Inn at Carnall Hall

Had a smaller wedding out on the steps of Old Main with the reception at Carnall Hall. It was wonderful to be able to get ready there and have the room upstairs to sort through things after the reception. Claire is an amazing planner and will help to make sure that your day goes how you picture it.

We had our ceremony and reception in the Classroom and West Dining Room, which were both beautiful! We used the veranda for our cocktail hour and the weather was so beautiful people spent a lot of time out there and walking the lawn. The staff did a fantastic job of making sure everything was the way we wanted it. The food was great (we did a buffet) and the open bar was a big hit! Considering how much we were able to do with our budget, people thought we spent a lot more on our wedding than we actually did. Big thanks to the staff at Carnall Hall for making our wedding the perfect day!

The staff at Inn at Carnall Hall went out of their way to help us. Everything went very smooth on our wedding day, we had little stress working with the staff.

For atmosphere it was fabulous. We rented the entire hotel for the day/evening and it's a great way to go! They provide the catering from "Ella's Restaurant", which has amazing food. The event lady is hard to communicate with...she has trouble returning phone calls and emails. I think she gets overwhelmed easily. You have to stay on top of her to make sure things are taken care of correctly. For a bride and groom already under stress making sure everything is taken care of this can cause undue stress. I don't think this would be a factor if you had a wedding coordinator.
