and leading up to our wedding day, Amanda and her team helped us every step of the way. Kristin Seabolt did our engagement shoot. We spent a few hours frolickinng around Stoney Creek through fields, trails and even rain. Kristin had a positive attitude through the entire session and even when it started to rain we got to break out our clear umbrella! Leading up the wedding, we had multiple brainstorming sessions to make a timeline that fit everything that we wanted to do. My wife requested a smoke bomb photo (her only request) and it is some of her favorite photos. We also chose to do a second photographer, too and worked with Amanda Barnes. Kristin and Amanda both showed up on time and immediately started working on details while we finished getting ready for the day. They had patience when we fell a little behind schedule so when there seems to be some extra time in the timeline, leave it! On your wedding day, not everything is going to go to plan and you are bound to fall behind and leaving extra room really helped us stay on track. We did have time inputted into the day to capture staged photos but they were times when they did candid shots and a lot of times we didn’t even know they were there. Kristin and Amanda both did a tremendous job at keeping us on time and moving throughout the day so we could stay on time. We anxiously waited for our wedding photos and when I say it was well worth the wait, I mean it. We spent three hours looking through our photos the day that we got them. From getting ready, to our first look to the ceremony and reception photos. It was amazing to relive our wedding day through our photos and to be able to have these photos to look back on is something we will cherish forever. We cried, we laughed, we smiled and overall fell in love with the way that Amanda and her team told our wedding day story. We will cherish these photos for forever and we are so thankful that we chose to hire Amanda and her team. We don’t have enough kind words to tell you how Amanda and her team would be the perfect fit for your wedding day.

manda, we did our engagement shoot, we had a covid micro wedding up on Mackinac Island with like a month notice, we finally got to have our big day, and through it all Amanda was there. She does so much more than make you look great in photos, which she really does well, and she takes about a million and gets them back to you as fast as she humanly can, but she also helps you make choices that are in line with your vision, she makes an insanely helpful master timeline for you, she's pretty great to spend hours with too. Everyone on her team is just as nice and wonderful - I personally am very picky and with Amanda there is nothing that wasn't top notch. I find her editing style to be stunning and classic and not overdone, I get endless compliments on every photo she takes, idk if you are still reading this and trying to decide you are nuts - book with Amanda if you want to be happy and be grateful for every moment you get to work with her because she is a true professional and an incredible talent. I love love love everything about this team and am endlessly grateful!

She flew out to Colorado for our engagement pictures and I immediately knew we made the right choice, she was so easy and fun to be around, which helped make us feel more natural in front of the camera. We also chose to include video footage in our package, and I was absolutely blown away by the final video she presented us. precise ability to capture who we are as people and who we are together is why we couldn't have anyone else. Amanda isn't just a photographer. Her taste, experience, and professionalism are worth every penny. She gave us recommendations for our band and hotel that we used. She gave us a step by step itinerary for the day of that was paramount for the logistics and operations piece to work with the rest of our vendors. She also helped us to navigate the small parts of a wedding you don't think of until you start planning (reception line, when to do dances/speeches, etc). She made things EASY, the planning, the process, and the product. She traveled to Chicago with her husband to do our engagment photos, and we had so much fun we forgot we were taking pictures. The video was the real show stopper. She had prefaced this was her first year doing video after training in California and we were estatic after seeing her samples. We are happy to say the video we recieved was even better than we could've imagined. Friends I haven't seen in years sent me kind messages about how they cried and laughed after seeing our engagement and wedding video. On the day of the wedding, her entire team worked closely and quietly and you forgot they were there. When I was hit with a bout of anxiety while getting ready, her team handed me kleenex and a drink and reassured me. It was Amanda's idea to have my husband and I stand back to back (I didn't want him to see me prior) and read each other cards before the ceremony, it was perfect and emotional and sweet - and I have Amanda's team to thank. The big finale at the end of the reception with confetti poppers was the icing on the cake, everyone was impressed. Amanda has a phenomenal, innate skill to deliver photos and video we didn't think we were capable of. She made me feel unconciously beautiful in front of her lens and we had so much fun. You can't ask for anything else in a photographer and videographer, I would recommend Amanda and her wonderful team to anyone!
