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about them! I wish I could give her and her team more stars. Amazing service and deserts! They also have macaroons which were my favorite ❤️ Highly recommend Ink Sweets for your special day!

reams and the talent to make those dreams reality. Some people grow up dreaming of their wedding dresses, but I have been dreaming of my wedding cake since I was a little girl. Leah’s work surpassed my wildest dreams. The sugar flowers are just INCREDIBLE and hyperreal. Did I mention it tasted amazing too?

of the reception hall! It tasted amazing too; not overly sweet, moist, rich flavor that I've rarely seen in a wedding cake. They also made us a dessert bar with a wide range of sweets that our guests loved (they literally ate it all)! I can't recommend Ink Sweets highly enough...best wedding vendor decision we've made!

pleasure to work with. I was completely speachless when I saw my beautiful moss green cake along with 2 types of beautifully made cookies. The cake was such a showstopper. Thank you Leah for helping make our dream come true.

t represented her unique personality perfectly. We tasted several flavors of cake and each one was more delicious than the last. She helped us narrow our selection to Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Buttercream and Lemon Buttermilk with Raspberry Buttercream. She is truly creative, taking our colors and a few general ideas and creating a work of art. Leah was incredibly easy to work with and responsive to our questions. She stuck with us through two changes of date due to the pandemic. We were so excited to finally see the cake that we had a special reveal before our reception. We were blown away by the cake she created for us! Many of our guests are still talking about the unique and delicious cake. We highly recommend Leah and Ink Sweets for your wedding cake!

delivered! If you feel "untraditional" in anyway, Leah is your girl. Working with her was such fun and so easy, despite the complications we faced planning/rescheduling a wedding during a pandemic. Her unique and delicious flavor options cannot be beat (earl grey, anyone?!) It's a dream to get both design/style and incredible flavor and texture with a wedding cake. Delicious, unique & gorgeous cakes; reliable, fun, professional vendor; LGBTQ wedding supporter, CHECK CHECK CHECK!

and I trusted her. Without fail, my cake was not only *delicious* but beautiful also. Months later people are STILL talking about how pretty it turned out and I love that we went a less “traditional” route! I highly recommend INK for any of your tasty treat needs.

ginal vision we had. We got rave reviews both for how stunning it was and for how delicious. Multiple people told us it was the best wedding cake they'd ever had! (We got the bourbon chai and lemon pistachio.) She also made the tasting process super easy, which was impressive as it was at the height of the pandemic. I would recommend one of Leah’s cakes for any occasion!

us, moist and flavorful! Our wedding cake was a beautiful addition to our dance floor backdrop. We cannot wait to pull the top portion out of the freezer and be reminded of our big day and our beautiful cake all over again. Thank you INK Sweets for being a part of our big day!

r since our first correspondence she has been an absolute dream. She met with my fiance and me to test flavors (the earl gray cake is not to be missed), and by that evening she had a sketch over to us. Being a person who loves cake but knows nothing about their design, I deferred to her completely and am so happy I did. Even when I downsized my wedding, Leah delivered the most whimsical, elegant, floral, delicious, and fairytale perfect four-tiered cake I could have ever have imagined. Her attention to detail is unparalleled (she even had flowers both in bloom and budding on the cake), and I cannot recommend her any more highly. The only thing better than her cakes is Leah herself!

AND TASTE BETTER THAN THEY LOOK! She truly is a gifted artist! Her sugar flowers are absolutely stunning, and her eye for colors are spot on as well! Our wedding guests couldn't believe the cake was real, and that the flowers were made of sugar! Look no further, Leah is your gal for everything amazing with cake!

he delivered! The cake was absolutely gorgeous, so much so that I actually felt bad cutting into the cake - but more importantly it tasted DELICIOUS! She is such a talented lady, is great at communication and was so helpful in making our #pandemicwedding cake the best. Thank you Leah!

tomer service. I’ve had the opportunity to eat her cake many times, and each time I can see everyone else’s eyes light up when they have their first bite—their eyes say “OHHHH MY GODDDD”. Once i tried to keep leftovers for my family but they were just too good and I ate them all. Her creativity is mind blowing and her technique is unparalleled. I would book her for anything, any day. My favorite cake is the pistachio lemon!!!!!

as going to look like until our wedding day, a complete surprise. Leah absolutely KILLED it! Not only was it absolutely gorgeous, but it was the best tasting cake we have ever had. Our friends and family still talk about it and request it for all of our events, big and small! If you are looking for a complete badass human being and an amazing cake artist, you have to use INK Sweets!

into existence. She was fun and professional.

