My wife and I decided that we wanted to display our wedding vows several years back but never got around to it. This past summer we planned a special anniversary trip to the site of our wedding, Key West. I decided to surprise my wife, and hire someone to commemorate our vows in calligraphy art and give them to her while in Key West. Being from out of state and not knowing the local art scene- this quickly turned into a daunting task. But after a few calls, I felt extremely fortunate to have found Margot (Inky Fingers). Almost immediately I could tell that she was the right person for my special job. Her demeanor is genuine, friendly, and personable. She was very interested in learning about my vision and the background for the project. We communicated regularly through talk, text and email. She offered me several samples of her work (styles/designs) along the way and ask for my honest feedback. I totally felt comfortable and confident that the piece was going to be just right. Margot really went the extra mile! She even brought the art piece to the hotel, so I could focus on creating another unforgettable moment with my wife and of course, the big reveal! I have worked with Margot (Inky Fingers) for several custom items. Each time she has been amazing to work with, and the quality and artistry has been top-notch. Her calligraphy work is beautiful. She designed and made a custom wedding card that I gave to my brother and sister in law on their wedding day - much nicer than anything you can buy in a store. I also commissioned her to create some custom pieces for my children's room. She made a beautiful "Welcome Baby" banner for my firstborn that I loved so much that I hung it again when I had my second. She also scripted a quote that I framed and hung in my first son's bedroom, and she designed and handmade a crest for my second son. Her work is beautiful, she is amazing to work with and gives the opportunity for feedback and will incorporate any ideas you have. Highly recommend this amazing artist and calligrapher.

We us Margot for projects at most of our restaurants. From signs and specials, to layouts and menu boards, Margot’s work is the best. A great artist and an even better person! You won’t be disappointed.

Margot is so creative! Just tell her what you have in mind & she will come up with lots of ideas to create the perfect cards, invitation & announcements. I feel like a lost art has been found. So disappointed in the computer generated wedding items of late. My order shipped to Michigan fast.

I have known Margot for years and have always respected her artwork. I asked her to write “The Knuttel’s, est. 4/14/18” on a piece of driftwood as a wedding gift from my siblings and I to our sister and brother in law as a wedding gift. Margot did 2 pieces for me: a custom calligraphy piece on a canvas, and then a calligraphy quote on a wooden sign for a gift. Both times she showed me samples of calligraphy for each piece and asked which I preferred, and everything she did was so good it was hard for me to choose! Both came out beautifully, and I could not have chosen a better artist. Margot is truly talented in calligraphy and I HIGHLY recommend her!

Margot was incredible. She addressed our invitations as well as the menu board and welcome sign for our wedding. Margot caligraphied the table numbers for an event I hosted this past June. They came out beautifully and my son was thrilled with her choice of paper (orange is his favorite color). Her work is careful, creative and fabulous.

Margot made custom motivational cards for me to send to my cousin who was going through chemotherapy. I provided her with the selected quotes and she used her wonderful sense of creativity to come up with a unique style for each one! They were all beautiful and so nicely done.