we wanted to work with instantly. Leah was not only communicative and flexible in the months leading up to our wedding- we gave her pretty much open creative license with design and flavors for our dessert “palate” as we opted for a small cutting cake, cookies, bars and tartlets. After chatting with Leah during our cake tasting we were even more convinced we selected the right dessert artist for us as she was up front and honest with her use of ingredients- she uses real foods- no artificial flavors! Even when we asked to split up our dessert delivery so that we had sweet treats for our rehearsal dinner Leah was flexible and provided options to make pick up convenient for us. Leah delivered our cake and the rest of our desserts the day of our wedding – and she even took the time to try and match the font of our invitations to the dessert labels. Working with Ink Sweets was the most fantastic experience, and Leah is the real deal!

the treats. By the end of the night there was not a single bite left. Luckily Leah has been doing this for a while and she specially set aside a dessert box for myself and my husband to enjoy when things settled down. Leah was so easy to work with. She was organized, honest and helpful, especially when it came to flavor pairings and how much to order. I was not the most particular bride. I knew I wanted a colorful cake but as to the details I was open to suggestions. Leah asked for photos of what I had been working on for the wedding, colors I liked and other bits of general inspiration. From that information she found a mold that would match the cookie decorations to the napkin ring details I had made. It was perfect and so thoughtful!! For our wedding cake we chose her strawberry rhubarb flavor. I have already placed an order for the same flavored first anniversary cake! I would definitely work with Leah again and recommend her services to anyone. She made our desserts (which is really the most important food course, right?) memorable and unique to us.

op it off. She also was flexible when I couldn't find the flowers that were meant to decorate the cake on the day of the wedding. Plus, the cake itself was absolutely gorgeous (excuse my terrible photography skills) and I was told over and over that it was one of the best cakes they'd ever had. Could not recommend INK Sweets more! :)

ndecisive bride. She took the time to really understand our relationship and created a BEAUTIFUL cake that captured our “love story.” Leah’s focus on every detail made all of our guests and us say, “Wow!” the moment we saw our cake. Leah’s cakes are like nothing you’ve ever seen before... or tasted! We had 150 cupcakes at the wedding and not one was left over! Another sweet touch from Leah was that she took one of each flavor cupcake and set it aside for my husband and I before the reception started so we didn’t miss out! How sweet! She was so easy to work with and so fun. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Thank you Leah!!!

er design and cake matched every detail of our wedding. She responded promptly every time I contacted her, even while she was getting married this past summer. Leah made a beautiful cake and we also featured her other desserts at our wedding. The design, attention to detail and taste of the cake and other desserts were out of this world. My wedding guests loved the desserts and have given me a ton of compliments on all of them. It's been fun asking what their favorite dessert was and many had multiple favorites. I have already highly recommended Leah to my family and friends and will do so in the future. Her desserts are so good, my husband and I made a pact to order from Leah annually for Valentine's Day and our Anniversary. ;)

n free so that I could eat the same thing as everyone else (which normally never happens for me). We chose a chocolate cake with ganache for the frosting and cream cheese filling. It was so rich and chocolatey, but most importantly it wasn't obvious that it was gluten free, so everyone could enjoy it! The Knot says that Ink Sweets is "expensive" but I found her price to be quite reasonable, so don't let that label scare you away. For reference my cake is pictured in the gallery above: It's the black, 4 tier cake with fresh flowers and flecks of gold (to look like stars). Leah did a fantastic job, and even added a cool texture to the ganache for a unique spin!

with Leah to discuss design elements, and it was so much fun to work with her and talk about cake! Leah was so accommodating with flavor choices and in taking my all-over-the-place ideas about design and making a gorgeous cake inside and out. I'll be dreaming about her dark chocolate pecan-praline cake until I have a reason to get another one!

eah was a joy to work with. I highly recommend her!

ion calling for a beautiful, meaningful dessert.

nd she took creative control of it, and it turned out even more beautiful than I had imagined! I have to say—Leah makes the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. I feel so lucky that I got to have them on my cake! All the flavors of cupcakes were delicious as well; my bridesmaids raved about them. I especially appreciate how accommodating Leah was to us—not only did she make a gluten-free cupcake, but she also made it completely plant-based since I went vegan 4 months before the wedding. I was so thankful she did that so that I was able to eat one of her delicious cupcakes on my special day! We worked with several vendors for our wedding and honestly, INK was the easiest and most pleasant to work with. Leah is so kind, understanding, creative and talented. I have absolutely no complaints. I will be recommending her to anyone I know who needs any sort of sweets!

. The cake tasting was amazing and Leah did an amazing job explaining the options we had and guiding us when we needed the guidance. After walking through our reception and once Leah got to know us, we felt comfortable just letting Leah use her skills for the design of the cake. She is truly an artist. Actually seeing the finished product on the day of our reception was unbelievable. The cake was gorgeous and tasted amazing! We went with almond cake with almond filling, highly recommended!! Seriously cannot talk about how beautiful the cake was. Leah was a joy to work with. I would recommend INK to any newlywed couple without a doubt!

She is so detail oriented with her cakes and goes above and beyond to make sure you get exactly what you were looking for even if it’s just simplicity. I highly recommend INK sweets for anyone’s big day, Leah will make exactly what you dream of!

ng attention to detail, her outstanding passion, and her incredible talent to make us the cake of our dreams. When I expressed interest in learning how to make gum paste flowers, she offered to come to my apartment and teach me how to make them! That is customer service you won't find anywhere else. I will be recommending Leah to anyone I come across who is in need of an awesome cake! She is the prime example of someone who has an absolute passion for their job, and you will not regret choosing her.

night - and continue to rave about them even after the wedding :) Leah is the real deal - I can't recommend her enough!!

it shows through her work. Our cake was stunning. I would highly recommend Ink Sweets and definitely will be using them again in the future!

pliments from our 260 guests. No one even knew the flowers were edible because they looked so real. We will recommend Ink Sweets to anyone that needs a special cake from one of the best Bakers/Artists in the USA! Mike and Ivy Long

d cake flavors and they were all amazing. We ended up picking two different combinations (it was impossible to pick just one) and our guests raved about how delicious both were. She was also extremely helpful when it came to deciding on sizes/servings, details of the cake, and even traveled to Chicago to help set it up at our venue. I knew the final product would be great but she completely exceeded all of my expectations. Her sugar flowers are the most beautiful things I have ever seen! I still can't get over how detailed they were - her passion and talent is out of this world. INK Sweets delivered an absolutely perfect cake and I am so glad we were able to work with Leah.

er flexibility and understanding, and HER TALENT. Not only are her cakes and creations DELICIOUS (I mean she went to pastry school, which speaks for itself), her work is INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL. She was an artist on paper/sculptures/etc. before she took to displaying her art on cakes, and there's just not enough good words in the world to describe what she can do! I told her a million different things I liked and what I was envisioning for not only my cake, but my day as a whole, and it's like she saw into my brain, and then made it 1000x times better. People were raving about how beautiful my cake was - and then about how delicious it was! I can't recommend INK Sweets enough - you will not be disappointed!!! (Disclaimer: she's my best friend, which doesn't mean i'm fake about her work, but a thousand times more critical!! I've seen her grow through this process, so when I say she's worth every penny, I truly mean it!)

dding desserts. Our wedding cake came to life through Leah who understood my vision perfectly. The sketch she provided was perfect and I knew she got me. For wedding desserts, we had lots of mini cupcakes, mini key lime tartlets, regular and gluten free brownies. Our gluten sensitive guests went out of their way to comment on how delicious the brownies were and how much they appreciated the thoughtfulness. Another thing that impressed me is Leah's willingness to offer her expert advice regarding quantities needed to order without pushing me out of my comfort zone. I reduced the quantities mid-way only to go back to her original recommendation and I'm glad I did. Our guests were satisfied and no one missed out on dessert. I will without a doubt use Ink Sweets for upcoming events that could be made better with beautiful and delicious treats.

ared quickly! She’s professional, skilled and kind. I have already recommended her to others and will continue to do so.

fun and filling. We got to try many different flavor combinations, all of which were homemade with natural ingredients and left us so excited to work with her that we did not go to any other tastings! She was so accommodating and was willing to customize from her standard options to create flavors that we envisioned. Leah was always quick to respond to any emails or requests. You can tell that she truly has a passion for what she does and is very talented. I would highly recommend INK Sweets to anyone, for wedding or ANY occasion cakes or desserts. Thanks again Leah, we look forward to working with you in the future!

with her to create something unique that was also SO GOOD. Like, amazingly delicious. So happy with our choice to go with her!

on but I was quickly at ease after sitting down with Leah. She listened to what I wanted and used her expertise to bring my vision to life. The cakes weren't just beautiful but also so yummy that my husband and I didn't have any leftovers to take home! I will definitely be returning to INK for any future treats I might need.

t only the flavor of the cake and frosting she put in front of us, but also how much thought goes into everything she does. There's a reason and a passion behind everything she does, but she always made us feel like our ideas were being heard and applied to what her vision was for our wedding, and I CANNOT WAIT to eat that cake again, and for our guests to see her GORGEOUS work!!! 11/10, will go to INK for everything from here on out!!

down with us and was extremely professional; she listened to what we wanted and took all aspects into consideration. She wanted to know what we were looking for when it came to size, flavor, colors, details, we showed her pictures of things we liked and didn’t, and she produced a sketch of exactly what we were looking for. When it came time to make the sketch a reality, I was blown away. I had never seen something so beautiful, the time and care she put into the cake was evident. Ever since our wedding I have followed her work, and I can tell you that she just keeps getting better, this is her calling. Her artistic view and attention to detail is what sets her apart from the rest. Not to mention the cakes are not only beautiful, they are DELICIOUS! If I ever get the chance, I hope I get to work with her again someday!
